You know what I like most about Ali compared to other travel vloggers who have been to the Philippines? Ali is different because he truly made the Filipino people the true stars of his show! How many times have we heard other travel vloggers praise Filipino hospitality and resourcefulness and sense of fun. But Ali really focused the limelight on it by experiencing it himself...he really immersed himself with the people! It is not just our beaches and rice terraces and other landmarks, it is really our people who place value and meaning to the places. The Filipino people are the tourist spots in themselves. Maybe because Ali himself is a blend of East and West (Iraqi-British), so he really connected with us Filipinos because we are a blend of East and West as well.
