Sweet Huffer, but I dunno if it's enough to pull the trigger on buying one. I usually only buy FT figures that I have at least a fondness for, and poor Huff has never exactly been a favorite lol. I'm still good with the 3 Heroes Huffer I got a while back. Their Warpath and Brawn sucked a butt, but their Huffer was a surprising sleeper. Definitely not as screen accurate tho as they gave him more a "heroic" look.
@@TMReviews I had more problems with the other 2. Brawn had like rusted out screws and stuff lol. Huffer was the one that actually felt like it was decently made...everything tabs, nothing loose. Materials aren't FT or XTB tier...agreed, but I think it's fair for the price. Feels similar to the plastic Zeta uses. It's not the best, but I feel it punches above it's weight.
@@TMReviews I hear ya. Soon as FT Powerglide comes...sorry DX9 it was fun lol! Warpath too...soon as I found a decently priced Sheridan, 3 Heroes went down the road. My comments probably reflect more on how I feel about the character more so than any commentary on Rig.
I consider this (I have mine on the way) a true transformer. The back wheels are completely hidden and comes out of the chest and fall down to become the back wheels. The other two wheels are completely hidden in the legs. All companies - take notes. Great figure!
I love this figure, I just received mine today. He looks great and the transformation is fun. This guy looks so much better in had even though your camera does a good job.
And once again, another top notch complete review by TMReviews. I appreciate the extra info on the QC issues you have seen and the extra work you have to do on another FT figure. I also agree with your view on the engineering choices for the back portion of the vehicle mode. Though, I will most likely agree with your assessment that they're minor items with complete workarounds to enjoy the figure and have it be a great addition to one's collection. Though DARE I say, that many skip items like that and merely go about in a zombie like approach that it's perfect. Without having him in hand yet, DAMN YOU USPS...SIX days to get something from PA to MD???, I can see that he can be a great replacement to BadCube, XTB, or Final Victory...IF it were looks alone. But another area you brought up, and it's not the first time you or others have stated, that limited articulation is becoming more the norm than the exception with these recent releases. We saw that with Hunk and Spindrift 2.0..Even Sheridan to a degree..Masterpiece StarScream get's trashed for no ab crunch...but at least it can hold all accessories it comes with. Should FT get a pass?? Two items...QC and Articulation. Deco appears fantastic based on all the videos/pics I've seen on him. He will be in my collection as my representation of this character, and would replace any I would have had. Some of this can't be said for the other image releases for figures in 2022....well maybe 2022.
Thanks Mike, I wouldn't really categorize it as QC issues as you can still use the guns in hand, it just is difficult to get in. The figure is pretty high quality, but definitely limited articulation
I love how the transformation is so different then we got with Badcub. FT did a good job with Rig. On the fence with the paint. I would have liked a more flat paint buts that’s just me. Great review
No doubt it’s the best Huffer to date, is it the definitive Huffer I don’t think so. The paint and sculpt look amazing as always with FT, it’s definitely cartoon accurate so pretty plain and it doesn’t help the articulation especially with the shoulders. I like the transformation but the rear of the truck just looks weird it looks messy and doesn’t look like the back of a truck at all, they’ve done a better job with the design of their pipes in that respect. Iv still got him on order should be with me in a week or so.
I'm mad at how awesome he looks with that paint job lol. I've never seen paint apps that gorgeous since their Quietus. I especially like how the metallic silver looks on the arms. Aside from the issues with the hands and the weapons, which is odd. It has to be some kind of error and they came out misshapen.
@@walkers198 A very good observation! while so many in this community make their ritual sacrifices to the FanSToys 'gods' it's not that uncommon to see trusted reviewers, like TM, talk about needing to shave something down so a tab will fit, or identify tolerances due to that "gorgeous" paint job and what not. Some of those same fanatics go about publically saying that any QC issue equates to a figure(s) being "trash." Thankfully we have objective honest reviewers, who do love this community and hobby, that provide info to allow fellow collectors to make decisions for their own collection. Everyone wins.
Just a little disappointing that it has no back and forth movement. That’s something I expect from a hasbro retail TF but not an expensive piece like this. Overall, it’s still a beautiful Huffer. Best I’ve seen to date.
Not really digging the metallic paint. Give me the usual colored plastic. Also is it me or has Ft quality been on a slow decline the last couple of years??
Huffer and Gears are two of my least favorite Autobots in the G1 cartoon and this toy doesn't change my mind. Total pass. Sticking with that cheap 3rd party one that came with Brawn and Warpath for my Season 1 collection.
Best FT mini-bot to date. Truly exemplary

I have that one too, he's not bad but materials were a bit shotty on him

True, hence why I bought one,, but his time has ended. lol

No, the other wheels are hidden in the backpack. There are no wheels in the legs.

A first-rate review of an awesome Huffer and his cool accessories!
Thanks

I’d pass on the Badcube, like in the name, it’s bad.
Thanks, lol on the name
excellent review, as always

Ya he looks great, the weapons thing seems like an easy fix tho
Still, how does a Co. do the bot right, but mess up on holding the weapons?! Still shouldn’t happen 🤔

Good vid man. Should be getting mine today, ordered from Agabyss. Looks great except for the shoulders, but hey what can you do?
Thanks for watching
Finally got this one- its awesome and my first fanstoys figure- damn fanstoys are good
Nice
“It will never work. Big waist of time”
“There’s two things that I hate Braun, fire 🔥 and water 💧 “
Lol
Love the look and quality. Definitely replacing badcube on my display. Huffer will go in alt mode
Nice choice
Awesome review! Keep up the good work!
Thanks
Great review 🌟😎.. This will definitely stay in bot mode.
Lol, it's actually not that bad in hand

Back and forth foot movement.
Best huffer out
Agreed
Nobody does eyes better than Fans Toys. I guess that's what we pay for...
Or faces for that matter

The quality and paint on this is great, not sure what you mean.
