With jada and mcfarlane now using wired capes I'm hoping it'll pressure hasbro into implementing them. I know jada and dc multiverse are privately owned, unlike hasbro and by proxy marvel legends/the black series, but if they decide to dip their toes in I think they'll immediately find it is a big draw

he was Vega, not Balrog. my only complaint about these figures is how slow they are coming out. i want a whole wave at a time and they're spacing them out like 2 at a time.

Oh absolutely. I already have Ken (red), Chun (blue), and Fei Long. I might skip out on Dhalsim because I have the SOTA Dhalsim... The paint and sculpt is pretty nice from SOTA but... I found that over time the plastic has become brittle and has broken in some parts. But yea man, I agree, this is a very high quality line for the price. Can't beat it 😎
These figures are so cool. I want in, but where does it end? This 6-inch rabbit hole is way too deep. however, the temptation is there, and it doesn't seem s to go away. Great review as always. Plus, much better on the intro combo...
I am looking forward to getting Guile, Dahlism and Blanka. Even taking out of the boxes I think the boxes can be used for figure photography. I beat the game on super Nintendo.
I like that he came with a swappable cape but I don't like that it's a square tho and I have to swap it because it's giving me dark helmet spaceballs vibes! I'm gonna torso mod mine to give him just a smidge more height because as he stands he's just a little out of proportion to the other figures, there's plenty of room to extend between the abdomen and chest!
@@Toygains for me the only plus side to the cape being wired is to manipulate it just enough so it's not so square:)! But I think I'm gonna just get the figuarts one and add a cape to that one and keep the jada capeless!
A bunch of companies have thrown their hats into the collectible action figure ring lately, spin master is starting strong with their playstation figures (very excited for joel and ellie), jada with the niche selections like food mascots and friggin CYBERPUNK EDGERUNNERS?? Scratching an itch I didnt even know I had
Jada toys street fighter are the only action figures they make. They should be good. Hasbro does multiple lines, Mattel does multiple lines, Mcfarlane does multiple lines. They do one line of action figures. 24.99 is the starting price for every action figure line. But where can you find these? Their distribution sucks. They’re not on shelves to buy or order online. These are just as good as Mattel Masterverse and they come with way more accessories and you can buy them at any store off the shelf or online. They have released 7 character’s and it’s taken 2 years to do it.
Jada toys is absolutely exposing the action figure industry. I don’t give af what marvel legends, McFarland, super 7s excuse is. If you’re not putting shit out as good as Jada toys is at whatever price point your charging, I’m not buying your product. One thing you didn’t touch on is how well proportioned the sculpts are. Something McFarlane and marvel legends CONSTANTLY get wrong. Somehow, Jada with their one year of experience can manage to give us unique sculpts and so much more at a reasonable price point. To me this just confirms that design teams at hasbro (excluding GI Joe) have no fucking clue what they’re doing when they design figures. Some of their bucks are atrocious. On top of that, your point about nicely painted silvers is spot on. Every time I see that marbled plastic from legends I want to throw up. Paint your shit metallic ffs. Stop being cheap assholes. I don’t even have space in my display for Jada but I’m buying every figure because it’s that damn good and they deserve my money.

If I'm not mistaken they swapped the names of all 3 because they wanted to avoid copyright infringement with Mike Tyson in the US
