    Why does this say both "JAPAN" and "Harvard Exams"? Last I checked, Harvard is nowhere near Japan.

    What's the point of doing all this if in the end you still have to use a calculator to get the answer🤦

      Because most calculators won't let you put in the original equation and actually get a number out. (Of course, most calculators also don't offer the Lambert W function as an operation, but there are some more advanced ones that do...)
      This sort of thing is also useful if you are not trying to actually find the _numerical_ result, but just want to find a symbolic value of k that you can plug into some other equation, etc.
