It took me a while but just recently i found out that the flac files are upsampled from lossy. I downloaded both mp3 and flac files that you've provided and ran them through spek, flac files are identical to the mp3 files and they all cut off at 20kHz and below. I also had a wav copy of this EP which i found on reddit, that one seems to be a legit lossless as it cuts off at 22kHz. Also one minor detail missing is that the 2099 track in flac format isn't numbered as 4.
finally, someone technical enough. there are a few reasons on why i upsample the audio files. one of it being it's because most of the providers of the collection either have a low quality save or even in the wrong audio codec format. but hey, at least we saved most of yu-utsu's discography, no matter what format
