Thanks for showing all of these "work arounds". Great to see real world events and how they can be worked through. Going for my PPL and it really shows how being ahead of the airplane is crucial. Great video!
I've never remained in a hold that long - great demonstration of patience. I certainly would have been ready to get back on the ground, especially with all of those distracting frustrations to manage. Well done!
Helps that I had enough gas to turn around and fly home. Benefit of 94g. Nice that you used to/currently ride motorcycles. I used to ride a Yamaha until my wife made me trade it for a big screen tv when my son was born. Something about surgeons and planes and motorcycles.
@@5holeaviation The surgeons that are into motors, are usually into ALL the motors. I'll tell you what, as an orthopaedist in Florida, I get reminded daily just how little time we all have with a healthy, relatively pain free body. Most surgeons just get it - We've all got to make the most of the time we have, and planes and bikes return a whole lot fun for the effort expended and risk managed. I'm always happy to see another surgeon out there really living!
I notice in some of your videos the iPad is on the yoke and in others it is suctioned cupped to the passenger side wind shield… What position is best for you?
I thought, based on the title and lead up clip, that YOU were the one to experience a blow out. Anyone can fly in a circle. I wanted to see how you dealt with the flat. Maybe next time?? J/k :-)

Enjoyed seeing the night landing! Another good one, better to hold than have a blown tire!!! Thanks for sharing.
Could feel the angst building with each new hurdle. Nicely done working each of the hiccups. And yes... That GTN sure does help!
Love your PA-32 300
Nice job 'on the fly' figuring it out under a stressful situation!
Love the videos keep up the great work.

I’m always ready to flying along with you in all of these flights including IFR

I settled on the yoke mount. Windshield mount obstructed visibility too much and if you left the suction cup on in the summer can warp the plexiglass
I use a yoke mount with my iPad Air. I am thinking of going to an iPad mini as I feel the iPad covers too much of the lower panel…

No. Was more about unexpected need for extended hold or diversion mixed in with multiple other distractions.
