I used to live the village of Alton which neighbours Alton Towers.. It always amazed me how such a quiet village had the one UK’s most popular theme parks right next door..
Although, the traffic was awful when Alton Towers was open, it paid off with residents of Alton getting free tickets..
Awesome!😁
I can see Alton towers from my window we use to go on school trips there
@@Showname7745thats a lie because none of the rides go over the tree line except for rita but its painted green so you cant see it
@@megso14x I live on the top of a big hill
@@Showname7745 still nothing goes over the tree line so its impossible to see the rides
Imagine being Thorpe Park and being behind a seaside funfair in a car park 😂
Theres a lot to do at blackpool 🤩 I live close to thorpe its getting stale until next year!
Flamingo land trips were what I lived for as a kid, glad to see it getting the respect it deserves.
🤩🤩🤩
Thank you finally
Kumali is the best and most comfortable SLC out there, just wish the layout was bit longer. I wish there was theming and audio like the old days
Agreed! Odyssey I prefer slightly more but its painful! The drops insane! Love kumali though the gs it pulls at the bottom of the drop! 😍
Mayan at Energylandia is probably the best, because it has the vest restraints and is much newer
The Great Nor Easter: am i a joke to you?
Kumalis a shite inverted coaster theres not a single decent ride at Flamingo Land
@@willknight83 I 100% agree... and it's my home park 😅
“Wind be bored for a second” like half the time at theme parks isn’t spent in line😭
Not if you know how to do it properly and have a start 😁
I've gone to 3 out of the 5 theme parks mentioned (Flamingo land, Alton towers and Chessington)
Nice! 😁
DRATON MANOR left the chat
😅😂 how dare they remove apocalypse! Still salty! 😅
Not really a top 5 park anymore, they’ve removed Pandemonium and Apocalypse, and have only really added one decent ride since. They seem to be completely rebranding as a family park, and that does help make more money, but doesn’t mean that it’s necessarily a good park anymore. The only good rides there are Shockwave, Maelstrom, and Loki. Those rides alone aren’t good enough for it to make the list.
I only went to drayton manor when i was young in thomas land tbh
@@BlakePlayzzz Its very good for the kiddies 😄
@@bessechurgeri loved pandemonium and apocalypse. g force has gone too but the theming on that was non existent. also they're trying to rebrand as a family park yet haven't they increased the height restriction on storm force 10 and the rebranded river rapid by a whole 3" due to the accident?
I am happy my local park flamingo land is on there 😄
🤩 Ita good fun 😁
Fun fact, never get in the group queue as it's always a 2 hour queue. I suggest getting in the single riders queue as it takes only 5,15 mins. (Smiler. Alton towers)
Agreed 😂
Went to Chessington yesterday and mandrill mayhem is amazing!!
Glad you gad fun 😁
I have been to Alton Towers and went on smiler when I was queuing up for it I was scared but when I was on it it was not as scary as I thought it was going to be
Its a good one to get over coaster fears 🤩
@@1minutethemeparks yes I agree
I have only ever been to alton towers and pleasure beach, now I feel like I've peaked and it's just downhill from here
Still all good parks :D
Thorpe park isn't even really near to me but you can see stealth from my school.
Nice 😁
i just came back from blackpool pleasure beach today and The Big One (The Pepsi Max) was incredible and honestly if you are scared of coasters trust me it will get rid of your fear!
Glad you had fun 😁
I guess I'll see cause I went on shambhala (249ft) qnd red force (367ft) a month ago keeping in mind the big one is 235ft I am still scared of coasters so it differs from person to person😊
its really rough and jolty though
@@sillybilly8241 The retrack made it worse 😭
@ITS_KAI- yeah so do I
Woodlands is also a theme park and it has the biggest play area in the uk with loads of dropslides
Not been to this one 😁
I went on the smiler yesterday at alton towers
Nice! Did you like it?
Been to Alton Towers twice and got on a total of 5 rides between both times
Ouch you gotta go off peak🤩
Fantasy island left the chat
Love fantasy island 🤩
Yeah its definitely not top 5
Flamingo land is good, but it’s small and the indoor play area with the big fish tank is unsafe (be your kid/sibling if they go in) my sister went down the broken slide and banged her head on the pole (what was suppose to have padding in) and there was a meta spike that made her have to go hospital then and there, the staff didn’t help I had to run to the front and get the staff what took about 15 minutes and another 5 to get there because he was slow.
The staff can be a bit iffy at flamingoland :/
@@1minutethemeparks I agree they left the play area open too, my sisters blood was on the toys 😬
@@wimpyss 🤢
I live very close to alton towers, and for some reason I've never been a huge fan
I haven't been for a while though, might need to refresh my memory on the park
Im the same with thorpe park lol although I still go alot as my brother loves it 😂
You wont be bored for a second-
Me in the saw queue
Agreed😂 the saw queue sucks!
@@1minutethemeparks real
I defo recommend Paultons park!
5th spot was a tough one! We do love paultons park though 😁
Storm Chaser and Magma are my favourite rides! But In you opinion can you do a video were you rank the top 5 rides at paultons park? @@1minutethemeparks
Paul tons park
Paultons park is definitely one to watch. When I moved to the south coast 20 years ago it was awfull. In recent years, after the peppa pig investment paid off, they have invested well in family coasters and themeing.
I wouldnt put it in any top park list, due to lack of white knuckle rides, but as a family park, its first class.
@@SteveDavies80 Agreed
Great vid I completely agree with you!
❤️❤️🤩
i love 25 mins from altontowers !
Nice 😁
I remember a few months ago I went to Blackpool for the first time for a job, I wasn’t a massive fan of the town, but it kinda won me over after I went to Pleasure Beach because you wouldn’t expect a beachside town amusement park to be a genuinely amazing as it is
I agree blackpool is a dump 😂
But the seafront is one of the best in the country😁
@@1minutethemeparks yeaaaa but it definitely made the trip worth it atleast 😂
@@matthewknight5926 100% did you go ok valhalla?
@@1minutethemeparks yeaaaa. I wasn’t familiar with the ride so I assumed it was a dark ride… then I saw how they were using fucking vacuums to get the literal pools of water out of the boats… genuinely surprised my phone survived the ordeal, it was absolutely brilliant
@@matthewknight5926 Sounds about right 😂 im glad you enjoyed it im obsessed love it so much! 🤣
Got to go to Blackpool for the first time in years and went on Valhalla and icon for the first time. So good, desperately trying to find a reason to go again
Valhalla is the reason to go again! 😂
Oh my gosh I’ve been on the one in the first clip is called the twister I literally was about to faint after it
The smiler? 😁
the twister???
@@twig7198 😂
Been to all the top 3 and imo thorpe parks the best. Altons closer to me but even tho saw was closed it easily was my favourite bc of stealth it was amazing
Nice, I live close to thorpe so its getting stale for me until next year! 😁
I went on a Thursday in a school week and I went on 5 rides from opening to closing that was as many as u could go on
I went to alton towers the week before still a school week the longest ride was 5 minites
@@taajmanzoor344 It can be a tough one to judge lol
and the perfect weather to enjoy all of them
🤣🤣🤣
as a crazy fan of cars, Stealth solos and makes Thorpe park my favourite 😂
Fair play😂
You guys in the uk and the us are so lucky I live in Canada and there is literately 2 so whenever I want to ride something not at Canadas wonderland or la ronde I have to travel.
Ouch :/
Are they atleast good theme parks?
@@1minutethemeparksTrue
I've been to all of these, besides number 5
Whats your number 5? 😁
Flmingo land my local park ⚠️ never go on hero I had to be evacuated and my head got bashed when I rode it when it opened again⚠️
😂 Good old hero (death trap)
We actually found one worse Volare at wiener prater, now that one really hurt 😅
@@1minutethemeparksI live in york near flmingo land we go there with my school.
Flamingo land: Sik
Alton towers: wickerman (until next year)
Thorpe park: swarm
Chessington: mandril
Fantasy island: odyssey
Blackpool: icon
My fave park is Alton towers,
Thorpe park
Blackpool
Chessington (my local park)
Flamingo land
Fantasy island
I meant Thorpe park until next year-
A good list :D
Are you 5 years old? There is no way you just said wicker man is the best ride at Alton towers. It’s a children’s ride.
@@winstonchurchill586 bro many people agree with that the full experience please shut up as I am not five! It has great airtime or negative g’s it’s a great ride bro hasn’t watched rating and reviews and I yes it’s is but not a family ride also I ride it back row I doubt you did did you? Just watch reviews and ride it again and appreciate the full experience 💀 shush bro 💀
@@1minutethemeparks thanks
@@Britishairwaysfan It’s a children’s ride. Is runaway mine train your second favourite? 😂
Went to Alton Towers last year. I have the money to travel to the UK again I might do Pleasure Beach in September. But first Europa Park in May.
Have an awesome time! 🤩
Fun Fact! The oldest theme park in the UK is blackgang chine located on the Isle of Wight. It opened in 1843 and is still open to this day!
Still need to go get a #1minutethemepark 🤩
Who else remembers when chessington was just a zoo…..
My sisters school year were there the same day they were filming Grange Hill scenes
Nice! And I cant remember when it was just a zoo :(
I live like 20 minutes from Crealy, decent theme park
Not been yet need to check it out 🤩
Because of where I live I go to flamingo land every year now
Nice 😁
I like alton towers but the only thing about it thats negative for me at the moment as a family of 5, its great for young kids, its great for teenagers and adults but not so great for both in the same group.
pleasurebeach is brilliant for young kids in the same group, plenty of rides to go on for their height and rollercoasters for them as well and you can just head to those whilst other members of your family can go on bigger rides not far away. for example my wife and son went on the big dipper and me and my daughter went on the train. the train is a really cool feature because it passes underneath so many coasters!
with alton towers the ticket price for a 5 year old is too expensive for the rides they can go on, and if you all head to the different sections like over to smiler.. theres nothing there for young kids to go on, so its cbeebies or bust with alton towers if you have a young child with you and its a hell of a trek over to the other areas of the park.
Fair play, alton towers is a lot of walking 🤣
‘Britains greatest escape’ I love The Smiler it’s my fav 2
😵💫😵💫😵💫😵💫
Are there any good ones in Scotland? Idk if any of these are in Scotland
Theres 1 in scotland called M&Ds we have never been it doesnt look great though 😅
The first ride at the start was smiler
😵💫😵💫😵💫 Smile always
I’ve been to three of these Alton towers thope park and chessingtion
Nice 😁
Thorpe park was way better than Alton towers for rollercoasters last time I went to them both in a summer. Stealth alone makes it my favourite. Alton Towers has nicer grounds to explore though. Also isn’t smiler the one that kept malfunctioning and broke a load of legs?
Smiler crash was a freak accident due to human error :/ thorpes coasters are good for the uk but easily beaten by other european parks :/
Flamingo Land was my childhood, it’s a shame it’s just so unbelievably run down now
Still a great little park 🤩
winter wonderland
Its good fun :D
Favourite ride at each park:
Chessington: Mandrill Mayhem
Flamingo Land: Kumali & Sik (can't decide)
Thorpe Park: Stealth (for now)
Blackpool Pleasure Beach: Valhalla & Icon
Alton Towers: The Smiler
A good list 😁
Good list stealth surely swap that for saw or collosus
Same picture!!!!
I love Chessington, Tigers rock is my favourite ride
Fair play :D
Adventure Island should take like spot 7 or 8
Adventure island is great, the staff are so friendly 😁
@@1minutethemeparks yeah and I love the rides axis is crazy I closed my eyes for a second then I was upside down
i have been to pleasure beach twice i really recommend going
Its a lot of fun 😁
my right ear loved this video
? 🤣🤣😅
I actually agree with this Blackpool pleasure beach and Thorpe park plus Alton towers really top 3 in uk
🤩 Thanks for watching
I won't go to alton towers because of that person dying on the smiler after the crash
It was a freak accident, its doubtful it will happen again 😂
I've only been to 5 UK parks and my favourite is defo alton towers
💪💪💪
Alton Towers is def on top with nemesis reborn I love it
100%😁
I have been to Alton Towers
Hope you enjoyed 😄
The smilled is fun I loved it but you have constant anxiety your going to lose your legs , my brother went on it 3 days before it happened one of the days the part was shut
Scary! What a story to have
Who was just waiting to here the words Alton and towers
🤣
I knew alton towers would be first, I’m planning a trip this year to go there
Nice 😎
What about Paultons park
Probably 6th for us, spot 5 was tough to choose ! 😁
Me going to camel creek 😂
😂
Your friendly neighbourhood Alton Towers fanboy is very happy now😊
😁🤩
I agree with black pool pleasure beach but i went to alton towers recently and tbh it is kinda disappointing its really dropped off now
I agree im giving them some slack as they have alwayd been good, but operations have been terrible this year scarefest looks like it will be stale again etc :)
@1minutethemeparks well it was just like everything like food there was disappointing to say the least and there just isn't enough variety with it specially compared to the amount of walking you gotta do
Flamingo land is the best one out of those 5
😦
Nice to see flamingo land actually getting the respect it deserves lol.
Its a great park 😁
Its not, its a dump, half the rides are broken and the zoo is pretty poor.
@@oliverbrinkworth4779 I though it was one of the better theme paek zoos 🤔
I agree❤ Alton towers for life
🤩
What about Drayton manor. Correct me if I’m wrong. I’ve never been to any of these top 5
Drayton manor removed 2 good thrill rides :/ its still good but they have A lot of work to do to get back up top. Just my opinion though 😁
Tbh Blackpool is better than Alton Towers because Blackpool has amazing thrillers and the queues aren’t that long but if your not riding smiler thirteen or oblivion it’s not worth the wait
I get what you mean, towers operations have been awful this year!
I went to Blackpool one but I didn't get to go on the blue or red one (i forgot what they r called) ☹️☹️☹️ the red one was closed bc of what happened with the accident that happened and high winds some of them were closed
The big one (redone) isnt great these days very rough awesome if you've never done before though!
And infusion (blue one) is one of the uks most hated rides because its very parinful so you didnt miss much
I hopenyou still had a good time :aD
Bro I go to chessington every Saturday
Nice 😁
Where would you rate Oakwood Theme Park in Wales
Ive not been yet! Planning a trip soon its the only big uk theme park I havent been too. Although I heard its just the woodie! Is there much else there?
@@1minutethemeparks there’s megafobia (wooden coaster)
Then we have another coaster called speed which is similar to Saw
Then a log flume and our version of tidal wave if it’s open
There’s also a slingshot there but it’s only been open 1 time and I’ve been there 5-6 times
@@ConnorOkeefeDJ Nice, I will have to get over :)
Why did I call alton towers, Acton town
🤣
omg I went on the Jumanji ride amd the vampire best rides ever!!! 100% recommend
Glad you had fun, thanks for watching 😁
wickerman is better personally but smiler's a close second!
😵💫😵💫😵💫
Just me wondering how Blackpool pleasure beach got second.hasn’t been the same since Noah’s ark was there in the 80s & 90s
Bppb is awesome 😍
Its still there just cannot go in it. Btw Icon and Valhalla is waaaaay better than Noahs ark and i loved the Ark
🤩
I was thinking bro say aton tower
😂
I am very near Alton living in rocester

Alton towers smiler also the one that killed people in recent memories and also notorious for breaking down. Alton towers has a bad reputation for accidents and things breakings down
A freak accident due to human error highley unlikely it would happen again, the smiler is awesome :D
Only change for me really is to swap Thorpe Park and Blackpool.

nah he isn't the only one
It was literally the people riding fault.
@@Idropkickchildrentomars how was it their fault
