A very good use of film to tell a Short Story. Suggests violence, sexual tensions, drama without todays extreme graphic sex & violence that's desensitized this generation.
i loved this episode!! this series is good, clean, easy to watch without offensive language, morally sound with great story lines!!! thanks for posting!!!
Awesome classic TV, plus big bonus these episode are filled with a great list of great character actors . and this episode is just so over the top at its best.
One of my favorite series. Charles Bronson looks so tough from his movies. Yet I saw him years ago with his then wife Jill at the theatre. He was sitting 2 rows diagonally across from me. Easily identifiable, as was his lovely wife. He was very appealing in real life
Two cast members from 'The Andy Griffith Show'..The guy on the left is Hal Smith (Otis Campbell)..and the other big guy once played Andy's visiting relative ..(7:35).
Wow, I also just watched him in that One Step Beyond episode, and then clicked on this because I thought it was another One Step Beyond. I never heard of this series either. I guess I'll be watching these too.
These episodes are great and Charles Bronson is awesome. His athleticism and presence is so impressive. For those familiar with Robert Howard's Conan the Barbarian, I can totally see now why he was a candidate to play the character. He had the right face, athletic prowess --- just not the size or the right age at the time.
I never knew about this TV show, and I grew up in the late 50's early 60's. Maybe it was too adult for my parents to allow it. This is the first episode I've watched. A study in human nature and evil. Shows why you do not want to live in a big city. Better to live a hundred miles from anyone.
These our the times , were same then as now . Reminds me of how people look when they think your a tourist makes em turn into terrorists. It's so well made , all of it . Thanks so much for sharing
I was born in the sixties , so a bit before my time , always been a big charles bronson fan havent come across this before , great stuff . Also came across the rifleman a while back with chuck connors and Johnny crawford also brilliant .
I never heard of this to be sure but I must’ve been on in the 1960s I’ll see if I can see any more episodes and you don’t wanna mess with Charles Bronson even back then
In 1959, Bronson, as Mike Kovak, was taking pictures of creeps in bad urban neighborhoods. But by 1975, as Paul Kersey, he was dispatching creeps in bad neighborhoods. My favorite line from Death Wish II was "Do you believe in Jesus? Well, you're going to meet him" Pow! Pow!
Pike said,"I hate the Police and Photographers !" 🤷♂️ In 2020 he'd say," I hate the Police and people with cellphones who take pictures of their food and post it on social media!"🤷♂️
This was well acted and Bronson is terrific. I recognize the brother of the girl and he was in a lot of pictures. I think he and Burt Reynolds were friends. I can't remember his name.

Gosh there are multiple characters from The Andy Griffith show. Otis is in this. one played Andy's uncle one guy played a bad guy. There's the detective from the movie Christine.
This had a profound effect on me. We should show some of the present social disruptors pictures of themselves "in action" - they need it. The problem is, there's a surplus of pictures and it's difficult to sort the wheat from the chaff. We should all behave as if there were a video camera recording our actions - we'd be much more "civilized". (Out of vanity, fear for the consequences or embarrassment).
It's like today, except on the brink of technology... now he'd have a video camera & have followed the two girls arguing and post it online before the cops got called. Entertainment was interesting before reality ruined the theatrical aspect. I'm liking this show!
Unrealistic. anyone hanging out in "the hood" taking pictures of everyone is going to get beating to a pulp within seconds and his cameras stolen. Even if they're tough guys like Bronson. The actress who plays Carmen looks like Ava Gardner, but of course it isn't.
that's are people in nowadays too, one stupid lie and they all catch on it. Mike show those pictures of those very good, i do the same, but in memory. Who makes those series, must have very good knowledge about behavior of people. Mike is here to calm down the mad people in a very good way, sad is only that is impossible in real life not in those time not today. The problem is that men and women wants to be proud of themselves at all cost, usually at somebody's back(picking on somebody to improve his/her majesty). Nothing wrong to be proud of yourself without "using" people. Actually we made in this way, but some rather choice other (stinky) method. If would be a lot people as Mike would be much better life, but is just in series, this guy wouldn't have any chance in real life. Mass people prefer support bastards, then live shity life! i don't care.
There's a lot to be said in favor of a television program that preaches to the audience, how much it falls short of good behavior. We certainly don't have anything like that today, with our shows telling us to find entertainment in spectacular explosions and gory displays of killing. On the other hand, it must get old pretty quickly to have the program composed of a holier-than-thou preacher who manages to shame everyone whom he meets. Even popular resentment against a petty criminal is something ordinary people are shown to be wrong about. The message of this episode seems to be, do not take action; wait for the government to act, in support of the continuance of the status quo.
This is brilliant. A guy with a camera and yet so compelling. I want to buy a camera.
charles bronson was always cool from the 1950's to the 1990's and he's one of the few movie tough guys that you know was tough in real life too
A very good use of film to tell a Short Story. Suggests violence, sexual tensions, drama without todays extreme graphic sex & violence that's desensitized this generation.
Thanks for watching! May the Sauce be with you.
from one step beyond to this show brilliant
i loved this episode!! this series is good, clean, easy to watch without offensive language, morally sound with great story lines!!! thanks for posting!!!
Great show...one of many "man of action " shows on American TV. Mike Kodak...I mean Mike Kovak
How have I not heard of this? Thank you ❤️
In memory of Charles Bronson...1921 2003.

Name of series please?
I have never even heard of this show...it's actually pretty good
For the 50s.
As good as it was it only ran for one season I think.
But that's okay The Great Escape was right around the corner.
Two cast members from 'The Andy Griffith Show'..The guy on the left is Hal Smith (Otis Campbell)..and the other big guy once played Andy's visiting relative ..(7:35).
You're right! I wondered why the second guy seemed so familiar!
That’s crazy. I usually name them.
Thank you! This is a great series.
Thanks for posting this great obscure tv show!
I just watch Charlie on One Step Beyond in "The Last Round" now here he is again. lol I never seen this show before. Not that I can remember.
Wow, I also just watched him in that One Step Beyond episode, and then clicked on this because I thought it was another One Step Beyond. I never heard of this series either. I guess I'll be watching these too.
We didn’t have cable in the ‘50s so never had a clue this series existed until I came across it today. What a pleasant surprise!
Sara Hannah We didn't have cable in the 1950s. We had rabbit ears on top of tv. Got four channels, CBS, NBC, ABC and OETA.
It still exists on retro tv, a free broadcast station. You just need rabbit ears or any other antenna.
This program was on ABC.

12:03 look kids! This is an old-timey pay phone with a rotary dial! And WHAT a classic old camera!
with a young Harry Dean Stanton!great show.
He had been in so many productions that I love, character and several leads! "Paris, Texas" stands tall among them!
before he was a "Repo Man", lol

Wait...what?!? Good description lady!!!
This was well acted and Bronson is terrific. I recognize the brother of the girl and he was in a lot of pictures. I think he and Burt Reynolds were friends. I can't remember his name.
Linda Lawson was a beautiful and talent actress. She passed away in 2022 at the age of 86.
some great meaningful story.
Great show
😂 that lady’s scream was so forced!

This episode, and your comments, are all prophetic. Jan. 9, 2020.
Gosh there are multiple characters from The Andy Griffith show. Otis is in this. one played Andy's uncle one guy played a bad guy. There's the detective from the movie Christine.
Character actors Harry Dean Stanton, Eddie Ryder, Penny Stanton and beautiful Linda Lawson. They all performed good.
This had a profound effect on me.

Maybe you can show The Partridge family Susan dey is my favorite 🤩✌🏻
I loved the Partridge Family. David Cassidy was my favorite. I saw him in concert when he toured in 1973. His hair was better than Susan's.
Don't mess with a vet....
OUBLIÉ OBLAESHD ! ! !

Desilu and ABC would use the same lots on such series as The Untouchables and Harrigan and Son.
The actor who plays Phil Pike, looks a bit like character actor, Joseph V. Perry.
Joe, wasn't he the guy dumping garbage off the destroyer in the movie: The Enemy Below?
Dean stockwell? Haven’t seen this movie in a very long time.
Carmen = hot.
Chuck on moral highground...love it

U r right. The ice cream man wouldn't be hanging around. He too wud have been robbed. These r such nice thugs.
@@dorothydanridge Carmen Jones!
Exactly et.al Such a beautiful lady.
@@dorothydanridge You bet! It's too bad she had a tragic life
After all, it’s a tv show, not a documentary.

If the status quo means peace and stopping mob violence, hooray!
You should have stopped before you got to “on the other hand “.👍🏾
