Reminds me of the Metal Gear franchise with Metal Gear Solid (1998) being a sequel the OG games (Metal Gear and Metal Gear: Solid Snake) but then having MGS 3: Snake Eater, MGS Peace Walker and MGSV being prequels to them. Games where the story timeline doesn't match the games' release order can be confusing at first but then become very intriguing have started to appeal to me recently

To be fair, a rogue AI mirror of a late ace pilot is something to worry about. If anything, the ZOE Project in AC2 and 7 allude to the issue having AIs entering the fight.
Simon has a lot to worry, so he simulated Usea to see if a shackled AI can beat it no matter the cost.

I’ve always felt bad for Erusea. They’re always made out to be the bad guy when to me it just looks like they’re just trying to get by and ensure their own survival. Then when they eventually can’t take it anymore, they declare war to stand up for themselves.

@@nickcher7071 seriously. Like AC04 was the game that got me into the franchise and it’s still my favorite. Growing up I always loved the campaign and hated Yellow 13 bc “antagonist.” But then I got into the lore with AC07 and the more I read, I was like “... okay but why is Eursea wrong..?” Then I began to love Yellow 13 and Erusea. Now all I want is a game where we play an Erusean or a fallen Osean at the very least.

It seems that there were only around three major border changes over the course of Strangereal history.
1. The annexation of South Belka
2. The independence of East Belka
3. The de-uniting of Anea
Recta was invaded by Belka, Belka broke up and released Recta and Ustio. Recta broke up in two afterwards. Erusea took Voslage, Shilage and Gunther Bay.

You missed two events, both involving General Resource. According to AC3, in 2026 Abyssal Dision helped suppress a terror organization. Then during the events of Ace Combat Advance in 2032, a Usean faction called the United Air Defense went to war with General Resource's Air Strike Force. Its arguable if Ace Combat Advance is even canon, but if Northern Wings and Brave Arms get a mention, Advance should deserve a mention as well.
The 2025 Sapin Civil War is something PA should make canon given they could take the idea and turn it into an AC Game as it can be the fallout from the Satellite crash of AC7
If this happens, make it filled with lots and lots of Spanish music.

I like how all of these continents are extremely unique even if you can recognize some very common things this world has with ours like the great lakes. But it's also funny seeing that Greenland and Iceland haven't changed at all.
I heard that Ace Combat was a great air combat game, so last year I bought 6 & Final Assault.
The latter can go fly with the angels, but I had no idea of the absolute *rabbit hole* I had entered.
I love it.

Hopefully, AC8 is the set-up for Electrosphere and the possible fall of Osea as a superpower.

There's a couple of inaccurate things here, but the biggest one is that Ace Combat 3 doesn't start in 2038, it starts in 2040.

I learned a lot! I didn't now AC's timeline was retconned into Bandai-Namco's other game timelines and I didn't know we could've had Metal Gear Rising: Revengence but with Project Aces music!

General Resource was active from at least 1989 Source: Aldair Nascimento's bio, AC3.
Which means General Resource is not a product of the GRey men or the GRunder industries under a different name.
And according to the extended timeline, they last into the 3000's.

Sort of, although both games have their advantages.
Shame AC6 is an Xbox exclusive, while ACX is either a PSP exclusive or an emulator game. They better port them to the PC and the PlayStation consoles (a la MGS: Peace Walker) respectively.

Not a very big fan of that game, but I understand the pain. MGS4 really needs a rerelease in different ports... but then again, Kojima reportedly made the game to not be successful as the years pass.

It's weird how often I the strangereal universe, that the nation that ultimately ends up winning is initially pushed out of its homeland to a single province, and destroys the invaders, somehow retaking an entire continent-sized object in under a year.
I love how most of these continents/Countries are nearly taken off the real world map and thrown with another random country and given it's own name and history

the fact that in strangereal universe there is alot of places and countries that looks like real life countries, like you can see new zealand somewhere in the map and also some continents that have parts that looks like europe
Remember that Osea backed ISAF, which explains the start of 7 and Erusian suspicion.
Nemo's intent from the start was to kill dysion though. I don't think he was intended as a general combat weapon which leave some very interesting implications on what's going on in the real world.
Would have loved an fps set in the pivital moments of AC lore. Imagine playing the team which had to infiltrate and then storm megalith.

I feel like Northern Wings can be canon if you ignore the AC5 missions. The giant antlion is pretty neato, honestly, and it also gives an insight into the Eursean refugee crisis.
Also, the UGSF is sick and it will remain sick until we get an AC game that overrides it's spot in the timeline.

@@celicaas95 "United Galaxy Space Force". He talks about it at the end of the video, but it's basically a shared universe between all of Namco's "futuristic" games and the timeline starts with AC3.

The inter corpo war sounds like those corpo wars from the cyberpunk lore
PA is surely going to a proper world war wich leads to the uprising of GR and Neucom. The birth of Rena, how Abyssal Dision gets his ace tittle. And remember that all what happens in AC3 is a simulation. PA could tell us how mistaken was that simulation when NEMO finally gets into the real world.
In regards to Ace Combat 3's story being canon, I consider the international release's story to be the real Intercorporate War since it's linear, and the Japanese story to be just a simulation. Because remember, the multiple outcomes were part of the story. Simon Cohen wanted Dision dead, which is why he was ready to release Nemo after every possible outcome of a war with General and Neucom resulted in Dision's death.
Because of how sketchy AC3's position in the canon is, I would be open to believe that the international version of the Intercorporate War was the canon way it went.

I don't think AC5 is the only game with that many super weapons. Zero had Excalibur, the XB-0, the ADFX-01 Morgan, and Avalon Dam. ACX had Gleipnir, the Meson Cannon, Fenrir, and Archalon Fortress.

You know I feel like Erusea did nothing wrong atleast not initially. The ISAF countries seem a bit entitled for expecting Erusea to shoulder the burden. Now the war annexing Shilage, Voslage and against Osea was definitely their bad.
It is really nice that a lot if if not most of the Eruseans teamed up with Osea and IUPKF in the last mission of AC 7. They deserve to be on the winning side for once.
I always wanted to play an ace combat game where the player is fighting with Belka, but I guess that would just be fanfic at that point. Never thought Strangereal wars would become about corporate giants fighting each other and space though. Nice video ACF

I think all ace combat protagonists are a Nordennavic spy/ace, think about they help whatever faction that suits their interests take down radicals, and then by some twist of fate conveniently disappears right when the battles over.
A bit far-fetched, but I still believe that Northern Wings game with the Nordennavic "shadow ops" squadron is at least broad strokes canon. Hope they become part of AC8's plot.

Namco really retconned every space-themed arcade game from the 80s as belonging in the Ace Combat universe, and that just to celebrate the 35th anniversary of Galaga. And even Dig Dug is set in the Ace Combat universe now. What the hell.

2:49 out of the usean nations on that map, I wonder which one is the federation of central usea. Well since the country has a navy we can point out that it’s not landlocked, it’s in central usea, so I say that it has to be that country in the center of usea with a long narrow corridor reaching the coast line.

Since the beginning of the video you stated that the Gunther Region (where Selatapura’s located) was not part of Erusea. But in truth, that chunk of land was part of Erusea until the end of the Continental War and ISAF occupation of it’s territory, after that, it separated from Erusea and became an IUN trusted-territory.
ace combat 3 and future lore is so weird and complicated that it's just better to think they are no longer canon.
or simply think they are in a different strangereal.
Or take the 'International Release' story as the canon?

Ace Combat 5 was undoubtedly the BEST Ace Combat game. The story was epic, characters were alive and interesting, the cinematics and storytelling during missions were masterful, and the gameplay mechanics were so tight. Ace Combat 7 showed promise, but the lackluster storytelling and inability to command a squadron imo hindered the game. Also, not every conflict should involve Belka xD
ACF, you might have forgotten that General Resource is actually a legacy company to Grunder Industries, while Neucom is the same company that created the Wyvern variants and other experimental Erusean tech. Other than these, pretty good vid.
And once again, the UN expy fails to create a GDI-level success story when it comes to UPEO. Typical.
