1965 to 1980 to me is the real sweet spot for American-made cars. Camaros, Chevelles, Mustangs, Novas, Chargers, Trans Ams...most beautiful cars ever made. In my opinion. And this is a PERFECT example.
Not lying about those old school vent windows. I wear shorts 99.9% of the time and that breeze sure does feel good 🤙🏼 Lovely looking 66’ Chevelle 👍
Absolutely love it, another Chevelle that was built beautifully. Sounds great, looks great inside and out and the Chevy rally wheels set this car off!!!
Yea i love ralley wheels least it didnt have those stupid 22 inch protest wheels
man love the way she sounds!!! Thought the numbers was matching for the price!! but still nice.
wow Nick, What a beautiful 66 super sport , i love the color and the matching interior and the roar of the 396 is super cool !!!!!
What a gorgeous Chevelle. It has a couple minor "projects" for the future owner to work on. Just enough to be fun.
You keep finding these clean cars Nick. Keep up the great work. Take care.
Sounds like it would pass anything but a gas station
That’s a beautiful beast!!! No A/C though, for almost 40k
If that cam is a solid lifter, Chevrolet did not offer A/C
Keep up the great flnds! One of my favorite ones so far, love the color, wish it was burgandy tho
Sweet car. One of my dreams. 66 is my favorite Chevelle. Awesome color to. Did he ever mention if the horn works or not?
Man that thing sounds AWESOME!. Never seen that color before...beautiful Chevelle all around NICK..I could listen to that exhaust all day.
Wow another great looking ride! Love the Chevys! My favorite is the 55 with a big block motor!
Beautiful car!
That is one good looking, wicked sounding Chevelle! Sweet ride!
This chevelle is beautiful, gorgeous, awesome!!!!; Nick👍
Car is nice...not a Swine underneath. Love tha Test Drives...imma get my buddy to do a roadtrip to see you guys.
Beautiful car beautiful sound.. music to my ears!!
1966 is always been #1 of all CHEVELLE for me was the most stout car of the CHEVELLE line up..67 was it's close in looks but "66" Takes it.. This one has its sway bar on rear end gauges work many didn't have a full working cluster.its shifter Council has its clock still in it.some one did the rust olium black paint as we did in chgo cause winter is brutal. We drove them we did trouphy them back then most were our daily I drove one to work for a year until the engine was done a 396 meantime I had a 6cly in it drove great threw winter in chgo winter of 1978.by late 79 it had its 396 classic blue color CHEVELLE this one was a rare color if it's still original color.. I had 3 1966 in my life.. All 3 wasn't fully option like this one.. This was decently option for those days..other then AC it's has it .. Oh isn't nothing to upgrade to AC today..even if never came with it. They make all OEM parts for dash switches for it as if it came factory. Last one I seen done was under 3,600 DOLLERS to have it AC out OEM . if under dash model could run in the 2,500 ..but all so worth it if your gonna drive it in 90 degrees weather it's when there mostly out CRUISEN the show's. One very nice CHEVELLE Nick..keep telling folks once they drive one they would under stand the price.. Ppl not familiar with there goin rates on em low ball cause it's what car buyers do. Even if they get a fantastic deal they will either say they pay way above listed price I mean way above or say less to those they want to impress of what a car buyer they are and say they out smarter the dealer to friends depends who there boasting to its what I seen in 20 plus yrs in car sales..
Great car Nick.. Easy seller to the right enthusiast..or one who knows there CHEVELLE to the letter.
Just love the look of this car beautiful amazing looking car beautiful colour thanks Nick have a very nice day
Very impressed Nick. Thanks
Looks and sounds great
Nail it Nick one time to the floor. thanks
Central California watching
Very nice. My 1st car in ‘75 was a black SS 396. Takes me back.
Sweet car! I hope I can visit Maple Motors soon!
Awesome find ! Absolutely love it
Best rims 4 a Chevy. 👍👍
It sounds awesome! Just like a big block should ! Nice !
Fantastic! Worth every penny
Nice just to here that beast is music to my ears
that 396 has a nice cam in it ,very nice
For the price your asking , I would expect the car to be flawless . Too many minor issues . Is a great looking car tho .
High 40s for a flawless one
I spent the last three months looking at car ads; a "flawless" BB Chevelle can cost you 50 - 70 K.
The numbers you all are talking ($40-50k) would be for a number matching car. This is not, so ya it’s a little pricey. Nice car though.
My 396 had horse power sticker on the air cleaner from factory with 396 logo and flags mine rock crusher
Great stance,sound body & wheels.
It should roast em up thru 1st and 2nd. Like to see that !! Come on...Nick. Open er up !!!
i
Sweet 66 homie
That is a beauty!
That’s is a real good price for a true SS 66 4 speed, big block. Check Vanguard, they would want 45+ for this car.
Nice chevelle
Nice work 😮
Perfect stance and wheels.
That what I am looking for in that price range
What a beauty.
Very cool car
There it is, my dream car. Absolutely fine!
Dude that is the whip I dream of owning that is a masterpiece true hot rod right there
I live up here in Pittsburgh and there's a dealership of restored and tricked out newer muscle cars and no BS that car right there they'd be asking somewhere in the neighborhood of a hundred k I'm not even exaggerating it's a nationwide joint they just opened in like the last eight months , put up a huge showroom and six bay huge bay garage
The engine has been balanced u can tell it has a drone to it while. Its idleing
If I wasn't financially embarrassed Id buy that, its so nice..
One of my other favorites.
Gorgeous chevelle! Nice 1 Nick!💪💪✌✌
Sounds sick! Love color. .sweet car
My car of choice would be the Chevelle 1966-1970. It would have to be a convertible, in "midnight blue", with possi rear end, 4speed Munsie trans, 396 c.i., black interior, and everything correct. By that I mean numbers don't have to match. Just as long as everything matches originality i.e, turn signal lenses being yellow instead white or rally wheels instead of cragers. I don't understand the value people place on numbers matching. It's like having a replica of a Rembrandt in your living room instead of the original. You can still enjoy the art work. Without paying millions $.
That's my dream car.
LOVE IT‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️
💘 at first sight.
Was hopin nick ud let loose on this chevelle a lil bit wanted to see if the kick down was hooked up or not but all in all great video
Beautiful car!! Thing has a good sound to it.
That's a nice Chevelle
Nice ride
A radio and a/c would only distract from that exhaust note and gear whine nice car
Nick you are shifting better now , its all about RPM shifting quick not waiting to long as it can make for rough shifting :)
Really it’s about learning each cars ways. I’ve been driving stick since I was 12. My father made sure my first car was a stick thats all I drove for years. Each car has a different setup and you have to learn as you go. Thanks for watching
Nice one but a little curious about the rocker pinch welds. Good day.
I'm in love!!❤❤😎😎👍👍🙆♂️🙆♂️
Sharpe ride may be interested
Pretty darned nice ol' Chevelle, for sure! But c'mon Nick, you've gotta learn how to drive a 'stick' car. It's driving us car guys crazy watching you continuously throwing that shifter into neutral every time you take your foot off the gas. You just don't drive a stick that way. Either leave the trans in gear, or downshift to a lower gear as your speed decreases, or as you approach a stop. Go get 'em, Nick! We love your test drives!
Stand on it!
Flowmasters FTW
Very nice
Wished that you would have done a big smokey burn out.
Oh Very nice
Georgous
You would think with all that money spent on panel & paint etc.they always neglect speedo ,radio, horn, wipers.
Most go broke after a build like this unless they have no kids or young most stop at certain point and loose car cause of financial set backs I seen so many builds go to others to enjoy and finish..money comes and goes unless your multi millionaire
Small Fry. Spaulding yes I can see what you mean.i prefer the patina look so you can see what your buying.
Badsss Ride
Hey Nick! What's up with the Notchback Fox Body in the handicapped spot out front?
For sale?
Ya buddy~
Please let me know when you receive another 66-67.
Sounds rowdy.
I saw a notch 5.0 in the background. You doing a video on that one?
Next week
❤️ 66
How do you mount the camera?
I would be curious to know which 396 it is and the rear end gear ratio. Slobbering over this and many others. Dangerous for me being a Nashvillian. It wouldn't be the first time I did something stupid.
That's A Good Nasty! 😅🤯🤣
I thought this one had a Hold On it??? I was TRYING to Poop 38K But it Ain't happening
Yeah, I even tried a laxative and prune juice. No luck either.
@@agentorange2554 I went as far as to Fill out the Loan page online and tried to Send it in....When I Clicked Send.....It came back and said Error......I did not re fill the app..I took it as a Sign and went and sat in the yard!! LMAO
I'm showing it to my wife, she needs a new car haha!
@@MidiPunk Good LUCK!!!! I Showed it to My Bank Account......It's STILL Laughing
Y'all got any third gen camaro's?

1day i will be calling you to finance a 66ss 396 0r 427 chevelle just like that one i saw dualexhaust hardtop vinyl
Is this a 325, 350 or 375. Hp
What size tires and rims please
Can't believe you would buy a car with no oil pressure gauge working
Wait a min..whose chevelle is that in the beginning.?
What HP is the 396- 325, 360,375
If sex sounded like an idle, that would be it!👍
$20 k.... and you got a deal! :)
I was thinking $18k
Take $30,000 cash if numbers check out?
No thanks , thats less than we paid, we Already sold for asking price anyway. Thanks for watching
Hooooooooly cow!
Drool drool drooool
How can you bring these back to the lot and just sell them nick? Your so insensitive lmao that car is $o sweet.
*SQUARE body Silverado 73-87 is a better investment Blazers 4x4's and others. These cars are 50 years old like a model T now*
*$40,000 for a car that cost $2200 brand new and some uninsured person will crash into it - NO thanks!! buy a TRUCK*
That is definitely something to think about for sure!!
@@adriantomlin2902 Trucks hold value these cars were neat back when they were 20 years old but 50 forget it. Chevy square body Silverados are a WAY better investment and 100% better.
Just sad when us Boomers die off so will these cars they won’t be worth anything
I would have to disagree , I am a newer generation and know plenty of people my age that love these cars
@@MapleMotorsNickSouthgate Thank God for that. Keep those kids off that dub crap too! Lol
PRS McCarty 594 Black Gold burst 10 top out of a Mesa mark V 25.
