Wow this is my favorite years and my favorite car's 1966 Chevelle, definitely brings back memories, beautiful car 4 speed 396 that would sure make someone a nice Christmas present 🎁
My brother has a 1967 Chevelle stored in our mothers garage. It was a sweet looking & sounding car back in the day. Now it just sits there in pieces. It still runs & sounds good.
Even though the ‘70 Chevelle is my all time favorite car, for $2,000 more, you’re getting a lot more car for your money with this ‘66. Both beautiful cars!!!
I never get tired of watching your inventory is great
Thank you
Looks great in pictures but those flaws in camera just imagine in person great job with camera and tour.
Guy I worked with had one but is was blue 396 /375 hp. Sat in hay barn for 45 yrs. He sold it last year for 10 grand !! It cranked up and ran.
Very nice. 402’s were put in trucks back then. I’ve bought a couple of them and swapped out small blocks with them. They were cheap $350 😎
There was also a good size spot on the floor pan where its starting to get at the metal. if I was the guy who bought this take care of those spots on the trunk pan and floor pan, throw on a Holley EFI or any kind of EFI it will be the best 1K you ever spent for you classic muscle car... Throw in a stage 1 suspension and lowering kit and take care of the small stuff. This was a decent little car for the money
My all time dream car - '66 Chevelle !! Won't last long. Guaranteed.
Sweet ride, sorry it sold so fast for me, but great 👍 for Maple Motors.Nick you keep hitting homeruns, keep up the good work. Maple Motors is a great 😃 place to get a classic muscle 💪 car.
Great year and body style. My mom had a ‘66 with a 307. This one needs white letter tires and pinstripes.
Jerry Taylor , the small block 307 is actually a 283 block with a 327 crank ,
I have 2 of these engines and three 66 Chevelle cars
Nice 66!! Excellent shape!! Only needs minor things to be 100%
All I want 4 Christmas is a 1966 chevelle! She so pretty!💖
I got Three 66 Chevelle cars ,
2 are real 138 Super Sport cars and 1 is a 136 Malibu
This is my favorite yr as well ..I was born that same yr so I'd like have it myself ..also I don't to many novas like 67 through 73b..I myself love novas and had a few ..love to see a couple 4 sale at ur lot ..
Love the colour ❤️ she sure looks sweet ❤️ sounds great 👍 great seeing you Dad 🙏 🇺🇸 🇬🇧
My favorite year also. But I didn't remember the hood that way.
If only there were real Christmas miracles......I would have that car for Christmas........ 🎄
Yes. I would love to have this machine. A beauty!
Hello Nick. Been a while thank you and bless you and your family and friends. Still looking 4 ward to b there in person. All the cars are amazing. "Horn work?".... Merry Holidays......
Very beautiful amazing car beautiful colours thanks Nick have a very nice day mate
My 1972 Chevelle has a 402(396 when checking #). 😎
Not sure if its true but I remember 402s were a bunch of 396s that got the bores ruined so rather than throw them out 402s were born. would explain the numbers.
Always wanted a car from my birth year and this would be it!
I paid $250 for a Maroon 66 Malibu sport coupe, original paint except the hood - had a SS hood. Perfect interior and only 70,000 miles. Ok, so it was 1974 and my first car but still I think it was an ok deal.
The 66 Chevelle Super Sport did NOT come from the factory with power steering or power brakes ,
But she looks great
Your Pops looks about my age. I used to call my father Pop.
Afternoon My Good Little Bro Nick Southgate Sir Of Maple Motors
Hey that's a cool ride and a great family.
1 car I never owned. Very good looker!
Nice car beautiful. 396 is a 402
Seats 💺 are amazing 👏 😍
Wow it sounds good nick n runs good I almost bought a 65 some years ago
Thats a beauty nick.my favorite chevelle body style. If i were only at my house still id be interested. Hope yall had a great thanksgiving!
That little backfire is probably the plastic timing chain gear teeth crapping their pants slipping time.
Man!!!! I wish my money tree would hurry up and sprout me a few hundred dollar bills! When it flowers, I'm coming to get my dream car!!! This is a nice one but, need an automatic, so I'll have to settle for a '71 Chevelle SS! Dear, Santa!!! 🎅
That's what I'm talking about and it's a 4 speed wow 396 win win
Rims look great 👍
This is Joseph in Arkansas welcome back hope u had a nice thanksgiving
damn i love vinyl top muscle cars
Good morning Nick, hope you guys had a great Thanksgiving. Stay safe my friend 🙏
Thanks, you too!
Nick.. nice 66.. What can u tell us about the green bus in the background? I've seen it in some of your other videos...
I like the 67 front end better. But, that aside, cool car. I would have lowered it about an inch or so in the rear. And, painted it Cortez Silver or that ice blue they came. To each his own.
Love it so much. Such a beautiful car!
Nice Nick that is a very nice car
Do you ever have any 1966 396 Chevells that need to be restored for sale?
Must be Chevelle Monday @ Maple Motors 3 videos in row tough choice for someone choose one with good prices too.
Thank you
Most work junior done all day
Nick, being a car dude, I would have thought that you would have known about how Chevrolet came about the 396 cubic inch number for those engines. They are actually a 402, but for insurance purposes, they labeled the engines a 396, for themselves and for the buyers of their automobiles. BUT, later on, they decided to just forego the numbers and said the heck with the insurance companies and went with even bigger cubic inches like the 427 & the 454. Yes, they had the 409 in earlier Impalas, but back then it wasn't a very high horsepower engine. Anyway, that's about all I wanted to say about that.
Great show like always, thank you.
OH ! If at all possible, could you Please let me know the price on the 60 Chevrolet Station Wagon? Thanks Brother
Much love to you and the family.
I had a 68 Firebird 400 with the big block engine. Do you know if it’s similar to the 396?
@@morecowbell69 thanks
My dream car!!
I'm interested in your 66 chevelle how do I get a hold of you to get more information
One nice '66 .......................... 👍👍👍
Thanks 👍
Hi what color is that on this chevelle
Beautiful car
About one best looking cars on lot
Great looking car
Absolutely badass 😎
When America was America
I’m wondering if that’s an L78 option with the four speed , I think those were only available in 66 and that’s the 375 hp option if I remember correctly , if so that’s a rarer option
It's a mailbu not a real SS highly doubt it's a L78 but very nice car
I really like that !!
How does people who drove these cars do it with out wipers ,horn and other things not working?
Actually Chevy made some 396 that is actually a 402 but they chose to keep the 396 badge
So the block would come back as a 396
The 396 is a 402
yes
$31900 how do you come up with prices conditions should reflect price
They do perfectly, thats why they sell so fast. Thanks
Love the car. However my opinion it’s a little to tall for me. But that’s me.
😎
Someday
If there are obvious and detectable defects. That takes away from the sale of a vehicle. Just saying. But anyway.
Taken into consideration and priced accordingly. If all was right we would significantly raise the price. Thanks for watching
I'd like to retire with that car.
Mmmmm
little high for everything that don't work on the car, it's not a ss car.
Actually low compared to the market, prolly why it sold so fast.
Special delivery to me please
Gutsy sounding engine and tight smooth shifting as well..
Nice ride for the $$$ ...
Thanks 👍
Man I love your videos This car though... I'm sorry. The quality of the build is awful. The rust bubbles already popping. The hack job in the trunk line under the glass.
I appreciate your details and have really enjoyed your content but I'd have to spend $25k-30k extra to get it to where it might be worth $38,000. A bondo slinger special.
This is one of those where they strip it back down on TV and find a hot mess. If I had to guess, most of your viewers aren't watching the end of this video. The body lines, waves, misaligned panels and rust bubbles all indicate a horrible builder. No speedo, gas Guage, wiper and I won the horn bet... the builder of this car should get another line of work.
On another note, I like the content you give to promote area small businesses. When we travel we look for the places to eat (non franchise, mom and pop) and all things we'd see while there. I watch Dennis Collins alot too.
You could probably monetize that advertising a bit as well. We'd come see you then grab a bite at the places you point out. Watch a few of the Coffee Walks that Dennis does.
Keep them coming! Good luck with the sale!
Already sold , thanks for watching
@@MapleMotorsNickSouthgate awesome. Its comforting to know you reveal everything possibly wrong. I could hear it in your voice when you went over the problems. I haven't seen that much bondo in a long time. At least they know what they got.
There was also a good size spot on the floor pan where its starting to get at the metal. if I was the guy who bought this take care of those spots on the trunk pan and floor pan, throw on a Holley EFI or any kind of EFI it will be the best 1K you ever spent for you classic muscle car...
