Probably one of the best title intros,I remember as a kid, and undoubtedly one of the most underrated actors in the industry at the time. Billy Chong is the best. The voice overs in this one is fantastic, very memorable.

They never get old and my kids love watching them too.
I grew up watching these movies with my dad on VHS and they are the reason why I love martial arts, and now I am making the same memories with my kids.
I really wish they would come out with movies like this today without flying all over the place. I loved this movie from beginning to end. Especially the last fight scene.

This is movie was 'Billy Chong' acting debute in Hongkong, before he decide to move into Indonesia movie industry and change his name to 'Willy Dozan'. From 'Billy' to 'Willy', this seem feel not to far of a name change isn't it? Hehe

But the well known music of that cut is to the point! The father of the child is a well known underrated fighter like Chong himself! But when the child is bitting the well known actor to be blind you MUST notice the choreography which is very realistic: taking the child with the right hand and hit with the left, the father stop that motion of the hand with his foot and kicking the eye then jump on the other side to avoid the enemy coming on his back and blind the other eye!! That's top!!! As far as the deaf one it is the rolling arms followed by the lock and the punch in the EAR's hole with the other arm!! Wang cheng lee used that technique a lot!!! That's was great!! And the eagle's claw was to tear the shoulder then the arms, then the ribs and the scratch on the face!!! That was VERY nasty for sure!!! That is why he said: " damn you!!! One of these days I'm gonna get youuuu chennnnng!!!!" Very top class and realistic here for sure !! Not like the Jet li or Donny yeng that is VERY well choreographed but NOT realistic in a real fight!!!... Ok now HAVE a nice one and sorry for the length of the comment!! And "" your teacher was no good the old idiot" but he was very wrong there!!!!...😷😷😎👍👍👍👍👍!.......
I'm far older now and I grew up watching many of these movies as a kid, and because of that I actually began to learn more about all the different weapons and various things concerning Martial Arts all throughout my own life and discovered many different and far more factual things behind the history,philosophy, exercising,training and various types of Equipment needed along with many highly skilled Martial Arts Master's that are now legendary and were real people who actually lived to share their own experiences in their own lives and shared what they could as a result.

However, those performers 📽️ were just as skill as any Chinese actor who ever appeared in any martial arts themed 📽️ including may I dare say Bruce Lee & Jackie Chan!! Billy Chong's charisma & acting was Box Office ✨ magic✨ around the 🌍 I believe because when his 📽️ films was at theaters I went to... Always Sold Out..As his nickname says "The Bruce Lee of the 80s"

Had this on VHS as a kid. Never saw the ending (i'm talking the last 20 seconds) as my dad recorded over it with the Blues brothers. 33 years on this film still looks amazing!!

I remember when I first saw this. I'm from Oakland California and we had 2 theaters specifically for kung fury movies. Boy it was Some great Saturdays. I was born in 65. Finally went to see them on my own I was around 11 or 12. Billy chong is an awesome fighter. I believe he's still alive.

The old man is suppose to be Begger Su, one of the best martial arts practioners of all time. There is a story to him.....watch the movie call True Legend. He is in alot of kung fu movies of the 70's and early 80's. The actor is Yuen Woo Ping's father. YWP is a famous kung fu fight choreographer.
I have seen many restaurants destroyed in WUSHU. This was the first time I have seen one repaired. Great fight scenes. Nice comical moments. Definitely going on my watch again list.

I've seen many a restaurant destroyed in kung fu movies, but an instructor in a wushu gym would be greatly insulted if a student did something so foolish in reality.

But the whole of the movie is top fighting with Billy Chong who was the BEST of his time for sure! A wang whoping to flick and box office hit for years!!! Billy Chong alias Willy Dozan is a very capable actor, and is equal to Jackie Chen and Andy Lau. We as Indonesians are very proud of him. Unfortunately Billy Chong ended his career because of rumors of threats he got from the State Mafia where he started his career as an actor, at a time when his career was developing. So he decided to return to Indonesia and continue his career in Indonesia, because he didn't want to take a risk.

Of all the Kung Fu "Cinder -fella " movies ( young poor underachieving men who's affiliated with a kung fu school) Billy Chong's Crystal Fist & Jackie Chan's Snake in Eagle's Shadow are the best & the Old Kung Fu Grandmaster disguise as a hobo trained both fellas where even the 2 🦅are different sides of the stories. Billy's 🦅is the hero style & Jackie's 🦅 is the villian style.

RIP to the Drunken-Master Simon Yuen. A few of his son played in movies together. One of his real sons played in drunken master 2 with him. He played froggy. And three of them played in drunken Ti chi with Donny Yen. One played played Donny Yens brother. The other played the killer. And the old Drunken TI CHI Master with the fat wife. Is his older son.
