I dunno unfortunately. :S I remember noticing that the weapons had a very slight color variations early in the game, and I never was able to obtain them again. :O Except for the Ninja Sword. Those can be found every now and then. Unless you are talking about clothing. o.o For clothing just beat the story or bond mission that originally rewarded the clothes, but this time on Midnight Mode. You'll notice you are rewarded an alternate color clothing upon completion. :3
And vastly deeper combat. Vastly more interesting characters, the majority of which you can even play as, with unique moves and movesets to boot. And the ability to skip dialogue/cutscenes on your first playthrough, which should've just been a given in literally every game since the ps360 era.
Ghost could be so much greater if only the developers actually gave a damn anymore. They arent doing ANYTHING with the game. No customization and no new combat. No hair and beard styles either.
I don’t even get why there’s even beef between em. I loved and platinumed both games. If anything NOBODY should get that upcoming Assassin’s Creed game that’s gonna be in Japan. When even Japanese people are disliking the game already you know it’s bad. Btw y’all can look this up the main guy who is an expert in the history regarding Yasuke been outed as a 🧢🧢🧢er. He switch up how he writes about the dude based on his audience too. Yasuke is definitely real but most that stuff out there about him might as well be fan fiction. And before somebody come in here screaming racist the real racist are Ubisoft, playing rap music while showcasing Yasuke and not featuring a full Japanese cast in their first Japanese AC. If anything they shoulda had Yasuke in a second or third game that takes place in Japan. Not the very first one 💀
RotR has the most customization in outfits than literally ANY game I can think of lmao The amount of small details you can customize is absolutely insane, and it’s so fun mixing and matching stuff to make your own combination of clothing pieces. Do wish you could wear masks AND hats tho, or recolor certain things like the different kasas
The amount of time this must have taken you… big props for making this, it’s absolutely insane the amount of different outfit and weapon visuals there are. Like, I have nearly 200 hours in the game and there are still new visuals I discover from time to time 🤣
Yeah. You can pick parts of other outfits and use them on other outfits. Kinda cool. :O Sadly not all outfits have that option but it is something. xD I think it could go to PC. It doesn't say 'exclusive/only on Playstation' on the box. I don't know how long you will have to wait though. :O I mean, Nioh and Wo Long were on PC at one point. Who knows? Maybe they might not do it this time...
Haven't played much game apparently black desert, Xenoblade 1 and X, a loot of old online ones, etc have these or more, I think these one even is bad in regards for females, see it a female character, but most of the clothes are malr oriented, for example you have colonial ones and they are all male
I'm just going to add this here to help answer most questions if you stumble on this comment. :3 Okay, character specific clothing you can get in either a story quest relating to them or their bond missions as a mission reward. Don't mistaken it as a random reward. You will literally see the outfit or weapon in the reward details. :O If there is an alternative variant of that outfit, you can get that color by doing the same EXCEPT you have to finish that story mission or bond mission on Midnight Mode. Yes, only on Midnight difficulty. :S Non-character specific outfits or gear you can find from traders, chests, or activities. It really varies. o.o (edit) Some clothes are REDESIGN only! (edit) (edit) I did not keep notes of where I found the clothing, weapon, or armor. o.o' (edit) (edit) So it will all be based on my memory sorry. ;_; (edit) (edit2) If your stuff doesn't appear in Redesign despite it being in your inventory... SAVE YOUR GAME (NOT AUTOSAVE. DO MANUAL SAVE) before attempting in case something goes wrong then go to any shop and SELL the stuff that wasn't registered, and then BUY IT BACK but don't exit the menu if you didn't buy it back yet otherwise you will LOSE IT FOREVER if it was a one time mission reward. After that it should re-register in your Redesign hopefully. :O (edit2) I hope this answers your question. If this comment doesn't help, feel free to ask where to find whatever you are looking for and I may, emphasis on may, know where it is. :3
Thank you so much for all the details. I love Ronin, my GOTY this year, but I have to admit I'm a bit disappointed with the number of outfits. Especially for Samurai armor, which is really scarce, including the headpieces. What puzzles me in particular is that there are many models in the game, like many Shinsengumi armors, that cannot be obtained. For example, I love Toshizo Hijikata's armor and I'm really sad it isn't obtainable. I hope they include them in future patches because the models are already there. It's a really strange choice."
Where did that fellow go asking about Hajime's sword? o.o I mistaken two different characters with one another. Whoops. Sorry. I was going to get back to you. x.x' I guess for anyone else asking... you can get the Shinsengumi member weapons such as Kondo and Okita as examples. So you can probably obtain Hajime's katana. From their bond mission of course. :3 Unfortunately I don't quite remember which one is his sword... O.o' I'll check later in game by reading the sword descriptions..
I’m sorry this took so long but for those wondering about the fireproof gauntlets… It is a story mission reward for Ikeda Inn Incident. I can only confirm for Anti-Shogunate at least. Non-Midnight Mode. :O If you didn’t receive it… You might have accidentally sold or dismantled it. o.o If you don’t see it in Redesign… I dunno what you can do. D:
I think the Pleasure District Flower Kimono was a quest reward involving Taka either story or from her bond mission and that it can also be bought from a Trader in the city. Alternative color probably the dark one is either her story or bond mission on Midnight Mode. :O Same for the Edoite Fusion clothes, but can't be bought from a Trader. Either it is Katsu's story or bond mission that rewards the blue one, and the black one is the same but on Midnight Mode. :O Well, I think you can get it from a Trader at Katsu's Estate, but that option is only if you have obtained it already. Other characters clothes especially Pro-Shogunate can be bought here in case you accidentally sell or lose their clothes or weapons. xD
Flying Squirrel Ninja Garb is from getting master rank in Glider Training. I think the Kyoto region. :O The original color the character wears is most likely from his bond quest on Midnight Mode. The bond quest is called 'The Watchman'.
@@hwaitinghoshino I now have a couple of new videos covering the stuff I missed in this video if you need any of that stuff since I can't update this video of course. :3 As always use whatever you need and good luck. :)
You buy it from the Alexandria lady in the botanical garden after finishing the Morning Glory Flower quest. I think the brown one is by finishing that bond mission on Midnight Mode. I hope that answers your question. :O
The Stage Hands Cowl is from a hidden secret boss in the overworld who is wearing the Stage Hand clothing set as well. :O I don't remember which region though. o.o' There are 3 in each region and they are near giant trees with white ribbons. :O
Where do you get the Galvanizing saber from? @30:23 I completed the story and finished all side quests and 100% most regions. Still haven't found that saber yet. Is it midnight mode exclusive?
@@yunitasparks1097 Ahh I figured as much, it would be locked behind that. I never bothered to gamble once except for that one mission that required you to play one round. I guess I will have to start doing that gambling trick of save scumming to get it then. Thanks for telling me where it is.
I have a question. The torso set is every set piece? And we can change every single piece of gear for fashion? Like having a western top but have japanese outerwear and have hakama pants?
Yes, as if they were equipped in your chest piece. :3 Not every piece, but most you can configure what coat, garment, belt, or skirt you want to mix and match. :O Yes, you can mix and match Western and Japanese styles if the top allows for it. :3
How do you get the really blue Blue Demon Garb? Ive sparred Li, did the watchmen, but got a dark version of the Blue Demon. Ive been looking every where but no answers so far
Have you finish the bond mission on Midnight Mode? :O You get a different color outfit as mission rewards on Midnight Mode unfortunately. :S One of the few things locked behind Midnight difficulty including Ally Missions. o.o
Alright one thing that seriously bothered me is that the “ruthless samurai” undergarment wasn’t compatible with the leader and ruffian half kimono. It makes no sense why when the other kimonos work just fine. Also another thing that was kinda disappointing was how black the cursed blade is. It’s the most unique looking blade in the game but most of the time you can’t see it’s unique hamon (clay markings on the blade) because it’s too black. It could just be my setup but for me it was usually just a black featureless bar, it looked like one of those rubber training katanas you can buy today. It would make the sword so much better if they made it just a few shades brighter or changed the blood red color of just the edge of the blade to a polished silver like the rest of the swords in the game.
Sometimes you have to swap the base outfit for it to work. :S Redesign is weird like that so try wearing the Ruthless Samuari clothes first while trying to put on the half kimono on or vice versa if you have done it this way already. xD Now if that doesn’t work then yeah it isn’t compatible at all sadly. x.x They could make some blades slightly bluish, silver, gray, maybe golden orange or even black but speckling or ripples to keep it in their realistic style is what I am hoping to see to make sword designs more interesting like the Muramasa. :O
Sekohotai Officer outfit can be bought from a Black Marketeer. :3 He is located in Edo in the Honjo region. Somewhere in the bottom right corner of the map a short distance away from a nearby Veiled Banner.
Oh, this one was a tough one. I don't remember it from memory very well. o.o' I looked through my videos to see if you can get it from a shop or something first and... I believe you can purchase this from the Sakura Inn Trader. Seems to be a Redesign only outfit. :O For reference if you need. ruclips.net/video/JpdIRqjd8-I/видео.html
In terms of really standing out only the Muramasa stands out. :S I don't recall much odd katana blades or any odd blade colorations. Other than the Muramasa, katanas come in wavy or straight patterns. Other weapon types do have some unique blades if you're not a katana main. :O
@@IsraTheBlack Oh. o.o' I do have a video where I have the blades drawn but I think they don't have much variation based on memory. ;_; The weapons that do have variation are spear, polearm, sabre, bayonet, and great sword. :O Oxtail Blades also don't have much variation either. :/
I have a problem. I have finished all the Pro Shogunate missions and the level of all the characters is complete, but my Pro Shogunate level is 4. What is the solution to reach level 5?
Buying stuff from the purple bases, random purple encounters in Kyoto, defeating green wandering ronin, and… that is all I could think of for now. :O It might take some time if you just started level 4, but halfway or just a bit left shouldn’t take long. :3
Hello. :3 The mask is obtained from a story mission later in the story and once the mission is completed it should be unlocked for use as a Redesign piece only. You’ll also receive the whole spy set too. :O The Redux version may be a Midnight only unlock if it didn’t unlock in which case you’ll have to do the same mission but on Midnight instead. :S
@ Okay that’s really interesting, the thing is I’ve actually done that mission, and I went to my longhouse to see if I got the mask but I didn’t…would it have been in a chest somewhere? If not, I think I’ll try replaying the mission and see. Thank you for your help though I greatly appreciate it!
If you don’t have the regular mask, then it might’ve not have registered properly. :S If you still have the normal mask, try selling it and the buying it back. :O If you only have the regular mask in your Redesign but not the Redux one… It may be Midnight only. :( In that case just play that same mission again but on Midnight if you are able to clear Midnight. But I believe you unlock all versions of the mask when you first obtain it so I dunno. :O
You can get the Stagehands Cowl Mask from a hidden boss in Yokohama. :O The boss should be near the Noge Veil Banner. Look for big trees with white ribbons.
I am not sure if their Shinsengumi outfit is different from the regular one but what you could be looking for is the regular Shinsengumi Soldier outfit instead of the Fake Shinsengumi outfit. The fake one has the snow pattern on it and I don't think the regular soldier one does. Could also try to swap pieces in Redesign at the long house. :O
@@yunitasparks1097 See I like the regular Shinsengumi pants, but I wish there was a solid black variant of those that had the snow pattern on it lol The fake ones are still great looking, but was hoping to be able to get ones like the named characters.
lol I mistakened that you didn't want the snow effect. xD Yeah. Only the Fake Shinsengumi Soldier outfit has that snow effect. :S Closest you gonna get. :O
Probably his bond mission. And like most NPC recolored outfits... It can only be obtained in Midnight Mode. ;-; Just do the bond mission again on Midnight if you don't have that particular colored outfit yet. :O Unfortunately no coop help for bond missions, but there is cheesy things to make it easier.
It is a mission reward. I am not sure which color is regular mode or midnight mode though. o.o' If Katsu is wearing black... I think the black version might be a midnight mode bond mission reward specially his bond mission. As I said before, usually the outfit close to the character's original outfit has a high chance of being a Midnight Mode Bond mission reward.
When I checked to see if my redesign wardrobe matches yours I noticed my last military torso set called "ribbed chest armour" is missing in your list dunno if you know, just a heads up…
I have been trying to get it on and off for the past few months but unfortunately I haven’t been able to get it to drop. :S Apparently no one knows where to get it.. o.o With few leads.. I tried Lifelong Vow maybe 30-50 times and specfic random events and nothing. ;-; I think it is a Midnight Mode only reward since I did start a new playthrough in normal mode only and nothing either. x.x But thanks for letting me know. :3 I’ll probably try again when I have the free time. Maybe try each level one by one..
@@yunitasparks1097 I see, the drops in this game can be finicky and stubborn at times Took me almost 2 months to get the blue demon's knee pads (blue) I myself am looking for one color variant of the executive's silk hat, the 3rd one on your video…not having much luck either, I would appreciate help if you know where it is…and thanks for the ❤
You can get the third hat, the fancier version of the silk hat, from Robert Fortune at the Botannical Garden in Edo. :O You may or may not have to unlock him for him to sell you stuffs. I hope that helps you find what you’re looking for. :3
You should have received it after finishing the mission where you spy on the Shinsengumi as a fake solider in Act 3. :O It is either in your inventory, in Redesign, or for whatever reason it did not register in Redesign and you accidentally sold/disassembled the armor pieces. o.o' To get another Spy set which includes the mask if it didn't register in Redesign, you can get another set by playing the same mission but in Midnight Mode if you decide to make the game harder. :O Otherwise I am not sure where you can get another spy mask if you decide not to get it on Midnight Mode besides helping or defeating other player's Ronins wearing the spy mask and hoping you receive it as a reward. x.x
Mibu Wolf armor is most likely from Okita's bond mission. :O You'll also receive the gloves and the foot wear too. (Sorry for duplicated reply. I am not sure if my original reply is showing up or not)
Where did you get the White asectic outfit from? I killed the boss who drops the original version on midnight for the first time but he dropped the blue one, so I killed him on twilight but he still dropped the blue one. Also where do yoy get the shoka sonjuku finest armor from?
Oh. Now that one is difficult to remember. O.o I think I might've gotten the White Asectic outfit from a chest marked on the map. Dunno where though. x.x Shoka Sonjuku Finest outfit is probably from Genzui's bond mission. I think you receive a green rarity version for some reason. Keep that in mind if you want to use it since you will have to farm gold or red rarities. :O
You can set the lighting when selecting R2 additional options. :O I forgot to do that in this video since I was used to the dark background. xD You can set 3 lighting modes. :3
Unfortunately the only way to get them is by playing the Midnight mode. Usually the last bond mission that character has and that bond mission is around level 80-99. ;_; If the bond mission has a difficult encounter, I suggest eating those super pills and having ki blaze ready. And be sure to be the right level or preferably level 100 for both character and equipment level (equipment can go to level 110).
@@truespeedsonic78 If you need some cheese, then using that one dual blade style (Niten I think and I believe it is Genzui's fighting style) that sets the floor on fire with paralysis weapon buff melts bosses quickly or Kogoro's bamboo cutting attack (R1-square) and R1-cross move (uncharged) (especially if they move around a lot) can build up paralysis status quickly to finish them off with a revolver finisher (does a lot of damage). I personally prefer Shinto Munen Ryu since I main that style after all although I switch between the high stances like Aisu Kage Ryu and that one Setsuna retainer's katana fighting style. Crimson Light for Aisu Kage is really good for inflicting panic (although consumes all your blood gauge) which allows for free hits since the foe will stun from every hit until panic runs out. :O
Hmm.. The Pleasure District Flower Hat... I think it was a reward from Taka's bond mission for saving her. :O Yes, it can be worn on male characters. :3
@@yunitasparks1097I only got the blue one. How do I get the grey one too? I just got to the part in story where she is killed so before I continue, I want to make sure I’m not leaving this hat behind and won’t be able to get it after. I can’t find any guide on how to obtain it anywhere👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Oh, are you still on your first playthrough? :O You should've received her outfit and hat in one color, and the other color... You can only get that when finishing the game and playing the same mission that rewarded her outfit before but this time on Midnight Mode. :O If you somehow discarded the hat... I think you maybe able to buy it again from a faction vendor but they don't sell everything. Or you can wear it in Redesign at the Longhouse. :S If you don't have the hat, check the Redesign at the Longhouse or perhaps the hat was an award for her last bond mission. If from her last bond mission, you can do it if you missed it by using the Testament of Souls. :O
@@yunitasparks1097 I finally got it but for some reason it isn’t showing up in the redesign menu so it’s not letting me wear it with other outfits. It’s not showing up like in your video, just the first one is showing up.
@@TrippyStefTV Have you also done the 'A Light In Darkness' quest on Midnight Mode? :O This quest, but on Midnight only: ruclips.net/video/UWvK66pkOYU/видео.html That is where you should get the alternate color of the hat, and also the kimono as well since the quest rewards both. :O Unfortunately there is no other way to get that color of the hat if Midnight mode is not your thing. ;_;
The Black Marketeer in Edo, Honjo region sells the Sekohotai Officer outfit. :3 I think he was somewhere in the lower right corner of the region to narrow down the search. There is a Veiled Edge banner nearby too. :O
You get them from various Traders around the cities. Not all of the however. :O The shops are marked by small ship and they can sell eye accessories and ear accessories in addition to other stuff for silver.
The alternate color for the Regiment set including the hat is from a story mission on Midnight Mode. :O Regular color is from level 4 bond with Jules Brunet. :3 I don’t quite know which color is what so I listed both. o.o
@@exequiellopez4024 When you finish the game you will unlock a new mode called Midnight Mode that you can access at your Longhouse. :O Basically all missions are made harder and offer different rewards, and the open world content also resets and also made harder. :O
Sakura Inn Anti-Shogunate Trader in Yokohama sells that particular Kiheitai variant. One with the white pants and engravings. :O I am not sure if you need Anti-Shogunate bond levels to see the outfit. :S
I think you can get the Spectacles Pattern from a Trader in Edo. Kinda hard to tell since I already purchased it but the lens look darkened to me. :O If not, look around for Traders marked by a small ship icon. Eye accessories can mostly be bought from them. :O
Her bond mission on Midnight Mode. The one that kinda looks like she is already wearing yes? :O That will be a reward from her bond mission on Midnight. Most outfits that resemble what the actual character is wearing are most likely bond mission rewards on Midnight Mode.
Without the metal thing? Should be on first run. :O You do get a masterwork set on Midnight. So it could be Midnight only. :S It might’ve not registered properly for some reason too. Try selling it and buying it back. Be sure to manually save before trying so you don’t lose it accidentally. o.o
The red version is on default run. :O Blue version is on Midnight but for some reason Team Ninja forgot to reward the Blue Demon legs too. o.o You have to farm missions with Blue Demon on Midnight to get the Blue Demon legs to drop. D:

I guess if you are curious what is in the game as well. :O

I believe you get the outfit from the Gambling Den. :3 I am not sure which one as they have slightly different rewards in each region. o.o' There are only three Gambling Dens so it shouldn't take long to explore. :3
You get it in the bond mission involving the bankrupt merchant. :O I am not sure if it is an actual armor set or if it is cosmetic only. If that is the case, the clothing should only appear in Redesign which is the case for a few other clothing as well. :O Can also check mission list in menu to double check rewards, but may have to switch difficulty to see normal rewards.
@@yunitasparks1097 weird it wasn't in my redesigns when i made this comment, then i just checked and it was there. i did that mission in midnight mode after i made the comment but didn't see it in my rewards so i didn't notice. thanks for the response anyhow
I did a quick check in my inventory and the clothing doesn't exist actual armor. From princess Atsuko’s bond quest. :O Has Resolute or Resolution in the quest title. Brown one is the typical reward but the red version is only on Midnight Mode. :O
If the options are greyed out then it is not possible. :S It will be one of the few clothing sets that can’t be mixed and matched like the Blue Demon and Poison Specialist sets for example. :O
I am not sure what Izo wears but the Ruthless Samurai outift is obtained from Ryoma's bond mission. The alternate color is also obtained from the same mission but it has to be on Midnight Mode. :O
You can get the First Class Consul's suit from a story mission called 'Take Back Hongakuji Temple' on Midnight Mode. I think you can get the other color on the same mission but on normal mode (dawn, dusk, twilight) and if that is not the case maybe a bond mission? :O The Regiment armor you can get from Jules as a reward at his level 4 bond, and the alternate color can be received from a story mission called 'Smoke Powder at the Castle' on Midnight mode. I hope that helps. :3

Oh my gawd. I just realized my mistake. o.o' I mean, lower right corner and to the right. Not the left. O: Sorry about that. :3 I guess I'm just clumsy for today. x.x
Now I don't know specifically which Trader sells the Prince Nez glasses since a good amount of Traders sell eye accessories but you're on the right track. :O On your map, the icon with the small ship icon is the one you want to look for. Those shops sell stuff like eye and ear accessories in addition to other things like the two merchants in Yokohama for example. :O Now I am not sure if the Photogenic Studio, the Magistrate Official, and the Cat Collecting lady special shops sell stuff like that as well but it wouldn't hurt to look. :O
Now this is a tricky one since the missions that involve this fellow don't award his sword. x.x But have no fear. You can get it by levelling up Anti-Shogunate Bond to level 4. :D Masterwork version you'll have to farm the Ally Mission For Love and Swordplay, or other missions he appears in. :O
You can get a variety of glasses from Traders. :3 Costs lots of silver though. :O You can get silver by Co-op in Midnight Mode where you can get between 5 to 15 silver. The dog gives 10 if you pay it 10000 gold. :O
Oh, you mean to put on glasses? xD I see you have figured it out. :3 For the folks in the back... Press square to remove your head piece and then you can wear glasses. :O Only some head gear can be worn together with glasses if you still want to wear something on your head. :O
I think this might be a random drop for the last third of the game and after or during the story quest with the four arsonists. Or it can also be dropped by characters wearing it like the flamethrower man in the Ikeda Inn story mission when playing as Pro-shogunate. :O
The Revolutionist Outfit and Hat can be bought from a Black Marketeer in Edo. :O I think this particular merchant is located somewhere north west. I am not sure if he is chilling on the road or if you have to clear a public disorder for him to appear. :S
They can be found when fighting Denshutai Soldiers. :O I think the chance is very low since I only found like three of those boots. o.o The soldiers are Japanese and they wear a light pale blue uniform. :O Maybe there are some in The Battle of Toba Fushimi (Anti-Shogunate) you can farm? :S
Thank you for responding 😊 I thought I needed to farm in Chivalry of the Denshutai mission, but I was wrong. 🤔 Later I farmed in The Battle of the Toba-Fushimi (Anti-Shogunate) like you suggested, But unfortunately after 2 hours of farming the missions, I still couldn’t get it. 😥 However out of curiosity, I decided to watch a walkthrough for The Battle of the Toba-Fushimi (Pro-Shogunate) in YT, and it turned out that you can get Denshutai Soldier’s shoes in a corpse inside the burnt house near where you fight Shinpachi Nagakura and Hajime Saito if you choose (Pro-Shogunate) route. 😱 Thank you for your video too, it helped me keep track what armor I’m missing. 🙂↕️
Ah. So it was The Battle of Toba Fushimi. :D Well, wrong side of course. Quite a surprise. o.o Close enough though. :3 x.x Thanks for letting everyone know so they don’t have to go through it. I’m happy you found it. :) Battle of Toba Fushimi Pro-Shogunate route for those who are reading. :O
You can get the shoes from a Trader in Chinatown in Yokohama. It is close to the longhouse somewhere south east. :O Should be a big red wooden gate in view and a bunch of Chinese people.
I believe it is a Redesign only variant of the Warrior's Headband. :O The first two are in my inventory. Purple can be purchased somewhere and the tan can only be found in a treasure chest one time only. :3 The third I remember buying it from a Trader or a special merchant like the Offical, Cat Lady, or the Photostudio. Possibly from Yokohama maybe Edo, but not Kyoto I am sure. :O
Dome one? :O Or Crescent? o.o I think you can buy both from a shop somewhere. I do remember at least one was sold. Most likely the Crescent one though. :3 If not, then it is looted somewhere either from a one time drop in a story mission or randomly from the general loot pool. :O
After looking through my shop video… Good news. :D You can find a green rarity Crescent Kasa from a Blacksmith in Yokohama. :3 I think the fellow is located near the port of the city. :O
You can get this set from a hidden boss in one of the three regions. There are 3 in each region. :3 (edit) I'll look at my hidden boss locations video to update the list for you. :3 (edit) (edit) The boss is located somewhere in Yokohama! Use Noge Veiled Banner then head north along the shoreline. Be sure to look out for the giant tree with ribbons on it. :D (edit) I don't know which one specifically however.. since the bosses are unmarked on the map so you will need a guide to find them or be on the look out for clues (big tree with ribbons). o.o From the top of my head. Yokohama (Bayonet Man (bayonet), (edit) Stagehand Woman (spear), (edit) Rebel Man (katana)) Edo (Kabuki Man (greatsword), Samurai Man (katana), (edit) Demon Woman (katana)) Kyoto (Ninja Man (katana), Chinese Man (oxtail), (edit) Old Man (hands)) -Stagehand Woman (spear) (Edo?), Demon Woman (katana) (Yokohama?), Old Man (hands) (Kyoto?), and ??? are the ones I don't quite remember where they are located. x.x- -If I were to guess, I have a feeling the Stagehand boss might be in Edo. Near the top of the map near the pleasure district down south east of the river since I know for sure where the Kabuki and Samurai man are located. :O-
Okay, spoilers after 3 set of 3 dots. So stop reading before. :O Starting now. ... ... ... You spare your blade twin to receive this armor. May or may not have to save Ryoma's life. Blue one is also automatically rewarded but as a redesign only.
i played on way of samurai 4 and ukiyo no roushi both on ps3 severals years ago already of course i probably wrong about this details but the customization section about this game is quite limited compared to the previous one or maybe the team has planned a dlc for more contents? because honestly the customization that the game propose right now are quite poor ,even for ps5 it's still a problem to provide more contents hope to see future DLC
From Jules as a personal bond reward. I think level 4. :O Alternate color pieces are his bond mission on Midnight Mode or a story quest on Midnight Mode. Can't quite remember.. o.o'
Either story quest in Edo where you have to put out fires and take out arsonists or the fire fighter man with the big hammer spear's bond mission. :O If from his bond mission, the alternate color is from the same bond mission but on Midnight Mode.
One of the oxtail blades has a darkened blade stained black with blood. But muramasa is one of the only ones that has such a drastically unrealistic look. Everything else in the game is historically accurate. The elite ninja blade tho is a cool Easter egg and guan yu crescent blade was actually in wo long used by Guan Yu
I think you get the blue version of the Shinobi Garb from a secret boss in Kyoto (I think??? There are 3 in each region). :O There are three locations and one of those bosses is literally a head ninja master. xD A big tree with white bands and ribbons is your first clue that a secret boss is nearby. :O
You can buy some from the Traders located around cities. They have a small ship as their map icon. :O I think there are 6 or 7 of them (not counting ones in clan manors) and 4 of them sell eye accessories like the blindfold.
Oh my god. x.x Sorry, I forgot about replying to your question the entire time! ;_; You can get the sword by raising your bond with Kiyotaka Kuroda to level 3. :O Might have to unlock him from a side quest in Edo if he isn't on your map.
I don’t remember which color is obtained from where but you get one color from firefighter man from his level 3 or 4 bond and the other color by completing the story mission “The Chivalry of the Denshutai” on Midnight Mode. :O Although if not from that story mission then from his bond mission also only on Midnight Mode.
I think I display head protection after body protection. :O I thought that people would prefer that I cover outfit first. xD Head protection is the same for both male and female although I swapped over to a male model in a couple points in the video since the female model had her hair style blocking the view of some the wear. o.o'
You can buy them from Traders marked by a little ship icon. :O There are around 3 in each region. :3 Try Sakura Inn and Chinatown Traders in Yokohama as a start. :D
You get it from beating a secret boss somewhere on the map. :O There are 3 in each region, and they're not marked on the map. There should some giant trees nearby with white ropes or ribbions around them that hint that the hidden boss is nearby. Usually a small cave. :O
Sure. I'll do that in a bit. :O Although I already slain those goons. So it will be empty. x.x I guess it'll be a surprise if you haven't fought them yet or for new players who like to play with some guidance. :3
From what I can remember it is most likely from Katsu's bond mission if you want the blue one, and the black color you have to do the same mission but on Midnight Mode. :O It could be from the story missions involving Katsu, but besides few specific character outfits that can be obtained from story missions, 90% of the time character specific outfits are rewards from their bond missions with the alternate color being rewarded when that bond mission is instead finished on Midnight.
Unfortunately I never took notes on where I found all this stuff. x.x And for this particular weapon I don't remember where I found it. o.o I'll check around and see, but I think it could be a random drop, a treasure chest, or a mission reward. Perhaps a Black Marketeer or a Blacksmith sells it. D:
I knew it. :3 In my memory I remembered a place that sold some white colored weapons, and I didn't have to look far. O You lucky boy, you can find the Celestial Maiden Paired Swords from the Gambling Den in Edo. :D
Now I can't quite remember this but most likey from the Traders located in cities. Can't remember which Trader. x.x Traders sell cosmetics for your eyes and ears so I assume you also get the blindfold from them since it is an eye piece. :O
A dairy side quest in Kyoto. The quest will also have 'Muramasa the Cursed Blade' in its title. You get the sword as a reward after finishing this quest. You may or may not have to finish his other diary missions to unlock this quest.
@@gokusson2636 I think it is southeast from the pleasure district (as a landmark, not at the pleasure district) and then somewhere down there. There should be a small ship icon on the map if your reputation is high enough or if you have visited it before or walked by it. :O I am not good with map section names so I may not know what it is really called. o.o' Edit- It is the Honcho region of Yokohama. :3
You can find a single pair at the Yokohama American Trader. :O And you can find another single pair at the Chinatown Trader. :3 The Sakura Inn Trader sells two sets of earrings. :O These are just examples but I like the ones from the Chinatown Trader in Yokohama and the Trader at Kaishu Katsu's Estate in Edo. :3 Crystal Earrings.
They're from some Traders in cities. :O Marked with a small ship icon on the map. Not all of them sell eye wear though. For example the Chinese or American Trader, one of them, or could be both, sell glasses whether double lens or single lens. :O There is a Trader somewhere that sells eye masks and eye blindfold. I dunno which one though. o.o And to equip it once you find it... Go to Longhouse and in Rest, press Redesign. There go to Accessories but if your hat is not compatible, remove your hat or pick another hat to equip your eye accessory. :3
I think it is from Ine's bond quest. :O 'Physicians Request'. You fight two guys wearing the masks and then you get both masks when you defeat them. :3
By chance as I was giving growth items... I noticed you could receive the fox and tengu mask when you level up both the characters bond level. o.o' That is another way of obtaining thr fox and tengu masks. :3
Yup. :3 I done it a few times in the video, but all you have to do is go into the Longhouse, use the 'Rest' option, and then go into the 'Appearance'. :O There you can recreate your characters again and you can change whatever you need with either one with no consequences or limitations. :D

I dunno unfortunately. :S
I remember noticing that the weapons had a very slight color variations early in the game, and I never was able to obtain them again. :O
Except for the Ninja Sword. Those can be found every now and then.
Unless you are talking about clothing. o.o
For clothing just beat the story or bond mission that originally rewarded the clothes, but this time on Midnight Mode.
You'll notice you are rewarded an alternate color clothing upon completion. :3
Crazy to think that I dreamed about a game in this era back in 2022. Now that its here, its like a dream come true for me
Say what you will about Rise Of Ronin but at least it gives you more customization in outfits than Ghost Of Tsushima.
And vastly deeper combat.
Vastly more interesting characters, the majority of which you can even play as, with unique moves and movesets to boot.
And the ability to skip dialogue/cutscenes on your first playthrough, which should've just been a given in literally every game since the ps360 era.
@@shigfoogins9080 trueee
RotR has the most customization in outfits than literally ANY game I can think of lmao
The amount of small details you can customize is absolutely insane, and it’s so fun mixing and matching stuff to make your own combination of clothing pieces.
Do wish you could wear masks AND hats tho, or recolor certain things like the different kasas
The amount of time this must have taken you… big props for making this, it’s absolutely insane the amount of different outfit and weapon visuals there are.
Like, I have nearly 200 hours in the game and there are still new visuals I discover from time to time 🤣
Amazing. No game has such customization in all aspects, from character creation to clothing. I can't wait to play it on PC.
Yeah. You can pick parts of other outfits and use them on other outfits. Kinda cool. :O
Sadly not all outfits have that option but it is something. xD
I think it could go to PC. It doesn't say 'exclusive/only on Playstation' on the box. I don't know how long you will have to wait though. :O
I mean, Nioh and Wo Long were on PC at one point. Who knows? Maybe they might not do it this time...
@@yunitasparks1097 I think it will be released for PC in March/April 2025, like with Nioh 2.

Haven't played much game apparently black desert, Xenoblade 1 and X, a loot of old online ones, etc have these or more, I think these one even is bad in regards for females, see it a female character, but most of the clothes are malr oriented, for example you have colonial ones and they are all male
DD2 clear lol
Been waiting so long for a vid like this. Thank you so much.
I'm just going to add this here to help answer most questions if you stumble on this comment. :3
Okay, character specific clothing you can get in either a story quest relating to them or their bond missions as a mission reward. Don't mistaken it as a random reward. You will literally see the outfit or weapon in the reward details. :O
If there is an alternative variant of that outfit, you can get that color by doing the same EXCEPT you have to finish that story mission or bond mission on Midnight Mode. Yes, only on Midnight difficulty. :S
Non-character specific outfits or gear you can find from traders, chests, or activities. It really varies. o.o
(edit) Some clothes are REDESIGN only! (edit)
(edit) I did not keep notes of where I found the clothing, weapon, or armor. o.o' (edit)
(edit) So it will all be based on my memory sorry. ;_; (edit)
(edit2) If your stuff doesn't appear in Redesign despite it being in your inventory... :O (edit2)
I hope this answers your question.
Finally!!!! Thank you so much
Where did that fellow go asking about Hajime's sword? o.o
I mistaken two different characters with one another. Whoops. Sorry. I was going to get back to you. x.x'
I guess for anyone else asking... you can get the Shinsengumi member weapons such as Kondo and Okita as examples. So you can probably obtain Hajime's katana. From their bond mission of course. :3
Unfortunately I don't quite remember which one is his sword... O.o'
I'll check later in game by reading the sword descriptions..
Okay. Hajime Saito's sword is Seki no Magoroku if anyone is wondering. It is a katana. :O
I wonder why I didn't see it earlier..? o.o'
I’m sorry this took so long but for those wondering about the fireproof gauntlets… It is a story mission reward for Ikeda Inn Incident. I can only confirm for Anti-Shogunate at least. Non-Midnight Mode. :O
If you didn’t receive it… You might have accidentally sold or dismantled it. o.o
If you don’t see it in Redesign… I dunno what you can do. D:
excellent video, could you tell me where you found this set? Flower Kimono Set 5:02 and Edoite Fusion 4:42? Thanks 😊
I think the Pleasure District Flower Kimono was a quest reward involving Taka either story or from her bond mission and that it can also be bought from a Trader in the city.
Alternative color probably the dark one is either her story or bond mission on Midnight Mode. :O
Same for the Edoite Fusion clothes, but can't be bought from a Trader. Either it is Katsu's story or bond mission that rewards the blue one, and the black one is the same but on Midnight Mode. :O
Well, I think you can get it from a Trader at Katsu's Estate, but that option is only if you have obtained it already. Other characters clothes especially Pro-Shogunate can be bought here in case you accidentally sell or lose their clothes or weapons. xD
@@yunitasparks1097 Thanks😊
Nice and detailed showcase! Thank you !
Blue demon original outfit? Only midnight? And flying squirrel ninja garb? Where are ?
Flying Squirrel Ninja Garb is from getting master rank in Glider Training. I think the Kyoto region. :O
The original color the character wears is most likely from his bond quest on Midnight Mode. The bond quest is called 'The Watchman'.

There are 3 in each region and they are near giant trees with white ribbons. :O

Where do you get the Galvanizing saber from? @30:23 I completed the story and finished all side quests and 100% most regions. Still haven't found that saber yet. Is it midnight mode exclusive?
You can purchase one from the Gambling Den. :3
I think any Gambling Den, but if not the Kyoto one. :O
Not every piece, but most you can configure what coat, garment, belt, or skirt you want to mix and match. :O
Yes, you can mix and match Western and Japanese styles if the top allows for it. :3
How do you get the really blue Blue Demon Garb? Ive sparred Li, did the watchmen, but got a dark version of the Blue Demon. Ive been looking every where but no answers so far
Have you finish the bond mission on Midnight Mode? :O
You get a different color outfit as mission rewards on Midnight Mode unfortunately. :S
One of the few things locked behind Midnight difficulty including Ally Missions.
Redesign is weird like that so try wearing the Ruthless Samuari clothes first while trying to put on the half kimono on or vice versa if you have done it this way already. xD
Now if that doesn’t work then yeah it isn’t compatible at all sadly. x.x
They could make some blades slightly bluish, silver, gray, maybe golden orange or even black but speckling or ripples to keep it in their realistic style is what I am hoping to see to make sword designs more interesting like the Muramasa. :O
How did you get sekihotai officer attire?
Sekohotai Officer outfit can be bought from a Black Marketeer. :3
He is located in Edo in the Honjo region. Somewhere in the bottom right corner of the map a short distance away from a nearby Veiled Banner.
I can't find the second gentleman suit. Does anyone know where to find it?
Oh, this one was a tough one. I don't remember it from memory very well. o.o'
I looked through my videos to see if you can get it from a shop or something first and... I believe you can purchase this from the Sakura Inn Trader. Seems to be a Redesign only outfit. :O
For reference if you need. ruclips.net/video/JpdIRqjd8-I/видео.html
Aside from Muramasa are there any other swords that have a unique look to them?
In terms of really standing out only the Muramasa stands out. :S
I don't recall much odd katana blades or any odd blade colorations.
Other than the Muramasa, katanas come in wavy or straight patterns.

Oxtail Blades also don't have much variation either.

Hello!! I’ve been playing this game ALOT recently, and I REALLY want the spy’s mask (redux) but how did you get it??
Hello. :3
The mask is obtained from a story mission later in the story and once the mission is completed it should be unlocked for use as a Redesign piece only. You’ll also receive the whole spy set too. :O
The Redux version may be a Midnight only unlock if it didn’t unlock in which case you’ll have to do the same mission but on Midnight instead. :S
@ Thank you! And do you know what mission this might be?
@@kage9069 It should be called 'Burgeoning Betrayal'.
If you still have the normal mask, try selling it and the buying it back. :O
If you only have the regular mask in your Redesign but not the Redux one… It may be Midnight only. :(
In that case just play that same mission again but on Midnight if you are able to clear Midnight.
But I believe you unlock all versions of the mask when you first obtain it so I dunno. :O
Great vid i needed this. Where did you get the stagehands cowl mask?
You can get the Stagehands Cowl Mask from a hidden boss in Yokohama. :O
The boss should be near the Noge Veil Banner. Look for big trees with white ribbons.
Are you able to get the Shinsengumi normal style hakama (not the riding hakama) with the snow pattern on the bottom? Ones like Saito Hajime's?

Yeah. Only the Fake Shinsengumi Soldier outfit has that snow effect. :S

Probably his bond mission. And like most NPC recolored outfits...
It can only be obtained in Midnight Mode. ;-;
Just do the bond mission again on Midnight if you don't have that particular colored outfit yet. :O
Unfortunately no coop help for bond missions, but there is cheesy things to make it easier.
It is a mission reward. I am not sure which color is regular mode or midnight mode though. o.o'
If Katsu is wearing black... I think the black version might be a midnight mode bond mission reward specially his bond mission.
As I said before, usually the outfit close to the character's original outfit has a high chance of being a Midnight Mode Bond mission reward.
Thank you!!
When I checked to see if my redesign wardrobe matches yours I noticed my last military torso set called "ribbed chest armour" is missing in your list dunno if you know, just a heads up…

You should have received it after finishing the mission where you spy on the Shinsengumi as a fake solider in Act 3. :O
It is either in your inventory, in Redesign, or for whatever reason it did not register in Redesign and you accidentally sold/disassembled the armor pieces. o.o'
To get another Spy set which includes the mask if it didn't register in Redesign, you can get another set by playing the same mission but in Midnight Mode if you decide to make the game harder. :O
Otherwise I am not sure where you can get another spy mask if you decide not to get it on Midnight Mode besides helping or defeating other player's Ronins wearing the spy mask and hoping you receive it as a reward. x.x
Where did you find “izuminokami and horikawa paired swords”? 29:20
Most likely from his bond quest. :O
For others like Kondo and Okita this was the case.
If not, then story mission will reward his swords.

Yup. :S
Can only be obtained in Midnight Mode. :O

Srry to ask again but how did you get the armor set on 1:36/1:37?
Mibu Wolf armor is most likely from Okita's bond mission. :O
You'll also receive the gloves and the foot wear too.
(Sorry for duplicated reply. I am not sure if my original reply is showing up or not)
Oh.
For some reason you have two comments. xD
I think I might've gotten the White Asectic outfit from a chest marked on the map. Dunno where though. x.x
Shoka Sonjuku Finest outfit is probably from Genzui's bond mission. I think you receive a green rarity version for some reason. Keep that in mind if you want to use it since you will have to farm gold or red rarities. :O

I forgot to do that in this video since I was used to the dark background. xD
You can set 3 lighting modes. :3
To get the bond outfits in their original colors, do you need to play through the missions on NG+?
Unfortunately the only way to get them is by playing the Midnight mode. Usually the last bond mission that character has and that bond mission is around level 80-99. ;_;
If the bond mission has a difficult encounter, I suggest eating those super pills and having ki blaze ready. And be sure to be the right level or preferably level 100 for both character and equipment level (equipment can go to level 110).
@@yunitasparks1097 yea I’ve been burning through all my consumables on midnight right now. Bosses have godly HP
8:18 where can you find these 2 cowboy hats & is it also available for male characters?

I think I display head protection after body protection. :O
I thought that people would prefer that I cover outfit first. xD
Head protection is the same for both male and female although I swapped over to a male model in a couple points in the video since the female model had her hair style blocking the view of some the wear. o.o'
How do you get the face accessories?
You can buy them from Traders marked by a little ship icon. :O
There are around 3 in each region. :3
Try Sakura Inn and Chinatown Traders in Yokohama as a start. :D
How did you get the armor set on 1:17?
Flying Squrriel outfit is from a Glider Training reward in Kyoto if I remember correctly. :O
You also need master rank to receive the outfit.
@@yunitasparks1097 Thank you 🙏 :)
How do you get the stage hand mask?
You get it from beating a secret boss somewhere on the map. :O
There are 3 in each region, and they're not marked on the map.
There should some giant trees nearby with white ropes or ribbions around them that hint that the hidden boss is nearby. Usually a small cave. :O
@@yunitasparks1097 i got it thanks but now im curious can you make a video about these hidden locations?
Sure. I'll do that in a bit. :O
Although I already slain those goons. So it will be empty. x.x
I guess it'll be a surprise if you haven't fought them yet or for new players who like to play with some guidance. :3
How do you get edoite fusion clothes
From what I can remember it is most likely from Katsu's bond mission if you want the blue one, and the black color you have to do the same mission but on Midnight Mode. :O
It could be from the story missions involving Katsu, but besides few specific character outfits that can be obtained from story missions, 90% of the time character specific outfits are rewards from their bond missions with the alternate color being rewarded when that bond mission is instead finished on Midnight.
How’d you get the celestial maiden’s paired swords
Unfortunately I never took notes on where I found all this stuff. x.x
And for this particular weapon I don't remember where I found it. o.o
I'll check around and see, but I think it could be a random drop, a treasure chest, or a mission reward. Perhaps a Black Marketeer or a Blacksmith sells it. D:
I knew it. :3
In my memory I remembered a place that sold some white colored weapons, and I didn't have to look far. O
You lucky boy, you can find the Celestial Maiden Paired Swords from the Gambling Den in Edo. :D
Thanks, I appreciate it 😂
Where do you get the blind fold
Now I can't quite remember this but most likey from the Traders located in cities. Can't remember which Trader. x.x
Traders sell cosmetics for your eyes and ears so I assume you also get the blindfold from them since it is an eye piece. :O
I can't edit my comment on mobile, but the icon for Traders is a small ship. :O
Where i can get the cursed katana?
A dairy side quest in Kyoto. The quest will also have 'Muramasa the Cursed Blade' in its title.
You get the sword as a reward after finishing this quest.
You may or may not have to finish his other diary missions to unlock this quest.
Yo plz tell me how you get the eye mask/ blindfold plz tell me 16:22
The white blindfold? :O
I think that can purchase that from the Chinatown Trader in Yokohama. :3
@@yunitasparks1097 sorry real quick is Chinatown in Miyozaki?
@@yunitasparks1097nvm I found it
@@gokusson2636 I think it is southeast from the pleasure district (as a landmark, not at the pleasure district) and then somewhere down there. There should be a small ship icon on the map if your reputation is high enough or if you have visited it before or walked by it. :O
I am not good with map section names so I may not know what it is really called. o.o'
Edit- It is the Honcho region of Yokohama. :3
@@gokusson2636 I have edited my message a few times in case you saw the unedited version. :O
I hope you can find it, so you can wear it too. :D
Where is the best place to find earrings?
You can find a single pair at the Yokohama American Trader. :O
And you can find another single pair at the Chinatown Trader. :3
The Sakura Inn Trader sells two sets of earrings. :O
These are just examples but I like the ones from the Chinatown Trader in Yokohama and the Trader at Kaishu Katsu's Estate in Edo. :3
Crystal Earrings.
@@yunitasparks1097 thank you so much
if anyone knows can someone tell me where to get that black blindfold
I think the Trader in Horikawa in Kyoto above Nijo Castle sells it. :O
@yunitasparks1097 it was there thank yog
Where do you get the eye masks??
They're from some Traders in cities. :O
Marked with a small ship icon on the map. Not all of them sell eye wear though.
For example the Chinese or American Trader, one of them, or could be both, sell glasses whether double lens or single lens. :O
There is a Trader somewhere that sells eye masks and eye blindfold. I dunno which one though. o.o
And to equip it once you find it... Go to Longhouse and in Rest, press Redesign. There go to Accessories but if your hat is not compatible, remove your hat or pick another hat to equip your eye accessory. :3
how do you get the fox and tengu mask
I think it is from Ine's bond quest. :O
'Physicians Request'.
You fight two guys wearing the masks and then you get both masks when you defeat them. :3
By chance as I was giving growth items... I noticed you could receive the fox and tengu mask when you level up both the characters bond level. o.o'
That is another way of obtaining thr fox and tengu masks. :3
@@yunitasparks1097 i got them as well thank you
Can play using other gender character ? How can I do that?
Yup. :3
I done it a few times in the video, but all you have to do is go into the Longhouse, use the 'Rest' option, and then go into the 'Appearance'. :O
There you can recreate your characters again and you can change whatever you need with either one with no consequences or limitations. :D
I haven't even come across half these sets😮
