Man the way everyone has gotten so hyped for prime 4 ever since it was announced almost 10 years ago makes me feel so happy. Not even a huge metroid fan but even I get excited anytime samus shows up on screen now
I've waited for this game for a long time. Metroid is my favorite video game series ever. I'm still in shock. I've watched the trailer like 100 times now.
Yeah, this was about what my reaction was 😂 I see galactic federation and i freaked like "oh my god it's metroid", then i saw samus fly in with the prime 3 gunship and i lost it. Looks like this game will thankfully be worth the seven year wait!!
I am tired of people comment on videos saying the game is wasted on the Switch with 0 understanding of how hardware works. Like do you not know that hardware doesn't magically make a game look better? It just makes it RUN better and if it has features to make it look better like Ray Tracing, it actually needs programming code to execute this? Code that take up more power and needs time to write and develop for which can't be done on hardware that doesn't exist yet. lol. That's why all games look better after years of development on the platform when they actually start to develop the base code from the ground up for that actual hardware.
@@superavel lol 4 month reply. I'm well aware of how hardware and software works, hell I deal with it daily. My comment is that the wait has been that long, yet they only just now getting this title out that a whole new generations of hardware have been launched in the mean time. I for one would rather they put effort and make the game the best it can be and release a game like this in the prime of the hardware lifecycle, not tacking it on the end of the hardwares life whilst it's literally on life support. The switch hardware literally held this game back and a decision should of been made sooner to shift development efforts to their next hardware release, which they would of already been working on all those years ago anyway.
@@Sepheron44 What hardware? The game started development in 2019. There was no Switch 2 then or the next Tegra chip yet so they can theorise how the next nVidia chip works and what features it will have but there's no product hardware or software for them to work their code or develop their engine on. The nVidia Tegra chip that they probably will use with the Ampere chip wasn't even out till 2023. Are they going to waste 5 years of code that's already done by then? The base code would have already been written by now and upgrading that is difficult. Also, they basically made a promise in 2017 by revealing the logo then saying it was in development for the Switch.
Nobody likes metoid prime series.. It's just absolutely garbage I mean this game. It looks pretty okay, but the graphics are still very subpar i don't know why everybody's crying over this stupid game.
@superavel it looks almost like games that should have been on PlayStation 3 or the wii Metroid Prime is just garbage that's been misplaced and mishandled by Retro Studios I mean that's why Nintendo seeked out for a different Studio to begin with when Metroid Prime was still concept art That's why they looked for Bandai Namco Studios Retro Studios was just the last minute choice since after their big hiccup and mishandling of the game Metroid Prime Federation Force They were looking for a team that would be best suitable for the next Generation and it wasn't Retro Studios Sakamoto was just an overseer of the Prime series not The Writer. So we go by the logic of DBZ fans it would be non-canon.
