Not gonna argue with The Rock, but if you're not a highly-paid action hero, I'd recommend the Panasonic Arc5 (ES-LV65S in Europe). Wherever you are, it's cheaper than the Braun, sometimes significantly. If you forego the totally unnecessary cleaning station, you can find it for 100-120 dollars/pounds/euros. There are a few RUclips comparisons showing that the Panasonic is at least as good if not better than a Series 9, and from a bald guy perspective the Panasonic has a slightly bigger surface, so you can even "shave off" a few seconds from your routine.

If you are using a wet razor and getting a sore head or face you are doing it wrong, the Prep/foam/shower/moisturize then again i have been shaving it with a Mach 3 for last 25yrs. Usually 1 or 2 times a week.. Foil shavers dont cut it excuse the pun, nothing will come as close as a wet shave especially against the grain in certain areas (neck/cheeks/back and side of head) you cannot even see where the hair was until approx the morning after
Was really hoping you’d post a video about the rock revealing his head shaving technique. I believe Steve Harvey also uses the Braun Series 9. So I thought to myself if the Braun series 9 is good enough for the rock and Steve Harvey, who both effortlesslyyyyy rock bald heads.... who you neverrrr catch without freshly shaved heads....the Braun series 9 must be amazing! Especially for 300 dollars right?! Wrong 🥴. I had about 3 days of growth and it took forever to get a close shave. I will say it was a smooth shave tho! Not a lot of pulling or tugging of the hair. It got the top and sides of my head to a pretty close shave but I couldn’t quite do the same with the back of my head. I’m black and I have sensitive skin near the neck area, so I didn’t want to be too aggressive. I even had my lady friend take a crack at it, to which she said , “this thing sucks!”. Maybe just maybe her and I both suck, but for 300$ I expected a lot more out of the BS9. I’m really looking forward to your review of the BS9! Hopefully you have more success with it.
It takes longer to get that really smooth head shave in comparison to the leaf and if you want the head to last you'll need to use the clean function everytime or use the lubricant like Oster Kool lube or something. The cleaner does have a light lube in it, but I think I'll use the Kool lube spray. I got the tip from a barber video and he swears by the Braun series 9 razor. I bought the Braun series 9 pro, but I haven't noticed a big difference from the Braun series 9 I use to have. My old series 9 I used on my face and it was the only razor that never gave me razor burn. Now I have a beard and it's my head I shave so I learned a new technique from another RUclipsr to get that super close shave. Slow with the grain the first time over your head and then slower against the grain and then go across the grain followed by checking to see if you got it all. If the head blade gets very warm then you are going too fast and that heat caused by friction wears out the head early. I'm gonna see if that spray help that, so to speed things up a bit. Anyway lubrication is what will make the razor head last longer.
I embraced it and shaved my head like 2 hours ago, but I feel strange, maybe the results would be more accurate on the next days Thanks for all Harry, nice job!!

I don't know why but I spend too much time every other day getting a BBS with the Leaf. I need to get EVERY hair-no stubble! It's a bit crazy as it doesn't even last more than a few hours before I start feeling some stubble as happens with my face! I have a beard but I love the whole ritual of a great wet shave and I have a Rex Ambassador DE that I can set on different settings for with grain, cross grain, and against the grain. I tried it on my head but I still get too many nicks and it takes much longer than the Leaf. Anyway, I go with electric every other day to save time. The look is pretty much the same, regardless. I'm anxious to hear your opinion-Leaf, Remington, both?.....Keep up the great posts!
I don't have those brands on me but I do have Panasonic Arc5 and I can tell you this shaver is my endgame to get a silky smooth no stubble at all without getting any nicks and razor bumps like I used to with a safety razor. I only need 10 minutes tops to clean shave my whole head without wasting my time with the stupid preps. Furthermore, it's easy to clean the razor head with running water compared to Braun where you definitely need to buy its cleaning station to clean it thoroughly.
I’ve been curious about your opinion on the series 9. I’ve read the reviews on Amazon but wanted to see your video because I can’t see how they use the razor
I knew he used an electric shaver a few years ago. there was an photo from the set of Ballers circulating in between scenes where he was shaving with one. Not sure if it was this exact same model though.
Interestingly I feel like Im being obsessive if I shave my head more than once every 6-7 days (i use a 1 or a 1/2) but it really seems to be common for people to do it every two days. Thats about when I start to feel a bit off with my hair too.
First of all this wasn't random that he showed the world which shaver he uses, I'm sure all his videos before posting go through his media people & this for sure was an ad. I personally think he is a straight razor shaver & somebody else does it for him every 2 days but whatever, a person like the Rock just wouldn't show what razor he uses unless its an advertisement & i guess it worked.
That particular shaver has been out for years so I’m not sure the brand would pay him loads of money to promote a product that has sold or at the very least sat on the shelf close to 4 years now *IMO*
@@aneji9383 Braun in the US & all over has recently revamped the series 9 on their website they're stating as "introducing series 9" & for reference series 9 was launched in 2015. Passive advertising is nothing new like Beyoncé & Jay Z taking their MacBook openly during their vacation or Katie Homes being an Olay brand ambassador coming out of a spa with Luxury brand Skinmedica bottle out in the open without a carry bag. It just seems odd that the barrage of media people around him just said yeah ok lets post the shaving tool (which is a big part of his personality that is being bald) you use without any financial ramifications lets give the brand a free ad.
You couldn’t have just thrown a quick clip of you shaving your head at the end with the Series 9? Cmon dude...
Thanks for the video it was very interesting and inspiring 😀 👍 😊 🙂 🙏
Which bald leaf razor do you use. There are so many
man I really want to see how that works. I'll be waiting for that test and review!

Soon indeed! How should we celebrate 100k?
@@Baldcafe with a shave 😂😂
@@Baldcafe another big comparison before/after would be cool))
@@Baldcafe Woah! I never noticed! The last time I looked, it was around 50k... Keep it up!
The Rock needs to stop lying. He clearly got laser hair removal, anybody can see that
I’ve been curious about your opinion on the series 9. I’ve read the reviews on Amazon but wanted to see your video because I can’t see how they use the razor
Foil with warm water and conditioner is the only way to go if you’re gonna go electric
Damn. I thought he lasers it away or something. No shadow at all
It’s still a possibility to be honest
Great video man! I was really surprised , was sure the rock would of used a wet razor .
Got an older Braun shaver. Good quality but prepare for 50€ shaving heads once a year.
Rock is a great sellsmen
I knew he used an electric shaver a few years ago. there was an photo from the set of Ballers circulating in between scenes where he was shaving with one. Not sure if it was this exact same model though.
i would like to see a Series 9 vs Series 7
I’ve got a series 3 vs series 9 coming this weekend of that helps?
Ive got a series 5 and its amazing
Interestingly I feel like Im being obsessive if I shave my head more than once every 6-7 days (i use a 1 or a 1/2) but it really seems to be common for people to do it every two days. Thats about when I start to feel a bit off with my hair too.
No shadow? I shave my head with razor against the grain and there is still shadow??
Can't use a hand shaver because of skin tags and bumpy mole's so electric head shaver is where it's at
I love my Braun 9, but im looking at the Philips arc 6. The 6 will be for my head and 9 for my face?
Best Electric Shaver on the Market
They have a new display, new colors, new 32 bit chip to adjust the motor speed, new body materials.
It just seems too obvious.
So funny you can find any video your looking for recently started to shave the head not balding but trying out bald lol looking for recommendations on lotions or is no lotion good, any info would be great
Put it to the test
Can you do a review of this electric razor?
I have the series 9 and a Pitbull skull shaver gold pro. Both great products.
Which one is better in terms of getting a close shave?
@@Octoba10 Braun series 9 for sure.
Every 36 hours dam steve harvey says something similar
Does it shave closer than using a Gillette Blue 2 against the grain?
No I doubt it
Braun series 9 pro+ is better ?
I think the only difference is the charging case. Don't quote me but from what I see that's it. The actual shave you get will be the same.
Recently bald guy here…how do you avoid the “shadow” look being so pronounced?
A common desire for men new to the bald life. Honestly your best path is to get comfortable with it by not obsessing over having it shaved to the bone every day. I made this mistake in the past. Having a good window of lengths where you feel comfortable will make you unstoppable
Only way is laser hair removal
Too bad that I can't get the leaf razor, as they currently do not ship to Brazil...
Is this better than the Panasonic Arc5?
I bet its just a cheeky little product placement but the series 9 still can be a good product nonetheless.
YO HARRY V WE NEED TO SEE YOU USE IT
A request...can u start featuring bald girls??
Review it mate 🤓
On the way for ya 👍
@@Baldcafe still waiting my good friend lol
I didn't know shavers had bells and whistles 🤔 interesting do need a new bell and a whistle.
Most barbers saying babyliss profoil is better.
$269 for it dammmm
Where can I get that manual shaver from?
how much!!!
Leafs have link don’t work
Lol I've seen you in my home Town , 🙏
I would love if you give us price/performance product names. For example im a student, 23 yo., shaving since a year, but i wanna get a machine like this one. Can you drop few suggestions for people than can afford in different ranges like this: 50$, 100$, 150$. Thank you so much, keep up the content!
Good idea let me see what I can do 👍
