The Reload animation of the Thompson & MP40 from Both COD1 & COD2 was good, while the Reload animation from COD3 was more intense, they pull the bolts then changing mags.

@@1SilverDollar the Sten gets it closed bolt, but I think it was in Big Red One that the Thompson fired closed bolt now that I look back.

@@krychur4956 So I looked it up and there appears to be no visible handle on the Thompson at all in BRO. The animation has the hands lock back the bolt, swap mags and release the bolt to go forward. Though whether this implies it closes all the way or not can't be clear. The ejection port is a solid black color so it doesn't help either.

@@flame_101 oh yeah i know, it’s just it was depicted more accurately than the other cods, even if it was incorrect. i guess what i meant was, “cod 1, 2 and 3 reloaded the BAR more accurately than other cod”

You're both wrong. BAR can be reloaded both ways due to how genius Browning was at designing weapons. You can pull the bolt before inserting the mag or insert the mag and pull the bolt afterwards
There's a reason why many of his guns are still used to this day such as the M2 50 Cal and M1911
Only mistake many WW2 games did was that the bolt should be locked forward again like COD 3 instead of being in the back like 1, 2, WAW and so on
The one they always gets wrong until WWII and Vanguard are the Thompson. That gun doesn't need to be treated like AK 47 because the users can just slap a mag in and keep shooting again after the user pulls the bolt for the first time. This does not include the Drum mag version where the mechanism requires the user to pull back the bolt before firing again

Cod 2's G43 and SVT40 sometimes still creeps me out because not only its hard to replicate but sometimes of how impractical it is
