This Ford Edge uses Ford's naturally aspirated 3.5l V6. The Ford Edge Sport uses Ford's 2.7l twin-turbo V6. The 3.5l V6 has 280 hp and 250 lb-ft of torque. The 2.7l V6 has 315 hp and 350 lb-ft of torque.
Takman Klan Killa 187 How? haha, the only fords my family has ever had all died. My moms first car was a Ford EXP and it blew up. She wasn’t hurt, thank god, but was so bitter about it. I think she forgot about her feelings because after numerous warnings by her mechanic father she still got another Ford, that Edge. It broke down while on the middle of the highway(no fuel issue because she had refueled before leaving for work) and was stuck there for like 2 hours before a tow truck came. Ford didn’t help her much with costs and was very unfriendly with her on the phone. I remember some of the conversation she had and she just wanted to get it over with and be done with it, no yelling or getting mad at all. She’s not that kind of person. She gets a rental Explorer- Which is too big for her and not what she wanted, but whatever. Then that thing breaks down. Now she’s upset. She gets another Explorer as a rental, and none of the touchscreen stuff works inside. Radio broken, nothing working at all. She got a Toyota Highlander at the end of 2013. No problems with that thing whatsoever and only 1 major repair because some idiot speeding rear ended us in icy roads.
Not great but pretty much the norm for the segment at the time. 2016 Santa Fe with the 3.3l V6 and AWD is rated at 18 (17 if it's the Ultimate trim)/24 mpg. 2015 Venza with the 3.5l V6 and AWD is rated at 18/25 mpg.
@@fuffthebucks7266 What? If everyone in the segment is getting similar fuel economy, then that's just how it is. You're acting like they're committing a crime and I'm making an excuse for them.
This turned out to be click-bait for me. I have the same model and year, thought there was going to be mention of mods or known issues like direct injection oil/carbon accumulation, sync 3 wonkiness. After a few years, I like the vehicle for a commuter but dislike the throttle lag and need to shift into “S” mode often to gain quickness in traffic situations. I also find the suspension too soft at higher speeds. As an owner of the vehicle and new to your channel, I guess I’m missing the point to your video. Found my way to the “About” section of your channel and then your website hoping you sold parts for mods. Nope. Put a custom exhaust system on it, and an oil catch-can, beef up the suspension and chip the engine and then take the same ride ! Hope the guys at MT channel don’t notice the “roadkill” and come after you for trademark violation! :-)
Still has that classic Ford Edge engine sound when it starts up

Gas mileage is sacrificed for great power.
I have a 3.2 Isuzu Rodeo and it flies.
I'm sure this 3.5 Edge does too.
