i love watching POVs of older cars for some reason. these fusions are some of the best cars in american history and it sucks to see so many of them neglected and mistreated out on the roads. they’re good cars.
I agree 100%! I drive a 2012 Ford Fusion SEL V6 with almost 142k miles on it and still fires in the worst weather conditions. Absolutely love this car and will have it for a long time
These videos are my new favorite thing. I'm autistic so it's nice to watch a POV review so I can hear the sounds and anticipate the feelings of the materials in the car. I can hear the motor, the turn signal, it's just awesome ASMR for my love for cars too.
I've had 2 of the 1.5 gen Fusions and they're great cars. The 3.0 is the only one I've not driven since I had a 2.5 and 3.5. I should have kept the 3.5 AWD, still one of my favorite cars I've ever owned. Also, love the older drives.
Great car, you should do a 2008 mercury sable. I’ve owned one for 10+ years and it’s been the most reliable car I’ve ever owned. The only thing I’ve had to do is basic maintenance and replacing the alternator
PSA: if you still have a 2011 gen Fusion, replace the thermostat. you can tell the one in the video is stuck slightly open as the temperature gauge should be perfectly in-between C and H. my mom's Fusion just had the same issue. it's a very cheap part and an easy fix if you have a little bit of mechanical prowess.
I always desperately wanted one of these but couldn’t afford one back then. I still think they look great, shame that the fusion got killed in the US. Especially considering how good the current model looks in China.
The 4 cylinder is the way to go for dependability. The only weak spot on these car are the front lower control arms which are a tad expensive to do but that's about it for weak spots.
Yupppp I had a 2011 3.0. Front left and right lower control arms had to be replaced. You know they’re going bad because of the racket they make when it gets warm outside.
@@devenmellor That’s funny because that’s exactly what I had to do on mine. The door handle had to be replaced (I also got it off of Amazon). I would get evap codes the first cold day of the year. I would clear it and it wouldn’t come back. Very, very good engine (3.0 V6). Car lasted until around 150k miles when unfortunately I was hit by someone not paying attention. I just did oil changes and had to replace one suspension arm in the front because the bushing went bad. Most headache-free car I’ve ever owned.
My mom and I traded in her 2012 Ford Fusion SE for a 2023 Honda CR-V Sport Hybrid at Hughes Honda in Warner Robins, GA on 5/26/2023 because the previous owner who had the car wrecked it and there was severe damage under the vehicle. The friggin MYKEY was set by my mom's stupid ex boyfriend's son, and I was so sick and tired of hearing the dinger go off every time she hit 80 MPH. It was a nice car but it was time to trade it because I did not want my mother to be stranded. The transmission was not acting right either.
I own a 2011 Ford fusion SE I was thinking about upgrading to the V6 but that requires SEL I’m really not a fan of the SEL because on the top compartment the speaker takes up most of the room and the SE does not have a speaker in the middle of the top compartment making it easier to not have my bag of pretzels fall because of the extra speaker you pay for, What I’m trying to say here is get a Ford fusion SE it has no big speaker that’s gonna make your chips fall off because of the extra speakers
I’m 16 and I was highly suggested to get a car and I figured to find a used, perfect condition car and found this for 8 thosand, 2.5L I-4 cyl Engine Automatic 117,093 miles Odometer 23/33 mpg City/Hwy Any thoughts?
Would not pay 8k would try to talk it down a bit. Or finance. I have a 2011 4 cylinder se. Has 211k miles and still runs I would be cautious of the automatic transmissions they are a but iffy but not as horrible as a chevy car or truck. And I had to get a seal replaced on an axle for 900 dollars to stop a leak. But overall still runs and transmission shifts smooth just make sure you take care of it. Its not a Toyota so its not a tank but more like a armored patrol vehicle in comparison.! Love mine got it for 2500 at 206k miles and it was a fixer upper just make sure to test drive the car.
This car is sadly new compared to mine. I drive a 2002 intrepid with 275,000 miles. I said I would drive it until it dies but it refuses to die. I may need to just give up and buy a newer car.

They sure are. I have a 2012 SEL myself that just rolled 165K miles and it still cranks up and drives like a brand new car. I love it.
I bought a used 2011 Ford Fusion SEL 6AT, drives excellent. The only drawback is the steering, it's very stiff.
Guilty lol
I agree 100%! I drive a 2012 Ford Fusion SEL V6 with almost 142k miles on it and still fires in the worst weather conditions. Absolutely love this car and will have it for a long time
Mine is the same trim just I have the 3l and it’s black
always appreciate these older regular cars

Idk if its the startup sound or the leathery smell that the car gives off that I just love sooo much 😅❤
I always liked these fusions in V6 form.
I totally agree. :-D
I like Ford Fusions too. I want to get one next year

I came back here for the memories because this was my very first car.
Still driving 07 Fusion 2.3 El Manuel at 300k km. Great car. There's actually some fun factor if equipped with manual transmission.
I’m driving a 2010 fusion 2.5L and I love it.superb car by ford I wish they bring back the fusion.

Good eye

I got a 2012 SEL and its a great car. If you can find a used one, go for it!
my brother had a 2012 one now he drives a 2011 fusion has over 260k on it no problems at all
I think it's funny that this 2011 Ford Fusion is performing just as good on the channel in one day as the F-150 Lightning is doing in a month

I have the exact car just tan seats, V6, AWD, and a rear wing it’s a 2012 model.
Çok güzel video çekiyor. Araba kasislerde ve tümseklerde çok tepki gösteriyor ve içine çok ses alıyor.
This used to be my dad’s car before it stopped working
I love your vids

8,000 for a fusion with 117k is a lot
Ford please bring back the fusion
Do more older cars, a lot of them do not have pov drive videos.
Where was this pov when I was getting mine😩

How the hell a car can be used in any country without a plate in the front ??? 14:50
It has a plate in the back ..
in the state of michigan, ads don’t need a front plate, only a back one.

parece un modelo obsoleto ,para estos tiempos.
Entonces cómprate un carro nuevo
