It's dangerous stuff going to a market with Steve . However the outcome could be delicious What a lot we got ! Rib Eyes for months Music from : uppbeat.io/t/andrey-rossi/bun...
A great wee bargain. My mum and dad used to love goin to the barra's market in glasgow and they would come back with loads of meat from the butchers bit xx
Hello Penn, just stumbled across your site today 🤗always happy to find a new foodie vloger. As an oldie, 69yrs old and a retired chef. Just love to keep an eye whats, what 👀. Now I have to tell you. I love a bargain 😍, and on the face of it, your meat haul is very good value. However, like to know its history. How and where it was raised. Probably, sound as a pound & ticks all the right boxes, and fair play to the seller. But🤔never can tell. I buy mine on line, great company based in Scotland (Donald Russell's) Top butchers. Still nice to see you and give me some new ideas to watch. Cheers Allan&Family
omg penn, that haul resembles my keto sons daily diet😊 He also loves the bxm kitchen bacon packs, more like gammon steaks, and so far non too salty. Take it while it's going and you got the money🎉 loved Steve's picture by the meat man's stall❤,be well steve. Get them steaks into you both to build that protein up,most enjoyed vlog penn1👍👍🌞
I used to go a meat van on market. I used to go to before I met Chris. I used to go once a month and fill my freezer up. It was amazing. Like the Haul you've got . Enjoy pen ❤
Lovely vlog Penn I have a great butcher outlet in Brierley hill it’s called the butchers by the tank and their meat offers are very good and the meat is brilliant hope you and Steve are well take care keep safe best wishes Sheila and family
that was certainly a bargain penn, what day is the market on , we live in chorleywood so not that far away , would be worth a visit. cant wait till we see you cook them . love to you both xxx
Brilliant bargain Penn. I just ordered online coz cant get in butchers or supermarkets, calves liver, I don't eat it but hubby loves it. I paid or rather he paid, lol, £25.00 for a kilo. I will section it up and freeze it, derek doesn't eat big portions so I'll get a few dinners out of it. Rib eye is the best steak, well I think it is and if it's well marbled it cooks up a treat in the airfryer. Many yonks ago late first husband would buy a whole rib of beef at Christmas, even then it was expensive but the best in a roast. Hope both are ok.😃👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼❤️
Morning Christine . Oh youll definitely get a few portions out of that especially if like me you serve with onions and bacon . I didn't see any liver on this stall We had 2 of the steaks on Saturday, both were delicious especially with the homemade chimichurri sauce. We have a rib of beef in the freezer that we bought reduced after Christmas, it's now vacpacked and nestling in the freezer for this Christmas.
@christinegitsham5268 I have 2 an all singing all dancing Food Saver and a really simple 1 I bought from High Street TV www.highstreettv.com/power-xl-duo-nutrisealer.html I use the rolls of bags from LIDL for both and buy whenever they have them in
I know you will make the most of all the meat Penn, a bargain. For me it’s a nightmare. I do cook meat for my Steve, even though he says he’s practically vegetarian. It’s over 40 years since I’ve eaten meat, just hate the texture. You enjoy it. X❤
@chrissiematthews7988 thanks , we had some of the steak on Saturday it was really good with homemade chimichurri sauce . I understand about the textures , that's why I can't eat cooked mushrooms
