I don't know. But for me, it's a fact. I still cannot say hello over the phone. Isn't that obvious? I'm still refusing to take the call and rejecting with a message. I'm 19 now, and Lord knows what will happen when I'm going to an interview

Cheers for this, been searching for "easy ways to stop stuttering" for a while now, and I think this has helped. Have you ever come across - Rincaas Stammify Blocker - (should be on google have a look ) ? Ive heard some super things about it and my cousin got great success with it.

You missed the best one. Alcohol before a presentation is one bad idea!! I had a little before one once and it was my most humiliating stuttering experience ever. My blocks lasted like 10 seconds and I barely made it through. Since then I've just gotten some exercise to clear my mind before them and I've done alright. Maybe a few little blocks, but nothing major.

Regarding #4, I think the attitude that someone who doesn't stutter somehow is an authority on how to speak simply because they speak fluently and I don't is not just patronising, but also arrogant. It shows a lack of appreciation for stuttering as a disability, reducing it to just "you're doing it wrong" or "you need to be calm". If you know the person, sure, that's a different dynamic, but please don't go around telling other people how to speak.
The manner in which I appreciate being received the most is just like anyone else, for the other person to listen patiently until I've gotten what I wanted to say across to them.
