This was great for myself to hear and listen to the information as the young lady did this interview, It guides you into seeing, feeling and the real life of how to help and support individuals in their need of support with compassion and it help me to see their are difference needs in this process
Amazing video, I'm graduating in the spring with my BSW and it's people like you that made me want to pursue this career in the first place. An absolutely perfect example of what a social worker should be! You are literally the embodiment of everything that I have spent all these years learning about. Thank you so much!
I watched a ton of theses and no one mentions that it is confidential unless they discuss self-harm, child abuse or harm to others, do you not mention that?
70% of your minimum wage cheque with two kids? How about trusting the mom to manage her own finances and you both come up with a game plan for the next two months.
Really?!! I have seen quite a few social work interview role plays and in my experience you don't start off by asking, "how are you?" because nine times out of ten the client feels like shit and that's why they've come to see a social worker. What else would he/she be feeling. Come on now. Also, where the relationship building? Get to know the client or build a client profile right at the beginning and establish trust and confidence between each other.

This is the worst example I have ever seen of someone trying to be a good counsellor. You need to read the Social work code of ethics again!

Buddy lost his job n ran out of money. She is ready for divorce
Is that a Canadian or American video. Because I would love to learn about Canadian social work.
very good
Nice video but dont suggest suicidal thoughts to your service user when they have not mentioned it.

Go back and watch the client asks first how she is. Bet you feel sad now
this is insane, so bad, was she even listening to the client
this is the worst example of how to help a domestic violence victim I have ever seen!!
ABSOLUTELY AGREE! This was terrible!
i have to watch this for one of my classes and i am beyond triggered and frustrated with the way this is represented.
