People are more creative when drunk / high / wasted / whatever. So I don't think that's really a weird thing that they made it work Most bands best albums were made high. And then the band sober up it all goes down hill. It is what it is
I'm 35 and I still listen to the first 3 KoRn albums sometimes but I agree, Follow the Leader really is something special. I was a mega fan as a kid, I even ran 2 sites lol.
It’s great that they’re ‘Letting Go’ and releasing all the “pain” they’ve gone through and are accepting it all to post it. I grew up listening to them. I gym regularly and never lived their lifestyle - but, as a kid their music helped me through TONS of pain and loneliness. So thank you KoRn.
Man these vids are moments in time that wont ever come back. Its different than watching a vid from like 2013 or 2020 or whatever, ~94-2006 was just different.
This was the very first introduction of you guys, that came into my life & I’ve been forever happy!! Love you guys still 🥰 p.s. come back to Australia 🙏🏼
This band is my first influence. Legends! I was listening to a lot of classic songs but something is just missing and nu metal as the piece I was looking for.
Ya, they were fans of those Adam Sandler movies from the late 90s early 2000 when Sandler was still funny. One of their tour picks has the Waterboy movie cover but instead of Sandler as the waterboy its one of the band members (looks like head or JD can't tell though because picture sucks).
Munky said they spent $27,000 on alcohol when they were making that album. I heard it was more like $60,000. Jonathan Davis said in the interview for the Family Values DVD that he was drinking a 2-liter bottle of Jack Daniel’s a day back then. Fieldy said on that DVD that Jonathan would drink 30 Jack & Cokes in 10 minutes. If that’s true he’s lucky he didn’t die from alcohol poisoning.
@@Cramondorf it's called 'Nostalgia' aka trip down memory lane, loads of bands will of uploaded old video's to their channels, it's not a crime. And it could be a tribute to FTL which was 20 in 2018.
I still forget how soft Jon's voice is normally
There's got to be some credit to making such a successful album in such an intoxicated state.
Yup booze is good 👍
Lmfao!! "It's fuckin' Jack-O-clock!" JD was always on them Jack & Cokes.
This turned out to be their highest selling album! 😆😆
How drunk are you?
Whole korn band: yes
How toasted are you?
Korn: 100%
What steak do you like?
Korn: well done
@DEADPOOL dude this made my day i never thought of that
I don't even think they could say yes
23k in a few months is crazy
They were drunk as hell, and they still made this fantastic album!
That's how you know they have amazing talent that just comes natural

It's so strange to see Head cursing like a sailor lol.
@@ChrisJohnson1988 I don't think he's restraining from swearing because of religion he's just not a 20something year old anymore
Korn is the greatest nu-metal band of all time
No, they’re not just the greatest nu metal band. They are the best band in history
@@_CPP_ agreed
Their albums up to Untouchables guaranteed that status. It’s all downhill after that
@@Loki-sk7bi i agree, take a look in the mirror was good ,but not as good, then what came after wasnt really bad
Korn isn’t nu metal. They’re the band that nu metal was trying to
sound like.

BAHAHA
I'm so happy Korn is still around. A lot of bands stopped making music. This whole video gives me trevor from grand theft auto 5 vibes lol.

Jon: 'it's f**kin jack o'clock!'
Can't wait for the new album this year
3:38 "I'm scared to breathe". Has been one of my catch phrase since 2012 after seeing this LMAO
Their Style, the Camera Quality and Big Ass CRT Monitors. This is nostalgic af

Their best album! They don’t write riffs like that anymore. They were so innovative back then.
Issues was good too the year after, but they were more focused with that, than FTL i.e. not drinking/partying as much and JD had sobered up.
honestly
Todd McFarland is a fucking legend with the album artwork.
This album was a gift and took them 2 another level of fame.
90’s were just the best times to be alive and hanging out
'But that's O.K-Not our Money' lmao
Can't wait for the next album, awesome guys!
One of the best bands ever

What ever happened to "Orgy" it's like their CD catalog just drops off the edge of the earth.
They sucked
well looking at spotify they released an ep in 2015. they also have 600k unique monthly listeneres. so they still have some sort of fanbase

17th comment. I wore a korn hoodie to school today.
