The fact that they do not (these heathens and pagans) by and large shows us how far Vatican II has got us, Catholics need to get back to tradition, the liturgy, not the Protestant one laid out by Bishop Annibale Bugnini and put into play by the probable (given the evidence) homosexual Pope, Pope Paul VI. We should turn our backs on ecumenism, it has sought to carve Holy Mother Church up. Pray for Good Priests, Pray for Holy Priests, we no longer want effeminate Jesuitical ones infiltrating our Church with their Leftist political ideologies. We need strong men leading us in these times calling it as they see it. Pray For Us St. Pope Pius X.

@@designinglovelies3437 I'll just pose one question to you. Not oppose any argument but just to help people realise that there can be double speak and even disobedience from certain clergy and indeed false ideologies, with ambiguity and a distortion of the Truth which as rightly point out is Jesus the light. When Jesus was on trial he answered Ciaphas , " I have spoken openly in our Synagogues and in public. Those who hear my voice believe the truth".
      So here is the question:
The Blessed Virgin Mary gave a trifold message to the children at Fatima. She asked that the third part not be released in 1960 by the Pope. Pope John 23rd opened the third part and read it before he was supposed to and said it was not for that time but a future time. The third part was never and has never been fully released to the world to date but instead kept secret against The Blessed Virgins wishes. So there was disobedience and secrecy by Pope John 23rd regarding the third part of Our Lady's Message.
Q; Do you think he was right to disobey The Virgin Mary's request and keep it a secret when humanity was supposed to be told in 1960?
See a big problem now in the church is secrecy. From the sexual abuse and cover ups, to financial cover ups, to The Synod on Synodality to this meeting by the Bishops of Ireland with James Martin at Knock.
Then they drop Fiducia Supplicans out of the blue without any Bishops Conferences being informed before it's draughting and subsequent publication, catching both the clergy and Laity unawares. You see this was hatched in secret once again.

@@designinglovelies3437 Yea Like Jesus was always out in the open except for two occasions that I can think of. The first was when He healed a man of leprosy at the start of His mission. He told the man to say nothing to anyone but go to the High Priest and show he was cured. However the man went and told everyone and Jesus was overwhelmed with the sick looking to be cured. Of course Jesus knew the man would tell everyone as he understood human nature better than anyone. So by telling the man to say nothing he knew he would do the opposite and it would not be a secret.
The second time was on mount Tabor and The Transfiguration. He told the Apostles on the way down afterwards to tell no one what they had seen until after the Son of Man had risen from the dead which they didn't understand at that time. So it was kept quiet till he rose and it was not a secret anymore.
So the point is Jesus always worked and talked and taught openly and not in secret and his church and its ministers and leaders should do the same in the face of true Church Doctrine.

😢 I do not doubt the good Bishops sincerity but I fear he is preaching to himself..faith in Ireland was established through fear and control and privilege..not through Faith Hope and Charity..faith has not or will it ever disappear but the traditional Catholic Church as we knew has. It was not their purported Christian values that was rejected but their hypocrisy and abandonment of the values that they as supposed protectors of the faith sold for the thirty pieces of silver.

I did not bring myself into this world, what gives me the knowledge to live in it. God and his ways. Listen to what Jesus tells us. "Love your neighbour as yourself." " Love your enemies." Humans did not create the world. Listen to the one that did.

@@paulmacaree happily in the Western Church, particularly in Roman Catholicism (in contrast to Orthodox Churches) the idea of the sin of Adam and the Redemption is very different. In the west over the centuries we have been persuaded that our job here on earth is to saved from sin and to imitate Jesus. So much of what the Bishop said was reminiscent of “what would Jesus do?” It is indicative of a belief in God as a personality. This is something that no educated ADULT person can seriously accept today and is an example of the worst kind of pietism more appropriate for the 19th century than the 21st. Orthodox belief is more about identification with God through the logos exemplified by Christ, Jesus and that “Redemption” is more about healing than saving. We are to be healed by our identification with the risen Christ than by earning salvation through a slavish adherence to the imitation of the man, Jesus.
