- I love AGDQ, I hate Other M, I love Unreal Engine, so I made this!
This is something I've wanted to do for a long time, make an animation in an external program and do an effects pass and render from UE4.
I think I'll do this more often cause it's not only better than maya alone, but the materials and effects are way more flexible than anything SFM could ever put out!

I think you misunderstood the word "Prime"
Other M is the Metroid game released for the Wii, it takes place after Super Metroid and Metroid. It has a really dumb story but otherwise is a darn good game.

@Taste I am a fan as well, but I do not let my emotions rule my actions... Get over your petty anger and embrace Other M's existence! The Mario fans have not forgotten Hotel Mario, the Zelda fans have not forgotten the unholy Triforce, and the Crash fans have not forgotten Wrath of Cortex.
And all of those all actual bad games! The only thing Other M did wrong was the story. The Metroid fanbase has slowly devolved into monsters who hate changes. Do not wallow in ignorance, open your mind so it does not descend into further madness.

I can't believe they didn't hire DoctorM64 after making such a masterpiece game... most horrendous business practice I've ever seen from any company.
Slow it down to 0.25x and you can see that beautiful animation much better.

Can someone give me a clean summary of what Other M did right and what it did wrong, other than what I heard from a friend of mine (it created an unnecessary timeline split, was too fast-paced for a Metroid game, and the tl.dr. of its story is obsolete because there already was Fusion)?
