I love how isolated everything sounds and has that monumental depth. or in second verse, that double bass part. it has that monumental echo from it and doesnt sound plastic. another thing is, these sludgy drops, it sounds so complete and i am really fascinated by it. it starts at 3:40. there is that depth so nothing sounds hollow.
I went back and listened to it again and you are totally right. That was a great moment I did not touch on at all. When I listen to music it is generally the very first time I listen to it, so I am trying to take in all of the sound and audio production, songwriting and guitar work all at the same time. If it is a song I have listened to or studied a lot, then I will let you know at the beginning of the video. You had a good ear yourself for catching that. :)

I still need to listen through the whole album. I absolutely loved Norma Jean back in the day, but I think their sound had matured well. :)
