- I can only say, that buy now I've seen a lot by Rammstein, and they never disappoint. They have such a high standard and they just deliver everytime. So original, fun, edgy, freaky and a bit scary (haha), but there is never a dull moment with these guys. Well done!!

Being at a Rammstein show is an experience for itself. I was at their concert in MetLife Stadium, NJ, 2022 and even if you're not in the "Feuerzone" (the first few rows) you can still feel the bass in your chest and the heat on full blast. Everyone does love Rammstein, no matter the age, so everyone sings, claps together and the energy is amazing. Best live band!
Also, Rammstein just get better with age. Very few bands have been able to do what they have with just being around for so long, who keep putting out amazing albums and songs.

It's a song about friendship, loyalty and trust. There is no better song to send Flake on a journey with the fans in a boat. Because in order for him to come back to the stage in good health, trust in the fans is necessary.

I've been to a festival (Rock Werchter) during this tour and they were the headliner on Saturday I believe (LIFAD tour in 2010). The boat ride actually got Flake all around the beer-stand in the centre. And when he got back he had an inflatable shark with him. It was amazing.

Sadly, a band I have never seen live. Their forthcoming tour does not include the U.K..another by product of Brexit. Having enjoyed the sublime power of Du Hast live from Paris, this is quite a few steps down the power level…apart from the keyboard player aboard a dingy. Instead we have a song describing trust and similar traits that seem to be in short supply. I love this band…industrial metal at its best. Sabina..well chosen words to summarise what this band represent.
In this case I'd really prefer the official video because it really tells a story. But I know those often get blocked. Either way, nice reaction! :)
Rammstein shows are emotional roller-coaster rides. They are masters of manipulation where that is concerned, but in the best way.
This song, musically speaking, feels like an ode to Depeche Mode. Almost like a response to their song "Personal Jesus " in the way this song grooves. (I hope that makes sense.) It's well known that they have massive amounts of respect for Depeche Mode, after all, they covered "Stripped" which appeared on an industrial tribute album.

Flake once complained a bit about the boat rides he has to do (as he is the one with the least "to do" in terms of instruments and that you never know when you get back and where you end up. I'm wondering if his opinion on it changed over the years.
The song is based on a song in the 3 pence opera where Mack the Knife sings it iirc
You should check out Lindemann - Fish On. Till Lindemann and swedish multi instrumentalist Peter Tägtgren known for Pain and Hypocrisy. He writes all the music for Lindemann. In Pain Peter Tägtgren plays all the instruments. Check out their big hit Shut Your Mouth
I'm sure you've already seen it, but if not, you really should watch and listen to the entire Volkerball concert from Niemes. The bassist rides the crowd during Ich Will near the end of the concert.

Excellent choice if songs! Rammstein never fails to deliver! Try 'Deutschland' sometime, long vid, very cinematic, but watch the video, it tells an incredible story of the history of Germany.

I totally agree with you. Rammstein are Original in regards to their lineup never changing, their music and that they mainly sing in German.
Rammstein are my favourite band since 2018. Before that it was Duran Duran for 30 years. As soon as I heard Rammstein they replaced Duran Duran and became my favourite band. You don't need to speak or understand German to like Rammstein. I of course speak and understand some German.

Yes you`re right in their shows all is planed to the littles detail. They are Germans and love to plan. Haha. Side fact. The fake blood is coffee `cause it looks more dirty and the song is a variation of Bertolt Brecht`s 3 penny opera about Mackie Messer.
Every (educated) German knows that this song is influenced by Bertold Brechts "Drei Groschen Oper" ("Three Drimes Opera???). Interesting that Rammstein changes it to saya that the salt in the sea comes from the sharks in the sea.

I like two things about your reactions: 1 you do not interupt and instead you use subtitles and 2 you bypass all the gory and weird stuff and focus on the meaning of the songs.
