As always a great video...yup I have made that snorkel mistake :( One thing you can mention is don't dump too much air...I count to 3 and stop dumping and wait patiently as I descend. I have seen divers dump everything, drop too fast and run into equalization issues because of how fast they are dropping.
I have to say I love your channel, but the word "orientate" makes me crazy. The word "orient" is already a verb. You need to orient yourself. There is no need for the -ate at the end. Might as well say I'm going to to swimify along the reef.

I use the shoulder dump because I keep my Inflator hose bound to my BC strap so its always where I need it and not dangling around
