Tell me about your complete exhaust set up. You put headers on didn't you?

Yes it has headers. I run Flowtech shorty headers. Cats have been deleted and it is dual piping into an x pipe then shortly after it is a 2.5” dual inlet Borla with 3” outlet.

@@DRDROP-fj4bo Thanks! I’m thinking of changing it eventually but I want to see what it sounds like with a cam before I change it up. The part number is (40349). It’s a universal muffler from Borla.

Do you remember the part number for the headers you have?

Here is the part number, however this part number will require you to bypass the egr that goes to the passenger primary tube. 03-07 do not have this, only the 99-02 have it. I used an egr delete kit from LSX and I ran these headers since they have 1” 3/4 primary tubes.

I agree. I’m hoping that later this year I’ll have some time to install my cam. At that point I’ll see how it sounds and then decide if I’m going to change up the exhaust set up. Long tube headers are on the list of things to do so I’m sure that’ll change up the sound as well
