@@greggski3710Ehh I'd say it's remembered well it's gonna be like how 13 was where it has its fans doesn't make it a bad game think with development it sorta had just sucked and got the short end of the stick but ff15 will probably stay in my heart as a memorable experience cause of the characters. Story wasn't really that great but in terms of characters in the main party it's definitely up there.

The fact that the KH team worked on the battle mechanics is a huge plus, as well as the fact that Nomura was no longer the head. Last FF i played was FF6 on gameboy advance or something emulator on PC...im not a big fan of FF. HOWEVER This is simply majestic. I played the demo as well. It'll be day one purchase for me. This game is proof of what game developers can achieve if they dont fall for the yearly release trap like many other franchises have done lately. Creating video games is an art, it needs time and patience to be good. My sincere applause to the game devs of FF XV and all those involved in this project. Bravo.

Final Fantasy, my constant, I never abandoned you, I have been with you since I first saw my brother riding a chocobo on his (later stolen before he could finish it) copy of Final Fantasy VII and ever since I saw a stone tiger sheding crystal tears on our old, grey boxy PSX. Though I wouldn't touch the games until beating X when I was older, and more comfortable with my english, I always found you to be amazing. I have played every non MMO entry in your main series, (and a few spin offs) and liked them all (to varying degrees) I love you Franchise, don't let me down.
i want to have a deja-vu with this game, i want the excitement and the joy the old ones gave me. I'm sure this will be the final fantasy i have been looking for since X. Can't wait.
This is still to this day an awesome trailer. We always forget how many hours of work were put into this and as spoiled brats we are we just shrug it of as another game because tomorrow there's a new one.. but we never appreciate the actual work that was put into every tiny thing that we see here... thank you, to every employee who worked on this.. i really enjoyed every second of playing this Final Fantasy and everyone before it... looking out for FF16 though :D

+Writer Shard they have been some of the greatest adventures I've had in my 30 years of playing games, and don't worry if you ain't played one, each numerical "entry" is a different world/timeline/story anyway. (They add double numbers for direct sequels, like X, X-2, or XIII and XIII-2)
+Writer Shard the more recent FF titles haven't been toooo advrnturey, but I've been playing the original ones since 1997 and can confirm Final Fantasy VII through to X are the most adventurous games you'll ever play. Even VI if you like retro.

What you probably didn't expect was the intrusion of the "roadtrip" theme, something that has actually been in there since the Versus XIII days based on Nomura's comments when he was head of the project.
+JonAnonymous92 Yes the roadtrip theme was there and that's not what bothers me. It's the Shakespeare allusions that I don't see present in FFXV anymore. "There is nothing good or bad, but thinking makes it so" The very first FF vs XIII trailer really portrayed Noctis as a tragic hero. Maybe he still is but in my opinion he hasn't been portrayed in the same light since the change to FFXV. It is too early to tell though, I'll just have to wait till it's out. Maybe it will still have realistic and Shakespearean themes. I'm still super hyped for this game, I just would like to see the release of the game they had envisioned and shown 8 years ago, FF vs XIII.
There is evidence to suggest that is still the case - you just have to look for it. For example, the Dawn trailer hints that the Lucian King is carrying some heavy burden that he must pass along to his heir at some point in the future. In this trailer, Noctis is bewildered and upset when he realizes his father sent him to see Luna knowing that the peace accord would ultimately end in failure. It's possible Regis chose to keep his son out of the inevitable conflict because he knew Noctis would refuse to leave - instead choosing to stay and protect his home. There is something only Noctis and his friends seem capable of doing on the outside that can save Lucis ... Noctis realizes this and resolves to "take it from here". The pieces for a tragic story are definitely here ...

What happened to the original Japanese trailer from last night? The one with actual subtitles and not this RUclips closed captioning crap. Why was it removed? Every time it shows Japanese text on the screen the close captioning translates it and causes it to completely skip translating some of the sentences they're speaking. The other one was far better.
I could imagine this as a video game. "Call Of Junior Plush Ops 1" My favorite video has to be the sticky note video. It was really funny, and I could tell it took a lot of time and effort for you to make :-)
looks like an epic adventure. I have never been interested in the franchise, but this part is a must-play for me. Hopefully it will be available on PC too some day.

"There is nothing good or bad, but thinking makes it so" The very first FF vs XIII trailer really portrayed Noctis as a tragic hero. Maybe he still is but in my opinion he hasn't been portrayed in the same light since the change to FFXV. It is too early to tell though, I'll just have to wait till it's out. Maybe it will still have realistic and Shakespearean themes. I'm still super hyped for this game, I just would like to see the release of the game they had envisioned and shown 8 years ago, FF vs XIII.
There is evidence to suggest that is still the case - you just have to look for it. For example, the Dawn trailer hints that the Lucian King is carrying some heavy burden that he must pass along to his heir at some point in the future.
In this trailer, Noctis is bewildered and upset when he realizes his father sent him to see Luna knowing that the peace accord would ultimately end in failure. It's possible Regis chose to keep his son out of the inevitable conflict because he knew Noctis would refuse to leave - instead choosing to stay and protect his home.
There is something only Noctis and his friends seem capable of doing on the outside that can save Lucis ... Noctis realizes this and resolves to "take it from here". The pieces for a tragic story are definitely here ...

God damn. They sure wanted to make Final Fantasy Grand Theft Auto, didn't they? They must be so ashamed for having to put Neo Sasuke on a chocobo like that. After all, Final Fantasy has always been about going camping with your buddies in My Chemical Romance. Can't wait to play that gig in september!

+Manoahmanolo uhm it was shown at the show... at the very end. they announced their 14 bullet points, then said "oh and we have one more" and showed a 15 on the big screen behind em. THIS trailer played, and THIS trailer was the 15th bullet point.

Kareem Williams It's not one second long, it goes at least for the time range I pointed out in my original comment, though with slight changes, then repeats a few times. Anyway, I hear what people take into account for these kinds of lawsuits is number of notes in sequence, not time, but since there are slight changes I guess Square is safe.
What happened to the original Japanese trailer from last night? The one with actual subtitles and not this RUclips closed captioning crap. Why was it removed? Every time it shows Japanese text on the screen the close captioning translates it and causes it to completely skip translating some of the sentences they're speaking. The other one was far better.
