The tube with the bolt in it is normal - it's something that was used on other applications of the RV8, but wasn't used by TVR. It makes for a really handy high-point bleed when you come to refill the coolant. :) Great vids by the way - I have this job to do in the near future on mine - same colour car too. I think I'm having more fun watching you do it than I will when I come to tackle it!
I have a Tuscan which is going to require a body off restoration in the near future. Although yours is a Chim' there are a great many similarities in the construction and I am finding this very helpful. Please release part 3, I can't wait.
Great videos. Southways Automtive (Fareham) did a nice job of my outriggers a few years ago by doing a 'partial lift', but i would love to spend a few months lifting the body off and giving the car a proper going over some day. Many thanks

Just done my chassis restoration. My car is identical to yours p reg same colour with same dash with the rare green clocks.
