One of my favorite parts of NOTB is when y’all talk about music, so I am very happy to see a video like this. That Kid Cudi album is a classic. I’m gonna have to check out the Marvin Gaye album; I’m 27, but I never really gave older albums the time of day so thanks for putting me on. Great Lupe, Q, Drake, Kanye, and Nas picks! Just saw Lupe is concert last week. Truly one of the greatest technical hip hop talents of all time. His lyricism and breath control are unreal, especially in person. He freestyled for the last bit of the show just looking around putting bars together about what people were wearing and looked like, just crazy. Little Weapon is one of my favorite songs of all time. It’s rare to find the grandness that that track gives off in hip hop anymore in terms of production. Only song I can think of recently is Introvert by Little Simz that gives off that same feel kinda. Love this content P. Keep going
Great vid P, you should fs make more music content, I always enjoy when you and the guys talk music on the pod! Also great picks! What’s Going On, Piñata, and Illmatic are some of my all time favorites too! My personal favorite album of all time is Miles by Blu & Exile from 2020. You might not have heard it but I know you’ve heard their first album Below The Heavens from ‘07. That album was an absolute classic, but I think Miles is even better. It’s pretty long but there’s no filler at all, just amazing beats and rhymes all throughout, you should definitely check it out if you haven’t heard it yet!

He’s just my favorite and that’s okay. Get home safely by dom Kennedy is my 3rd fav album but it’s nowhere near the third greatest album of all time. Huge difference that people fail to accept.
