I'm very lucky because I bought it in vinyl (1981 edition) just yesterday, in a vinyl, cd and movie shop at only five euros. The sales assistant said me that the quality wasn't really bad but it could have cracks and other noises during the listening. I've tested it the same day, and I'm very proud of my purchase, because the quality is really good! I have nothing to say, only the fact that Porstmouth is "cropped" at the middle. Strange but not unpleasant because I got this song on the 2010 Ommadawn edition. I haven't hear QE2 so it's excellent to discover Sheba, Arrival and Celt on vinyl!! Very happy and lucky of this purchase. Have a good listening and day! CocteauPHP
Chapeau, mate... I don't know how many hours you have spent with corrections and mastering in Audacity, but the final result is AMAZING. Terrific resolution, brightness, very low background noise, perfect balance... I actually prefer the sound of this Ommadawn to the latest remix in the Deluxe edition (the guitar arpeggio is too in the background, for example). GREAT GREAT JOB.

J'ai cet album 33 tours (cm) qui m'a fait découvrir ce musicien de génie en 1981 car à l'époque je voulais avoir le célèbre titre "PORTSMOUTH" qui servait d'indicatif à une radio française.... et puis j'ai découvert tous ces morceaux.... quel talent cet artiste !!! Du coup j'ai acheté la version cd d'EPISODES à sa sortie aussi ! Merci d'avoir publié cet album en numérique je peux faire mes séances plein air de vtt en savourant cet album dans mes oreilles.... via mon smartphone connecté à RUclips
All included...great songs,lovely compilation,typically Oldfield,he plays so soulful each note...simply never gets boring,its like Vivaldi...if you like it,it becomes addictive to the listener...i for my part never can get enough of it,hahaha ! And i think i remember this record...saw it in a record shop in switzerland...but its long time ago...i buyed QE 2,Tabular Bells and Crisis which were fresh in their stock...had to decide,compilation or entire album...my wallet wasnt so filled with 16 years,hahaha ;-)
Je te donne une exclu : La piste 2 : Tubular Bells est la seule qui ne soit pas extraite réèlement de ce vinyle. Ma version était vraiment trop âbimée et les craquements et une énorme rayure sur toute la partie finale rendait la restauration impossible. J'ai donc utilisé la piste de mon vinyle du coffret "Mike Oldfield - Boxed". Amitiés musicales. R&UT

Excellent mix of "Ommadawn" part. 1 final, love it. This album led me to Ommadawn and Incantations when I was a teen, circa 1985.
