For the firmware update, there are 4 folders, are they specific regions or do i download all onto the USB?
Hello did you back up camera work after? After i installed mine the android auto works abd everything else but one thing i notice my rear camera wont show on screen anymore when im doing a reverse? Please help thank you ❤❤

I have the 2018 Mazda 3. I have version 70. I have not done the installation yet. Should I be able to see Android auto and car play as one of the options before I start? One of the screens.
From what i am aware of, it wont show the option until you have the hardware installed

as long as it's above 70.00.100 you don't have to update. currently the newest version available is 74.00.324, but CP and AA will work for you if you change the cables and hub

Mine only has wireless CarPlay, for some reason android auto will never work.. it’s there but it’s greyed out even when I plug in my phone
Depending which retro fit kit you got, the wireless carplay will only allow for apple car play, and i believe it doesnt allow for wired connections
