    a very nice pot...... it has a well balanced form and the indented lines draw the eye to the lid. i hope you'll show the finished glazed pot.

    @rubian77 If the clay pad is ribbed dry and the lid is leather hard (not too soft), it will stick to the chuck just enough to allow for trimming and still come off the chuck cleanly

    How the heck do you keep the leatherhard lid from sticking to the soft pad/chuck?? Just by keeping it very dry?

    @ThatLynnGirl : This was one of the first videos we shot so I think we've got the lighting thing down now! There's one more 'original' clip coming up (a different type of lidded jar) and then after I return from another workshop, we'll get some more posted here.
