Hi, Irena!. Nice to see U again back in Egypt. This Temple is absolutely amazing. Probably de last great ruler of Ancient Egypt. It´s similar to Abu Simbel with the ruler as Osiris statues. Also it´s awsome the deepth of the hieroglyphics, use to say the reason for this deepth it´s not ben usurped later for next rulers. Hope to see next videos, in the previous video of presentation i´ve seen you´ve been at Luxor and Aswan. Cheers.
Hey Ancient Sites, Egyptology is my thing so I really enjoyed this. Egyptian temples are much more interesting than the pyramids imho. They are jam packed with information that you so eloquently described. I look forward to the next one.....peace to ya.
Simply amazing the power of Rameses and his beautiful monuments. Today no President or King or prime minister has the power to have those monuments on his own name. Thank you for the video Irena, your friend in Key West Ingrid Holm.
I always learn a lot while preparing a new video. The Habu temple is wonderful, I will go back there again, I need to film the whole complex, especially the 25th dynasty temple of Amun!
Your videos are enchanting, if only education was as captivating as this. You are shining new light on the ancient world. If I could ask for one thing it would only be more and more and more. 🤡🤡🤡
Obviously I've been binge watching your videos.... Very well done in all aspects. Thank you so much We need to see that your channel receives many more subscribers. .. your dedication is beyond obvious..... Please keep doing what you do.
GOSH THAT WAS INCREDIBLE!!! No wonder why you love Ramses the third Temple so much. It really looks spectacular. THANKS AGAIN for producing such a beautiful documentary. If I ever make it to Egypt can I hire you as a tour guide? That is, if I could afford your fees. LOL STAY SAFE ALL THE BEST AND ALWAYS LOVELY IRENA!!🥂
Great video. This place is the best. wish some day i manage to go there. You describe the story very good. Thank you (was it difficult to go to Egypt cause of covid?? need test?? )
We are very glad to have your visit pharonic Rose hotel ❤We are waiting for you again as soon as possible, you and your friends Thank you all for visiting
On my 23&me dna results it said that I share a paternal lineage with Pharaoh Ramesses III. I never knew that much about him but now that I have seen your video I am curious to go to Medibet Habu to learn more about him as an ancestor of mine.
Nowy, cudowny film 🙂 Juhu! 🙃 I to z Egipu! Auuuuu!
Następne będą jeszcze lepsze ;) Pozdrawiam i życzę miłej niedzieli.
Great video from one of city's Gem 💎 👌in the chamber beside the holley of holl or the sanctuary of the temple. The depiction represents the number of offerings that the priest offered in front of the statue of God each day and it has to be fresh offerings 🫴 ...
Cześć Irena, as an ancient sites nerd myself, I love your channel! It's by far the best combination of in situ filming and a voice over with historical background. Please keep making the vids and don't lose hope. Definitely comment on other videos, because that's how I found about your channel. Btw, now that you're again in Egypt, I was wondering how you deal with the "guardians" of the sites? Do you give a lot of baksheesh, so they let you film, or do you arrange something with a local guide? I personally have a love-hate relationship with Egypt because of the incessant irritation by the touts and "guardians"... 😁 Best of luck to your channel!
Cześć Daniel! Thank you! Actually I have a great news for you! 😁 ONLY around two, three weeks ago a new law has been adopted. You are allowed to FILM with your CAMERA (not only cells or not only photos) almost everywhere without additional ticket or bakshish! Of course there are a few places, like f.e. tomb of Nefertari or Seti I where filming is still forbidden, but I've got to tell you, as soon as I got this info I was jumping out of joy 😂. PS you should see faces of some "specific" guardians, who told me - no camera - and I replied with - yes camera. :D Naturally some of them still try to get some bakshish for it. :)
Brilliant presentation. It always fascinates me the ingenuity of the Egyptians. Ive been here a few times. Going back again this year. Cant wait to explore some more. Thank you for the video... You have an exquisite accent too, English with a hint of scandinavian if im not wrong? Anyway thank you👊😉
Hi, the place is very beautiful. If you plan to go to medinet habu, on the right, next to the text about the occupation of sea people, before entering the temple, there are excavations. There is a piece of granite there, very beautiful, I would be very happy, if you took a picture of it, it's really interesting. It is similar to a yoni from India, or a device for olives.
It’s comically ludicrous how the Egyptians built the equivalent of whole entire cities for their temples Jean-Claude Golvin’s drawing of this temple shows it as having been 60% storage space anyway
Not only the size but also materials they made their temples of, were to ensure the indestructibility and "longevity". Exactly like the human existence, the temples were to be eternal.
