Ali, as I watch this, I keep thinking about how many years (years and years!) I have looked to you for ideas and inspiration. You have been faithfully dedicated to this art and to your business and to your people (family, friends, followers, etc.), and I appreciate you. ❤
Love your originality, always! So happy to see you will be posting how you are documenting this years stories. I like that it doesn’t have to be any specific formula. Also, I know some people love a used look on their stamps and blocks, but if you want to refresh, the Hero Arts Ultra Clean spray and a scrubber pad are miracle workers! ❤️❤️❤️
I had no idea what to do with that circle page until this. My girl started volleyball after the new year and I'm totally doing this, too. Thank you for sharing!
Absolutely love this spread & thank you for sharing the idea of the 4x6 album with Journal cards only - I have so many of them and that seems like a great solution to put them to use!!
Love this video, and love the idea of the ongoing story about the volleyball tournaments. I know that last year you did not participate in Project Life, so I guess my biggest question is what is the difference between how you are documenting your stories this year compared to last year? Is it just that last year you did documenting in multiple albums in multiple sizes? Would love to know! Determined to crush my kits this year!!
I think the biggest difference is the decision to keep everything in a 6x8 and actively moving from front to back in the album with pages adhered back to back when not in a page protector. Last year I did a variety of sizes (12x12 and 9x12 and 6x8) and they were in and out of page protectors. I haven't glued anything back to back in the 6x8's from last year.
Do you find that with using washi tape it wears down at the fold? I see lots of people do flip ups this way and would like to include some in my albums, but I always wonder about the wear.
I haven't run into a specific issue but I think you could do a double or even triple layer if you wanted a little more security. I think it also depends on how many people are looking through your album and turning all the pages.
Ali, I’ve only recently discovered you and i have a question. Do you do process videos on how to do the printing on the photos and to make the overlays? I don’t even know the proper terminology to use. Is it ever a part of your classes? Thanks. I’m enjoying your videos. Shirley
Hi Shirley! Yes - one of the classes we have that teaches those skills is called Hybrid. You can learn more about that here: www.aliedwards.com/shop/classes/hybrid-self-paced. I also did a blog series many years ago that covers some of the basics. You can find that here: aliedwards.com/2010/01/getting-started-digital-scrapbooking
Hi! Are you asking about the Begin Story Kit (the concentric circle paper)? It's currently shipping. We are still waiting on the previous kit to arrive in the warehouse (container shipments come at a variety of times + the Delight Story Kit was on a container that was delayed).

Fabulous
I'm so confused. When will we receive this kit?

@@AliEdwardsDesignInc yes! Thank you so much! I received the email after I commented here. I appreciate it!
If I subscribe to the Story Kit is it too late to get this Begin Story Kit.
Nope - it's the one that is now available! www.aliedwards.com/subscribe/story-kit
