Well I guess anyone whose updated their console and didn't get the Gamescript app is now screwed. I really wanted to see what game modding would look like on the One.
What is their objective in trying to send the game script to the store? System updates have already been released for the console, even if they arrive again no one will be able to download them.
hello i am actually not very technically sound on this and i have two doubts one is that i own an xbox one s and yesterday only i started searching for this exploit so can i still do it considering game script is removed from store and also would we be able to ever play AAA titles like in a xbox 360 jailbreak or a ps4 jailbreak
i have game script but not the file manager thing. i wanted to setup xenia on the xbox but it needs internet. since i dont have the file manager, isnt it already too late for me to even mod anything with gamescript? im thinking about saying f it just so i can emulate on this console because its basically a brick until the exploit team find something like ps3hen but for xbox anyway, right? plus somebody probably gonna be selling an old xbox they had sitting in a closet later on anyway so i can probably just do this emulation thing.

Barely made the window probably. I originally tried getting gs right when they pulled it. Could get to the landing page but no install button. Then right after it wouldn’t even come up in a search. Luckily some kind lads helped me and a few others get it by reuploading it. That ship has likely sailed now unfortunately.

People are already are able to dump their xbox one games and play them natively on windows with some workarounds so I don't think it's useless. I fully expect some significant things to come from this exploit in the future.

They use it for RGH 3.0, to unlock the memory of the Wii U now for the Xone wow!
It also does lvds to lcd panels, hdmi, lpc bus (pc and og xbox) etc. pio is just insane :D

Hopefully this will lead to further discoveries of exploits. A lot of content will be forever lost without it, such as Forza DLC.
I think exactly the same as you! Mainly Forza Horizon 2, as we were able to play Forza Horizon 3,4,5 on PC. But 2 and its Dlc's don't!

it literally says it does not allow piracy
Game/App dumping is possible by combining some other tools with this, but nothing in terms of installing or piracy.

Is this a one and done thing, or do you have to run the exploit on every boot? Because that's pretty annoying.
It's tethered, so you'd have to run it every boot.
My question is in regards to setting up the local LAN. I know you mentioned using an invalid DNS server but how do you set up the LAN correctly?
Any modern router will handle all the magic for you as long as you can connect your PC and Xbox to it.

I doubt it will ever be put back up on the store, especially since all the different methods were exhausted years ago with retail homebrew.
Does this mean that harder emulators can run like yuzu and pcs3 now that mesa has been ported?
I know UWP apps apparently have a 5GB memory limitation, I think Yuzu will likely be possible but sadly not RPCS3.
Side loading is being worked on, but keep in mind this is a pretty limited entry, so I'm sure the homebrew that we will see will have limitations.

no you can sideload uwp apps in retail with it on xbox one and one x consoles.
People are already are able to dump their xbox one games and play them natively on windows with some workarounds so I don't think it's useless. I fully expect some significant things to come from this exploit in the future.
