Ok but she probably had an increase likelihood of a heart attack because her heart which is usually inactive because she doesn’t walk around now have to pump more blood and oxygen to support her usually inactive muscles. Not saying that it isn’t her fault she’s so morbidly obese her heart might stop but just stating the objective truth.

As a service employee who has sustained physical injuries while assisting obese people; no. We’re not nurses or doctors, we don’t have special equipment. The employee was probably afraid that she’d wind up hurting herself trying to push this woman up an incline. Back, chest and leg injuries are no joke, and I doubt the employee gets paid enough. I’m all for people living as they want. I won’t judge or discriminate, but when someone is being asked to put their physical wellbeing at risk to assist a person who has let themselves become that big, I draw the line. I’ve kindly declined assisting larger people for my safety, and I’ll continue to do so. Naturally, we don’t know the whole story, but I do feel for that employee. Even with a wheelchair I couldn’t get that woman down a flat hallway, much less up a ramp.

The truth be told,Nurses and Doctors have far more resources and assistance in the caring for a person who is obese.
This person needs to let it be known she requires’Special AssIstance’ I.e. motorized WC at time of booking. How did she walk from ticket counter, through TSA,onto the gate? Something just doesn’t add up.,Was it really necessary for the bikini pic she posted? Her sense of entitlement doesn’t override an airport employee’s choice to protect herself from potential physical injury and harm.

@@CKLee-rs4klI’m a nutritionist specializing in reversing disease through diet and nutrition. I have a degree from Cornell in nutritional science. True, there are medical conditions that can make it difficult to exercise and maintain stable weight control, there however is no medical condition or diagnoses that causes morbid obesity. Even when individuals have severe food allergies or mobility issues, a diet tailored to one’s disability can significantly reduce someone’s medical issue. Poor diet even plays a significant role in people with mental illness and learning difficulties. The problem is, if we talk about it, we are being insensitive, or phobic, or hateful. The fact she can’t even make it the length of the gateway without being out of breath and ready to pass out tells me she is months away from a medical event that will end her life, not years. The fact that she is looking for reinforcement to validate her obesity and people just go along with it is the crime here. If you can’t even reach your own butt to wipe it she tells her and everyone else, it’s not a medical condition.

No. Overeating isn't one. However, it does ALWAYS get mixed in as the B.E.D.
The problem is that people who TRULY have B.E.D will eat ANYTHING and not be able to stop. People like her however, will only eat sweets and highly over processed and fried foods!!
There are three types of eating that leads to 0besity
      1. B.E.D (not as common as the body positivity/f@t movement claims it to be!!)
      2. A literal add¡ction to the chemicals in the processed foods, sugars and additives. ( not as uncommon as B.E.D. but still not too common either.)
And last 3. Overeating due to boredom, habit, depression or anxiety and just because you can.
There are health issues that also do not help but are NOT causes of 0besity (unless you have Cushing's Disease)
So, yes. There are eating d¡sorders and add¡ctions that do cause people to overeat. They are just not as common as people want to believe!
I have the chemical add¡ction. I know this because my doctor had several tests done. When I make everything from scratch (I mean truly from scratch. As in right down to all sauces dressings and dips.) I do not overeat. I am able to stop. But I am not able to with any restaurant, fast food or store bought food! It was interesting seeing the parts of my brain light up when I ate food with chemicals in them!
Anyways, don't assume that all 0bese people just overeat. While the majority do like the women in this video. There are those of us who really do have E.Ds Food Add¡ction.

Speaking as a obese man (495, though I'm on a weightloss journey and was 565 a year ago) the fat positivity movement is the most vile thing I've ever seen, it's people wanting a pat on the back for being unhealthy, being fat has zero positives, no good thing comes from it, and I feel bad for anyone that buys into it, I fight every day to control my urges because it is a addiction, but I would never expect someone to pay my way for being fat.

Great job on the weight loss! That's amazing! I myself hope to start shedding this excess weight. It was a heart sinking experience when I last traveled on a plane and had to ask for a seat belt extender (oddly enough on the planes back by the same airline I did not. Guess some plane models had naturally longer belts). And I'm always worried that I'm jutting into another person's seat. I don't want to get so bad that I need a second seat; if it came to that I would probably just not travel.

Her symptoms sound a lot like mine. On a really bad day I risk fainting which means I could hit my head. I can walk, but in some situations it’s better if I don’t. This woman did not get that size for fun, something is wrong mentally and/or physically and she may very well need to be wheeled. If the company agreed to provide ADA then they must honor it. If she is faking, then she needs to stop and seek mental health professional because that’s sociopathic behavior.

In March, I joined a slimming club and up to now, I’ve lost nearly a stone in weight. Result, I can now go on walks without so much discomfort, I don’t get breathless just going upstairs and I feel better already. I was on a flight with an obnoxious "plus-sized" young man ten years ago. At first, the airline had to move people so he could have two seats at the front of the section so he could fit.
The young woman in the seat behind stared warily at the stewardess having this guy sit in front of her. The "plus-sized" can't sit like most people and have to drop themselves from standing which he did.
Fortunately, the woman behind leaned back at that moment or she could have lost a hand. The guy's two seats leaned so far back that the UNOPENED can of soda the woman had on her tray table was crushed and exploded spraying the poor woman who was now trapped.
If the young woman made any noise I could not hear it over the complaining of the man. He kept complaining, "OH COME on. What is this. Come on." because the woman's struggling was annoying to him. The stewardess removed the arm rest so the woman could slide out. The stewardess asked him to lean forward but he didn't do that much so she could escape.
They couldn't put anyone in the seats behind the man so he got four seats for the price of one. After a few minutes the back of his seat was pushing on the front of the seat behind him but it held for the rest of the flight.
Each time the man went to the bath room, which was often, he leaned on everyone's headrest while walking to the back of the plane so no one slept on the overnight flight. When he was in his seat he listened to music on headphones but sometimes sang out loud in a reedy voice while drawing circles with his right hand. Other than that, he spent the rest of the flight yelling at people to open or close their window shade because apparently he was in charge of that.

Your body needs, on average, anywhere form about 1,300 to 2,000 calories a day just to survive (depending on various factors like weight, gender, etc.), which excludes any calories burned in exercise or other physical exertion.

It looked like she nearly passed away just getting from the wheelchair into the back seat. The worst part was I had to take her to get food.
