Love hearing stories of your childhood. It brought back memories. Kids were much more creative years ago finding things to amuse themselves . That creativity seems to have disappeared. Today’s society has too many untrustworthy freaks so parents have become overprotective and are more like helicopter parents . We’d be gone for most of the day out building forts or riding dirt bikes we just had be home for dinner and in the house when the street lights came on. It’s a different world today unfortunately. Cheers Woody !!!
Times definitely have changed! We used to go out and do all kinds of stuff. Our kids still go out I. The woods and build forts, cook out, etc. but not many do.
Another great podcast! The more listen to Hubie(?), the more I realize how similar we are even though I'm a little bit older. We could definitely have a good time hanging out and swapping stories!
Great Podcast..... Nice hearing from you guys.. Keep up the good work.....Watch your videos literally every day..... Lol... ohh Hello from NJ...... I had my central boiler for 18 years before it decided to have several leaks....... But they are nice and can save you lots of money...... Have a good night and can't wait till the next video..... Thanks again..........
Agree with Heath about yoga.. - I liked your stories.I got one, about ther time I went 90 mph on an old, wobbly, bent frame bicycle, holding on to the door handle of Mom's '54 Olds 98! Country highway (narrow, no shoulder), big dip, couple hudred yards side to side, semi truck coming the other way, car scooted way over to make room, guardrail right up next to road, and Mom kept accelerating, trying to make me turn loose! You CAN'T turn loose or it's certain wreck! Maybe up to 40 mph, but not the speed we were going. She slowed down again as we got to town. I never hitched a tow from her again!! For some reason, that true story always stops the childhood memories stories from everybody else. I still hitched rides, but only from people I deemed sane!
My mom is from Michigan and my grandmother. My great grandfather was a contractor for Kris kraft boots. He did all the cabinetry work on them. My mom n is from Algonac. We had to go to. Bed at 7:00 in the summertime.
Who were those neighbors you grew up with Heath, the Sopranos kids? Oh those kind of big racks, thought you were talking about the good ones- a least we had one set!😂 Take care you two
Sorry Rachel, but I'm with Heath. Just be gypsies and see what happens. Trust me on this Heath, not a lot of people know this, but I've trained and competed in weight lifting for the last 30 years. My best workouts at the moment are 30 minutes 3 days a week. I do 20 minutes of push and pull exercises and 10 minutes of squats 3 times a week. No running, just walking on other days. No More No less and you'll be surprised.
We could go for miles and my mom never knew where we were. We had a pond with beaver houses which we would play hockey then sit up on the beaver lodge. We would shoot arrows at each other with a 50 lb wood bow. We were lucky to be alive.
Great content. I don’t know much about the podcast world. Time to explore and try something different. LOL !!! if your driving south swing into the wood yard your always invited. Be safe.
Heath we should have grown up at the same time. Your childhood sounds so much like mine. But I'm a hundred years older than you. LOL Kids don't grow up today with these kind of experiences.
I'll always admire Michigan! I worry about Dearborn, Michigan. Seems like a liberal hive from what I hear. My Mom (UP Michigan), wouldn't let me watch Gilligan's Island. It was too silly/goofy to her estimation. Don't say, thanks little buddy! I'm older.. LOL
using my split wood! -6.5F @ 08:00 2/28. Living room was 55F now it's 71F. I just You Tubed Placida, Florida. Punta Gorda Englewood Beach! Check out their web cams. Trying to help. My neighbor on road 'Snow birds' there (ha!). Trying to help! I got that all wrong, he's more like West of Tallahassee I think. Anyway, He's not on the peninsula. Right, who cares!! LOL
Go Florida with all Newfoundlander there Canadian snow birds , if you love drinking rooster 🐔 foot with beaver 🦫 ice 🧊 and black horse 🐎 beer 🍺. Great story’s Heath. A lot of those I can relate to 😂. Some of the things we did, it’s a miracle we are still alive.
Yes it is Scott, I wonder sometimes how we got away with what we did uninjured.
I just love you guys! You are so much fun! God bless you! Chip
Thanks Chip!!

Right, I’m life trained!

Great to see both of you. Honestly.
Thanks Stephen.

Definitely my type of living.
Thanks guys, always a pleasure.
You’re welcome, appreciate the feedback.

Thanks Kenny, that’s awesome. When I workout I do the short intense workouts nothing long or drawn out.
We could go for miles and my mom never knew where we were. We had a pond with beaver houses which we would play hockey then sit up on the beaver lodge. We would shoot arrows at each other with a 50 lb wood bow. We were lucky to be alive.
Oh yeah we did some pretty questionable stuff for sure.
Great content. I don’t know much about the podcast world. Time to explore and try something different. LOL !!! if your driving south swing into the wood yard your always invited. Be safe.
We’re still going to put them on RUclips. We just started a podcast channel. It’s called Hard Working Man Podcast.
I hate Florida especially during the summer. I agree with Heath. Don't flog me Rachel.
The summer in Florida is bad, I’d agree with you!
Thanks Stephen, definitely way too hot in the summer.
Heath we should have grown up at the same time. Your childhood sounds so much like mine. But I'm a hundred years older than you. LOL Kids don't grow up today with these kind of experiences.
Hopefully my kids have some of these stories when they grow up.
👍🏻👍🏻👋👋
Thanks Noel.
Heath you need to lift weight because Rachel show you up 🆙 in the wood 🪵 yard for sure . 😊😊
Yes she does.

Yeah our temps are supposed to drop tonight. My daughter is down in Florida, unfortunately she lives in a dorm so we can’t stay with her.
Hey wait, let me make a call and get back to you by tomorrow. I have an idea.

My dad watched bowling. Talk about boring. 🥱
Oh yeah, we watched that too.
