- This is what it says on the tin. It’s the spies are forever songs ranked + my dumbass commentary.
Like it says in the actual video: I love all the songs (maybe not equally, but I love them all nonetheless) there isn’t a single song I don’t like in this show.
This is also obviously subjective but if you are wondering what I was looking at when I decided, it was entertainment, skill, importance to the narrative, and emotional impact. Emotional impact meaning: if it was supposed to be funny, how much did I laugh. If it was supposed to be sad, how sad did I get?

I tend to put Eyes on the Prize II higher solely because of the dedication to a dramatic sad gay flashback.
Seriously, Joey has like 25 seconds to change and get up on the catwalk just so Curt can be sad for 3 seconds.

Happy to see the prince song this high, but putting "Spies Are Forever/The Coldest Goodbye" so low on the list is a war crime

I think we can all agree that all the songs are amazing but in my opinion Torture Tango is number one. Just... everything, from the emotions I get because I know the context to the layers toward the end.
Torture Tango is my second favorite my first favorite is one step ahead!

Alice Aloi I agree completely. I’ve always thought eyes on the prize I would sound better in a significantly lower key, which is why I don’t like it as much. I still love it though.

My favorite song is the reprise Owen sings during the climax. It's so fucking emotional and I just love everything about that scene. But, it's not really considered a song, so that's why The Coldest Goodbye might be my favorite song, just because it's pretty close to what Owen sang in that scene.

Just discovered this video 3 years later and it inspired me to think about my own ranking:
1 Torture Tango (always and forever, it is simply perfect)
2 One Step Ahead ("this is what you made me do! This is it, we're done, we're through!" + including the Coldest Goodbye Reprise by Joey!)
3 Spies Are Forever (iconic title number)
4 Somebody's Gotta Do It (Again: love the Tango, Sergio's character plus the ICONIC Walker-Richter duett combo we know and love from MAMD)
5 Doing This (this whole scene is the best parody of stupid Bond-movie clichés, it makes you cringe and laugh so much at the same time)
6 The Coldest Goodbye (the simple instrumentation and MK's voice make for such a haunting song)
7 Not So Bad (the worst catchy song ever, plus I love the harmonies on "But sir, now it's in your hands: the nazis have a second chance")
8 One More Shot (hyping us all up for the finale)
9 Prisoner Of My Past (kinda like Coldest Goodbye, the haunting piano+MK combo is amazing)
10 Spy Again (the lyrics and the different emotions that Curt goes through are so well written)
11 & 12 Eyes On The Prize I & II (Both versions are great though the "oooh" part where Owen appears is heartbreaking)
13 Pay Attention (the lyrics are just once again perfect for the song)
14 Spy Dance (what a bop to get us all on our feet and end the show with good vibes)
15 Spy Again (Reprise) (Curt's little emotional speech at the end and what the piano plays during it are so great together)
16 We Love The Prince (The chorus is really fun but somehow that song has never clicked with me like the others)
17 Not So Bad (Reprise) (still a good song, but cannot compete with the full lenght version)
18 Barb's Lament (I cannpt help but compare this to Mrs. Mega's little lament at the end of Doing This which I like much more)
Hmm, maybe I'm a little biase because "We Love The Prince" is the only song that I haven't completely translated yet for my German version of the show that I started to write last year. It's so hard to translate!
I just need to accept that Doing This is my favorite song in the entire show and be done with it.
So basically MK’s character(forgive me for forgetting her name) is Natasha Romanoff. Like, she radiates serious Black Widow energy, they have similar backstories, and are coincidentally both redheads.

I guess he must’ve gotten out just in time, because Curt ran out straight away and the coldest goodbye only takes about 1 minute, and the timer was set for three minutes. Maybe he got out?
@@bellac6311 I guess that makes sense, but right before he fell there was that rumbling noise where everyone stumbled and that's when Curt was like "oops I set it to 3 minutes not 4" and Owen was like "oh Curt you're going to be the death of me" and fell. I thought the rumbling and stumbling was the bomb about to go off and even if there was still a minute left on the bomb the coldest goodbye was a minute long, and Owen was still lying there bleeding for the whole song

Owen explains that if he and Curt relock the safety barriers then they can limit the blast then most likely proceeds to do so while Curt sets the timer on the bomb so that's probably how he survived. The wizard theory's great though
