I've always wanted to tackle this figure, but the cost of replacing it if I messed up always scared me. Love the new style of filming, and what you did with this figure, it looks great!

I liked the new filming style. It does make it easier to see what you're doing.
Loved the final result. Wish I knew how to dry brush silver details like that :)
As for the prepping of the figure I would at least wash it with soap. At the very least it would remove dust and any finger grease.
I do different prepping for different figures: if it's just a easy repaint I would just wash, if a more detailed repaint I would use a sponge sander (don't know what they're called it's used for fine sanding) but if it is a full custom I do disassemble and sand down and dremel the joints too. Like you said, different styles, do what works for you :)

You should try to make the mc farlon action figure look better lol
The fact that it's a massive figure and not a skin tight suit really helps with the whole diaper problem that some figures have.

Hello, it looks fantastic on you, Ken I Make it, could you do a makkari repaint of the eternals?
I’ve always been curious why you never use actual metallic paints and opt for a gloss coat instead? Not judging, I still think your work is awesome I was just curious.
The dollar stores only have gold and silver metallic paints. One time I was testing the varnish and realized it gives a similar effect + sealing the paint so it stuck with me 😅😅

The colours of the original Hulkbuster are too sharp. It is like a novice Hulkbuster. The fixed one is an experienced and confident Hulkbuster.
It looks like a hot toys figure now.
I will say Ken, you should definitely at least wash the figures with soap and water. They spray figures with this release agent before it gets set into packaging in order to ensure the figure won't stick to its plastic tray. The release agent does tend to resist paint so this simple step really could save you a lot of trouble and make your paint apps stronger.
