His last two releases since the end of the rap battle between him and Kendrick have been major blows to himself; With Sexy Red it felt like he tried to elevate himself amongst whatever ‘U My Everything’ was supposed to be, but was lost due to the whole song being indigestible.
With this, I feel like it’s self-explanatory why it didn’t hit. When I first heard it, I immediately went back to the Plain White Tee’s version to cleanse; I couldn’t make it through without skipping and dropped it not even halfway into it. This really feels like we’re getting soulless corporate-generated word salad.

Not to mention Drake and Delilah have history with each other. Only Delilah is not a person but a night club in West Hollywood where allegedly Drake's peoples committed assault on someone back in 2018 who worked there

it’s a comedic song for toronto to basically only understand. It was hilarious hearing everything that we use on a daily basis in such a hilarious format. Song is funny if you’re from here. If you’re not from here then it won’t make sense to you. It’s trash on purpose as that’s snowd4y’s comedic style. He’s a comedian here in Toronto who makes skits and parodies. The original parody song has been a funny meme here for a while and Drake is just adding to joke/meme. It’s not that deep dude.
