    Wes, as newbie woodworker, I am certainly learning a lot from your video tutorials. It takes me some times to workout your cutting dimensions, but get there eventually after several views of the particular video. Nevertheless, I thoroughly enjoy your videos.

    I normally use a half lap for the muntins. Your method is a creative alternative for retrofitting 15 degree bevel Shakers.

    I love the mullions; how did you cut them being so narrow? And, How did you find the angle on the router bit set for the stiles and rails?

    Hey Wes I'm going to make some built in cabinets in this style, do you think it would look weird to have the muttons (cross pieces around the glass) be quarter sawn white oak and the rest of the cabinet fir? Since the muttons are so narrow I wanted them to pop with unique grain/rays and obviously fir aint good for that... but however I don't want it to look like I just bought some pane frames and stuck them into a fir cabinet willy nilly either, thanks for any tips

    Wes, can I update my flat cabinet doors with a frame to get a country look. Doors and boxes are custom from the 60's. All are very solid. I want to update and paint the old ugly light varnished color that shows wood grain.

      Sounds like a great project. You might find it easier to build new doors and drawer faces to go on the updated finish of your existing cabinet boxes. I have done that many times with great success. Hope this helps. Wes

    Thank you for this project! Can you please tell me what router bit you used to cut out the lip for the glass?

    • @WoodworkingWithWes
      @WoodworkingWithWes  2 года назад +1

      The lip for the glass is created with the stile and rail router bits used to assemble the door. I just remove the back portion that would hlod the panel in creating the lip for the glass. I hope this helps. Thanks, Wes

    Rather than talking about "work your math correctly", how about giving us the measurements YOU used!

      Hi...because you will be building doors to fit your particular project, I felt it was more important for viewers to understand the math process rather than give any measurements. Thanks for watching. Wes
