Did this bike already have the NRG handlebar conversion? I’m restoring a 1998 typhoon 50 and the throttle assembly and front brake setup are very different. The throttle on the bike I have is horrendous, I’ve stripped and cleaned the junction box under the foot plate but it’s still stiff and very slow to return to closed throttle. I have the stem conversion for mx bars but I am trying to find out what throttle unit and brake set up is best. I want to retain the oil pump and cable for ease of use but I have considered using a “pit bike” single cable and then premixing the fuel. Great work on the channel by the way!
Good idea about the PVC pipe. 👍
