I was using the Cineeye II and recorded the screen so you can see the settings I used. Other than what you cant see is file format which is RAW, but the rest you can see on the screen. Nothing crazy in settings, you just need a source of light and proper shutter speed.
i just picked up this combo , and already love it. any advice, on base set settings to start for night shooting? daytime i think im ok at so far.. but havent tried night time
Very generically, you probably wanna have your aperture wide open to let the most light in (f1.4), also make sure your shutter speed is not lower than lets say 1/200 or 1/250s and you can control that by increasing ISO
Impressed by how much you get out of that battery. I have three batteries. They all drain a couple of percent per minute, for just having the screen on. One is the original that came with the camera (barely used).
I've heard people complaining about these batteries, but I've never had any issues. I have 3 original and 4 Neewer batteries and all work perfectly on A6000 and A6400. I don't remember a day when I went through more than 1 battery.
If I missed it my apologies but for shooting this video footage what camera are you using? Is it the A6000 as well? Really enjoying your content and learning.
Yes my friend, its my phone. I use it to be able to record my EVF (screen of what the camera "sees") so you can follow along on how I do the composition, settings etc. I made a video about it - check here: ruclips.net/video/O6aFT4mZ7Y4/видео.html
I want to ask bro, do you use a cellphone above the camera, if so, how do you connect it so you can see the camera screen on your cellphone, do you use an application or just use a cable to connect, please answer bro, I'm a Sony a6000 user, please help me
Im using a combination of several things, but most important thing is device called Cineeye - check here in this video how I did it: ruclips.net/video/O6aFT4mZ7Y4/видео.html
Hi, would you Recommend Sony A7ii over A6300, no shooting video mostly Portrait, landscape, street and Night. Please let me know your opinion,I really need to upgrade soon.
Hey Willian, uhm not really. If you don't intend to shoot videos then there is no need to get the A6300 as thats a perfect camera for videos. I would rather recommend Sony A6100. And if you are a beginner, there is no need to go into full frame (A7II), all the lenses will be so expensive.
Of course it will do the job @@willianchris2565 it's just that you are overpaying for features you are not gonna use. A6300 will have the same performance as A6000 in photo mode.
Hi Dear Toms I have a question out of this video how many hours do I need to charge a camera A6100 totally new for the first time??? Hope you get me some answer🙏🏼
I just don't understand why people do this. You are shooting at 1/800 for a still image so you have to then crank your ISO to 1600 and make everything grainy and unusable. If you just lower your shutter speed to 1/60 or even 1/40 you are going to let way more light into the lens without needing to turn up your ISO.
Well there is a reason you dont understand. Why would I not shoot at 1 second shutter speed? It will let even more light in :D To be serious, first of all, I was shooting with 56mm lens (if you didnt notice), thats aprox 85mm full frame equivalent. If you would know this, then you would ask why I am not shooting at 1/160s instead of 1/40. There is a rule of thumb that if you want to avoid shaky footage you need to have your shutter speed double the focal length (if not more). Second, I rather crank up ISO and have a bit of noise (for my taste) rather than have an unusable blurry photo. I can live with grain, but can't live with blurry photos. Yes, sometimes there is enough light and shutter speed will be 1/800, but sometimes there is not enough light even with ISO 1600 and shutter speed will be barely 1/200. I rather have grain than stop my model million times to adjust ISO for each shot as its waste of time and unproductive. And if you are a professional and need top notch photos, you will not shoot with a6000 but rather get a proper full frame camera where ISO 1600 is peanuts. I hope now you understand "why people do this" :)
@@TomsJurjaks I have used up to 70mm lenses on aps-c sensor cameras, and I haven't once had a shaky image at 1/60 unless I have been trying to do it on purpose. My point was that your model was static and not moving. The a6000 line has good enough autofocus that you don't need to worry about a blurry image unless your model is moving. On the other hand, the fact that it has an aps-c sensor means it's low-light performance is pretty bad, as you said. And that is why in situations like this, you want to maximize the light getting into the sensor rather than bringing up the iso. 1/800 shutter speed is overkill for even moving vehicles. Why in the world would you use it for a motionless human at night? It makes no sense at all. 'Rule of thumb that if you want to avoid shaky footage, you need to have your shutter speed double the focal length...' But I was specifically talking about you taking a photo, not a video. A still image will not become shaky unless you move your arm or the model moves when taking a photo and 1/60 is more than enough shutter speed to deal with slight movements without blur. I could understand the high shutter speed if you are shooting sports or something with action, but there were times when the model was just standing still, yet you went ahead with a super high shutter speed. I wasn't picking a fight with you; I see this issue often. I was simply leaving a tip since it looks like you don't know your way around camera settings all that well. But if it's intentional, then it's okay. You can shoot images however you want to. Good luck. I wish you all the best.

Yes!
Hi Toms, i an confused that why your 3200 iso photo is so clear. But my photos with 1600 iso are not clear enough. BTW, my Camera is a6000 too.
There are many things you can do to minimise noise especially in lightroom when editing the picture (like reducing the noise or dropping shadows etc).
