@@Mike-pd6np sound in cs 2 even with equalizer preset for CS 2 is awful. You can't even recognize, if an enemy is 1 metre from you or half map further. If you hear steps, you don't know if its on the left, on right, or above you. You feel like in chaos, zero pleasure from the game. Steelseries did it perfectly, simple arctis nova wireless 4 or 7 with cs2 present let you hear everything in details, right side steps mean someone will come from right, you can even hear steps from half of the map and where enemies are going.

Still rocking them with 0 scratches, its like they just came out of the box. Only thing i would be worried about are the hangers. i see many ways for them to break

Honestly, this is the first headset that’s come close to the replacing my Beyerdyamic DT 990 Pros. For gaming they are Incredible. I’ll be using them for the foreseeable future at least.

Idc what the Razer haters say…v2 pros are the best headset you can get for 200 dollars period. In my opinion it’s not even close. The mic alone to me makes it worth it. There are better options obviously if you wanna spend closer to 300, but to me it’s not even worth it with the value these provide. Even music with these sounds pretty good once you eq them. If you’re reading this and are stuck between these and something else trust me when I say you will NOT be disappointed!
DONT BUY THIS HEADET!! it is the worst quality headset i ever had. yes the drivers and mic is good. but the quality is sh*t, it breaks after weeks. mine broke after 4 weeks, never dropped it always treated with care and it broke out of nowhere after 4 weeks. i contacted razer they said its my own fault and that it doesnt break out of nowhere. while it clearly a quality issue/factory issue. they have a sh*t customer service too. i have the normal blackshark v2 for almost 3 years now dropped it so much because of the cable getting stuck under my chair. it still works perfectly. and this v2 pro broke out of nowhere after 4 weeks without dropping it once. choice is yours im just warning. i just lost 300 dollar because of this piece of sh*t headset dont make same mistake as me :)
I really think this would have been the perfect headset if they only included the simultaneous Bluetooth + 2.4 audio like the Arctis Nova Pro. But apart from that , it's a superior headset in my opinion.

Definitely this. The HS80 from Corsair has a great mic too, but picks up so much background noise. This is the one I settled on and am very happy with it.
THE worst headphones I ever had for CS 2. Nightmare. So expensive and so bad. First of all, they press head too much. Secondly, ready made preset in Razer Synapse for CS 2 is so bad. The sound in CS 2 makes you not know, if the enemy is on the left, right or maybe above you! I felt completly distracted. All individual changes in equalizer didnt improve the sound in CS 2... You pay so much money and you get sound worse than in regualar cheap headphones.. Only one adventage is microphone which is great.
Bit of a stretch, but just picked up a pair of these, should I consider getting an extended warranty (its 20$ for 3 years and the company has been reliable in the past for replacements)? Reason is I heard so much mixed feedback on the build quality and just overall quality of Razer products.

Hi, I've seen comments about this model that it has static backround noise that won't go away. On previous models, you can fix this by adjusting the volume on the headset but now that the volume on the headset is directly integrated to the OS, it's not possible to do now. Have you experienced the said background noise on this?
I ordered mine and got them yesterday and all I can say is, absolutely there is static noise that won't go away no matter how you connect it or what you do, updating the firmware apparently helps a little, but even after doing that I see no difference and it does my ears in. I had to suffer with a headset before that had the exact same issue for months without realizing the effect constant static has even if quiet. Absolutely do not buy this headset if this is a dealbreaker for you. Don't know if all models have this issue, but I would not be willing to gamble if I were you. I will be returning these as soon as possible.

I would. I have the 2020 version and although they’ve held up over time the adjustable headband becomes loose and the mic begins to lose it’s bend

how is the bass is it heavy and deep as the razer nari ultimate ?
No. It’s quite flat I would say.
But if you tweak it right you can get it quite deep in base if you also use the bass mode profile
