I'm a soft tissue ,manual myofascial physical therapist of almost 28 yrs and I work w dozens of hi profile pro athletes. My take:I think he was hit on the floating rib and with multiple hard blow to his QL (quadratus lumborum) and hence the lumbar spine. The force seemingly short circuited exiting nerves of the lumbar spine all the way to down his sacrum. If you look carefully he had a moment of foot drop so the entire sciatic nerve down to his tibial and common Peroneal nerve was shut down. I've never seen this before having watched boxing for over 40 years. Inoue must have bricks in his fists...a real Monster..very scary power. I hope Doheny recovers. He tried hard but it just wasn't enough. Congrats to Inoue.
Yes, I think that's correct.
When a southpaw fighter positions himself with his center of gravity back, it's easier for Inoue to focus his attacks on the right body.
Great analysis I believe you're really a Therapist 👏👏👏
Thank you I’m learning about anatomy so learning how these injuries be happening in my favorite sport is very interesting
Its much more impressive when you know inoue is using winning gloves which are called pillow gloves, they have thicker padding and offer the most protection out of any gloves. It is said that it decreases punch intensity by 40%. Imagine inoue wearing cleto reyes, a punchers glove. Inoue wore cleto reyes during his second fight with donaire and knocked him out in 2 rounds where an old donaire is at his strongest.
It's a risk reward thing since Inoue hurts his hand badly when boxing with the cleto Reyes boxing gloves@@mountainman077
Inoue has the highest KO ratio in world title fights with 90.9% in boxing history🥊🥊🥊
23W - 21KO in WORLD Title fights 🥊🥊🥊 As of September 3, 2024.
Naoya Inoue is the ONLY Undisputed boxing champion as of September 3, 2024 🥊🥊🥊
NOT Terence Crawford, NOT Uleksandr Usyk, NOT Canelo Alvarez, NOT Jermell Charlo 🥊🥊🥊
Champions at 126lbs WBC Vargas, WBC Interim Figueroa, WBO Espinoza are similar fighting form/styles with Antonio Margarito. Always in the front, less head movement, flat footed (no in & out, no side-to-side), throws wide punches, volume puncher, very brave.🥊
Another champion at 126lbs WBA Nick Ball is the smallest 5'2", shorter reach, not a power puncher, not a KO artist, not a finisher.🥊
And IBF 126lbs champion Angelo Leo is almost similar with Vargas, Figueroa, Espinoza. 25W - 12KO. Lost to Stephen Fulton, having a hard time against a mover or technical fighter.🥊
The most skilled and talented among the 126lbs boxers is Robeisy Ramirez - 2x Olympic Gold medalist of Cuba 🇨🇺.
He lost to Espinoza via 12rd majority decision, but if they will do a rematch Robeisy will beat Rafael Espinoza 🥊
Naoya Inoue deserved the #1 P4P best fighter and contender to be the FOTY 2024 🥊🥊🥊
Not true....
@@junbautista2987 It was all facts except Beterbiev has 100% ko rate. So he would have the highest ko rate but he has way less world title fights.
@@junbautista2987 --- Wrong. All are based on facts. In addition Artur Beterbiev has only '9' world title fights. 🥊🥊🥊
Sean Gibbions is 0-3 straight against Inoue 😂😂
3-0 for his bank account
@@InsideBoxingLive true lol
Wouldve been a 0-4 if casimero stayed with mp promotions 😂
And his stable fighters collected huge multiple L against Ohashi Promotions fighters. He's basically Hideyuki Ohashi's b*tch
@@mountainman077 casimero is a beast before he became a youtuber tsk tsk what a waste of talent.
I believe Inoue knows 126 is his limit. However if he states that he’s going to move up, none of the current champions will want to fight each other and they will wait for the Monster Money fight. I think he wants to become the first 3 weight undisputed champion and he would prefer to do it in just a couple fights as opposed to fighting 4 different guys that refuse to fight each other.
I watched the fight 4 times and got inoue winning all rounds. When you’re so good like inoue, people expect you to be perfect every round but when you get hit a little, people will say you lost that round. Please watch it again and again. TJ won 0 rounds.
The same thing they do to Canelo and did to Floyd. Just how far above these guys are in levels
😂😂 tim bradley commentary made me spit my beer
Tim will say anything 😅
Yo the first round tim was already throwing shade and than complement inoue game and than do it through the whole fight .
@@BentleyVBTim is always biased
Tim's commentary growing on me😂
Tim has said many good thing about inoue but he is a bum commentary
“I broke my back. Spinal.”
- Mike Tyson (and now TJ Doheny 😂)
Whoever is the #1 rank featherweight, that's who Inoue is going to fight. No build up needed. 2024 is the year where all the featherweights can go for glory and cement themselves with one of the 4 world titles. Angelo Leo knocking out Lopez for the IBF definitely deserves Leo being the top featherweight. But the tall lengthy fighter in Rafael Espinoza is someone we can't slide as he deserves the top featherweight crown after beating Robiesy Ramirez and Chirino. Then you got the nonstop pressure fighter in Nick Ball who gave us one of the best fights of the year by beating Raymond Ford. My honest opinion, Brandon Figueroa need to fight Vargas and become the sole WBC title holder. We got a plethora of featherweights for Inoue but the monster gonna knock them all out and we get to see him fight back in the states in 2025!!!
I heard Junto and Naoya will fight on the same card in Vegas. They should make junto vs takuma Inoue unification, and Naoya vs Mj. That’ll build the junto vs Naoya fight so much.
Nah I love how y’all are cool with making Nakatani move up, but they’re scared for Inoue to move up to 126 clowns
@@marq_bro I’m not managing them, I’m not making anybody move up lol. I would absolutely love for Inoue to move up, but I’m just going off the hints I’ve been seeing, I think they’re building that fight up.
Inoue looks much smaller compared to this guy he fought earlier this morning. 126 is gonna be a big ask. The Nakatani fight would be blockbuster in Japan.
Agree all around
naoya in a post fight interview said he came at 136 and DOHENY CAME IN AT 145!
He practically fought a featherweight. TJ rehydrated back to 145 pounds. Junto won't be ready yet though
Junto definitely ain't ready. He hasn't accumulated enough experience to tango with Inoue at this moment
Arum would be crazy to set up Inoue/Nakatani. They are both signed up with him and whomever lost would be devalued.
I've been huge fan for years I want to see Inoue live verses Nick Ball in 2025 imagine seeing Nakatani inoue wow that would be huge. (Nakatani 118 unification fight of course) Celebration of moving up to gain his 5th division championship win
If inoue indeed says at 122 I'm so ok with that Inoue is my rock star fighter
Nakatani in 2025 or 2026 is good wish too. Though I like this fight at 126 in 3 years.
Nakatani is one of my favorite fighters in the world but I really want to see him fight Bam. So many in the boxing community think Bam is worthy opponent for Inoue but before thinking of fighting the monster, he need to beat one of the top 10 P4P fighter in Nakatani. Before Inoue retires, both of these Japanese boxers will be top 5 P4P in the world and we'll see a mega P4P showdown in the Tokyo Dome at featherweight.
Nakatani needs to fight bam first or unify the belts at 118. Inoue needs to go to fight the champions at 126. I see him walking through those guys easily
Inoue fighting in the states, with Nakatani as the co-main should be in LA!
No that will be in Japan at the Tokyo dome
@mitch20003 Inoue against Nakatani yes but Bob wants them both on a card in Vegas. That should be in LA imo especially with the huge Japanese population in LA and the Dodgers player that is super good atm
@@29_XXIX oh ya definitely.
@@29_XXIX you got shohei that will go watch
Junto in Japan, bam, shu shu, robiesy in america
I hope Nakatani can get Takuma Inoue first to really build up the Monster vs Nakatani into the super fight it deserves to be. Story line would be crazy
The monster has already been to America.
INSIDE BOXING , DA BOTTOM LINE IS WHO WANTS TO GET KNOCK OUT THAT'S IT .
Don’t think it wont happen again as Inoue’s trainer who is his dad, hates getting on plane!
I think doheny tore the QL or Psoas muscle, which is connected to the lower spine and 3-4 nerves are sitting right under that small muscle. I actually got injured from this during lifting and over stretching it and i couldnt walk or stand up straight at all. Also my sciatica was so bad afterwards that its lasted over a few months. But i would like to see inoue move up to featherweight and stay there as his final weight class. Theres just so much potential fights in featherweight class and i think that should be his limit.
i think nakatani would fight vs bam at 118 instead of inoue at 122 , and inoue would fight at 126 debut vs leo or espinoza in las vegas
I think Inouye has fought in America twice already DOH ?? so it won't make a difference he is the consumute professional and will take care of business regardless of who he is facing.
He has but not since he’s become a real superstar and earning top dollar in Japan
He’s already been to america
Correct
inoue vs bam is my dream fight
Inoue is too explosive fr Bum too powerful , Bum needs to fight Nakatani
Naoya Inoue has said that his younger brother Takuma will be a barrier for his match against Junto Nakatani, and it is expected that he will face Tokyo Goodman on December 24th and Las Vegas MJ next April!
There is no match with Nakatani at this point, and I don't think Nakatani can beat Naoya Inoue at this point!
Also, even if he fights Vargas, Ball, or Leo, Naoya Inoue will probably win!😊
I think this is the 4th time inoue will gight in the states
Also right on point with Tank and Inuoe being the same age with totally different level of opposition up to this point
Naoya already fought in USA...just you know that...
Monster Inoue p4p No1 The Best of The Best fighter in the world 🌍 today second Usyk third Crawford well done 🌎✅💯👍😁🎯🌍🌎✅💯👍😁🎯🌍
If he's confident defending his title outside Japan then it won't be MJ , could be Sam Goodman, Or another young person with a good record like Dennis McCann or Carl Martin lol you might say it's a crazy guess but if you're a promoter those are safe good picks.
Don't get me wrong Inoue is a great boxer.
first, love ya'lls work, man. Keep it up
Let’s goooo
Right on point with that Steven A. comment
the monster inoue is coming to america not fight but to try that famous italian pizza and chop cheese sandwich from NY
It’s like watching an old man getting old…lol
Inoue should fight bam and nakatani, and make them move up.
wait I think they said Inoue is gonna fight Canelo. When is that gonna happen??
A 126 lb “monster.” Lmfao.
how about you then? a 200 lb loser?
Are you an insecure man?

I just dont understand bobs thinking in having inoue fight in America if its not in featherweight even Japanese fans are not interested in super bantam so why would they fly out to America when they hardly care to watch it in there backyard if its a FW fight it could defo work though.
I think it’s to build the Nakatani fight
We don't celebrate Christmas over here in Japan, Japan is a more secular country with none of that man made religions bullshit. It's probably why it's so peaceful over here🤣🤣
Japan, peaceful since 1945 🙂
No, quite the opposite. Japanese "Shinto" is the belief that everything is a manifestation of God and has a soul. Otherwise, why would the Imperial Family have been performing Shinto rituals for 2,684 years?
That's bs. Japanese people celebrate Christmas with KFC. At least when I lived there ^_^
