Umar's record looks so impressive until you look at the people he's fought. It's CRAZY that you can even get into the UFC by only fighting debut people that NEVER fight again your whole career. Dudes opponents records are 0-2, 0-1, 0-1, 0-1, 0-1, 1-3, 1-1, 11-3, 1-2, 0-1, 13-8, 0-1, 19-5, 24-15, 16-3, 18-5, & 11-2. The 19-5 is the start of his UFC career.
I agree but I do think that’s the best way to start. Start off fighting cans for a long time for long time get used to fighting in the ring on live combat & get your hard work in the gym with good guys when it don’t count. I understand why people hate on it i honestly do too, but man it’s a smart strategy I think.
I used to hate when Strickland fought, he was plodding, slow, walk ‘em down mentality but the more I watched how he didn’t get hit, would deflect punches and leg check most kicks it was amazing.. I definitely appreciate his style now..
I experienced and talked about that dream dimension thing a few months ago. Super real, it's happened all my life and been basically one consistent second life along side this one since I was a kid.
Brilliant pod. Not what I was expecting at all. It was almost as if the roles became reversed and Sean and Tim wanted to ask all of the questions. I saw both of them in a new light today. Great stuff 👏🏼

I know this is old but Izzy wasn't flat against Strickland. He was firing shots but kept getting shut down by Sean. Sean did same thing to Costa. Every1 was calling Costa a fraud which is just dumb. Strickland shuts a lot of ppl down. It doesn't make them bad fighters. It's just a tough puzzle to figure out. It's a frustrating fight for most ppl when they face him especially after he got a little guidance from Poaton.
