1) The fear of the Lord is to stand in awe of him it is to honor, tremble, Revere, respect & value him more than anything or anyone else
2) Isaiah 33-6- He will be the sure foundation for your times, a rich store of salvation and wisdom and knowledge; the fear of the Lord is the key to this treasure.
3) The fear of the Lord makes us to obey HIS word and tremble at HIS presence
4) Through the fear of the Lord evil is avoided
5) The Lord makes Himself known to those who fear him; he makes his covenant known to them.
6) The fear of the Lord protects us from the snares of the evil one
7) Proverbs 22:44 By humility and the fear of the Lord are riches, and honor, and life.
