Tasty Soy Sauce Shrimp Recipe | Har Lok Chinese Prawn Recipe

  • Today i have made an easy and tasty Har Lok Chinese prawn dish. This dish is so easy to make and its as good as the restaurant style.
    Ingredients:
    500g prawns (big)
    5tbsp of cooking oil
    1tsp sesame oil
    1/4inch ginger
    6 cloves of garlic
    2tbsp of oyster sauce
    1tsp of sugar
    60ml of water
    1tbsp of dark soy sauce
    1tsp of chinese cooking wine
    3 stalks of spring onions
    Method:
    First add some oil in the pan and fry the prawns. Once done remove them and add is the sesame oil together with the ginger and garlic. Stir fry them for 2mins and then add the oyster sauce and sugar in, mix them well and add in the water. Once it comes to a nice boil add the fried prawns in and let it steam for about 2mins.
    Once done, add the dark soy sauce and mix them all really well and then add the chinese cooking wine in and mix it well. Finally finish it with spring onions and our tasty prawn dish is ready.
